Jon and his guys did a great job. He confirmed appointment ( A Saturday which I really liked) Jon arrived on time. Fully review the issues and gave me two different choices for the repair. (These doors are over 25 years old and were neglected) Jon took time to carefully explain and show me the problems. After the review I chose the repair and scheduled the repair. ( Jon was great and knows this trade well). Jon arrived two days later as promised with the right parts and completed the job. Thanks so much to him and has crew. I would hire again. Great pricing and quality work.

The guy came out and was very nice. He fixed the door in about 20-30 minutes. He had to replace both springs. The price was a lot higher for the springs than we thought. The door is perfect. It raises and lowers without us helping it. It makes almost no noise. They were wonderful! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

We had been trying to decide if we needed to replace the garage door and they came out and replaced some parts then realigned it. They were great. They would get an A.

Called and talked to Jon on Monday, April 23rd to talk about getting a new garage door opener installation done. He gave me a quote over the phone for a basic opener. I liked that he asked me if we'd be interested in the keypad opener for the outside of the garage because I hadn't even thought about it. Once we decided on everything, we scheduled the install for Saturday, April 28th and he gave me a window of 9-11 AM. They called about 15 minutes before they arrived and did arrive during the prescribed window of time. Once they got started, installation took about an hour. While they were there, they inspected the other door and let us know that the pulleys needed to be replaced and were able to do it that day. In addition to installing the garage door opener and replacing the worn pulleys on the other door, they lubed and serviced both doors. Overall, a great experience. Jon and Yuma were both very personable and professional.

John, the owner, was very responsive, answering all questions about brands, options, etc. He set up an installation appointment that would accommodate our schedules. He honored the Angie's List discount and subtracted the cost of the previous service call from our total bill. Dave, the employee who showed up at our home, was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. We are pleased with the two LiftMaster units we chose, both of which will eventually be installed in new garage doors. Overall, we were impressed with the service provided and would highly recommend this company.

We bought the house March 1 and were ready to replace the wobbly garage door opener. Though we have two single garage doors there was only an opener on one of the doors. It was probably the original and didn't have the safety 'eyes' as newer openers do. Since we rarely drive our second car, and we have a lot of expenses as new home owners, we opted to just replace the one opener, and not add another one to the second door. (We drive one of the cars 90% of the time so having to open the second door manually on the few occasions we drive that car was fine with us.) Jon and his technician arrived on time and we appreciated his call beforehand. We originally talked about installing two openers, but I told him we changed our mind (need to save some money for now). They quickly removed and installed the new opener, an exterior keypad, and programmed one of our cars 'remote' sensor HomeLink (in the sun visor) to replace the hand held opener. We could never get that to work with our old house so was pleased to see Jon was able to program it. They worked quick and clean, and I liked how they were paperless and emailed me the invoice. He lubricated both doors and showed me where to do so on my own. He mentioned the rollers on the rails of of both doors were old and some worn down (which made it noisier) and offered a $99 replacement kit. We turned it down and Jon wasn't pushy about selling it. The entire appointment took probably an hour.

I had Jon out to do an estimate on a new opener and door. He called several times to give me a heads up on his arrival time. This was great as it allowed me to plan my day. When he arrived, he immediately went into troubleshooting mode. He fixed an issue I was having within 10 minutes. He didn't try to sell me anything. He even said the opener that I had was a good one. I did want to get an estimate from him anyway and he went through and helped me figure out what I was looking for. He then emailed me the estimate on the spot. The price was very fair. Then we were talking about my existing opener and how it was hard to program since it was mounted incorrectly by the previous company before I bought the house. He programmed both our cars and a new opener which i agreed to buy on the spot. After programming the cars, he said that i didn't need the extra remote so he didn't sell it to me.I wish more contractors were like Jon. I'd consider using him for any service he provides. His attitude and customer service are excellent. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Overall, I couldn't be mor pleased with the job done. The technician was VERY knowledgable and very professional and personable. The job was done quickly and completely. The price was pretty much what I thought it would be. I would not hesitate to call this company again if needed and I highly recommend them if you have any garage door problems. They were great from start to finish!

Again, Sound Door did a great job. Fixed my squeaky, loud garage door. The tech took the time to really understand the problem and tested the squeaky door numerous times. After identifying the rails needed adjusting, he completed the work and even left me some lubricant for later use. Great company. Also, very cool payment system (all done via iPAD with email invoice and receipt) - I will definitely use Sound Door again and will refer them to my friends and family.

They did a great job. I liked that they even called before they came. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I actually called them to come back when I needed more work done.

When John came out to give us an estimate on garage doors, he was very helpful in explaining our options, and even offered to keep our one garage door opener (we have two doors). We decided to replace it however, with a quieter product. John replaced our old, wood doors with new, steel doors in a matter of six hours! John answered our questions and was always available when we called. They did a FANTASTIC job! I would highly recommend Sound Door Services.

Did a great job. I had one of my doors getting a bit rickety with age. They were very prompt about setting up an appt (soon) and getting here on time. Once here, he explained in detail all the different things that can go on with a door like that, my options, etc. and had it running smoothly again in 30 minutes. He also provided great advice to think about when I need to replace the doors one day (which is coming soon I think...).

He only did the work required to make the door work and nothing extra and no extra charges!!!!!!!!

When we called them, they came right out, were responsive, accurate, the installer was knowledgeable, and they did it appropriately. It took a week to get the door. We were very happy. I give them high ratings, will continue to use them in the future, and I will recommend them.

They were great. They came out to look the day I called, ordered the parts and had the job done 2 days later. They were courteous and professional during both the initial appraisal and the actual work. I will not only use them again, I will recommend them to anyone who need garage door work done.

Great! Joel was on time and fixed everything.He programmed all of our cars to sync with our garage doors, fixed our garage key pad, lubriated everything and fixed all of our lights. I was pleased.

The install was difficult because of the odd-sized opening. It took longer than expected to complete, but I was pleased with the installer's perserverence & with the overall results. I highly recommend this company.

Service was excellent. They showed me were the rollers were worn (no surprise after 20 years). The door works great (smooth and quieter than before) after 9 months. I will call this company again with no hesitation.

Over all I had a very good experience with Sound Door Services and would use them again if needed ,and I would recommend their services.

Our garage door opener was making a strange noise so we decided to have it checked out. I called sound door services and a technician was able to come out later that afternoon. John arrived on time and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He lubricated the door and even showed me how to do it and made suggestions on how often it should be done. I would definitely use sound door services in the future.

I purchased the big deal in December. I emailed John and asked when he could start the work. I didn't hear back from him a couple weeks later so I emailed him again. Again no response. So the third time I emailed him thru Angies list and the following day he called and left a message telling me he'd not gotten the first two emails. I called him back and he was apparently enroute and couldn't talk on the phone so he said he'd call me back that evening. He didn't call back and about three days later I called him. We set up a date for him to come out and the morning of the scheduled appointment he called and explained his truck had been in an accident and he needed to reschedule. He said he'd call me back that evening. Again, a few days later I had to call him. At that point I asked him if he wouldn't prefer to refund the money since it had been two months and I'm still waiting. He assured me he wanted to complete the job and we rescheduled. About a week later he sent out a very pleasant young man to do the install only to find that he was here to do a completely different job and wasn't equipped to do the scheduled work. He called John and again we rescheduled. At this point I was referring to my new remote as the comedy of errors. John came out himself a week later and did the install himself. He also checked out the garage door, made some very helpful suggestions and tried to make the final experience a favorable one. And it was. But I doubt that I'll ever buy another "Big Deal". It wasn't worth the headache.

But they actually had to replace the garage door opener and replace the bearings for the springs.

The representative was prompt, courteous, knowlegeable and arrrived at the front end of the appointment window. I would highly recommend this company.
