The tech showed up on time and made an examination and recommend which door needs to tune up. He also checked the other door and made an adjustment at no extra charge. He answered all my quesions and provide good adice how to maintain the door in good condition. He is a wonerful guy.

I had a squeaky garage door. I inherited it when I bought my house. After a couple of years, the noise became unbearable. I did check with a few vendors, who quoted me 700$s or more. When I saw the Angies Big Deal, I was skeptical but thought worth a shot. The technician fixed an appointment, arrived promptly at the agreed time, fixed the garage door. Also gave recommendations for another door. Thanks Angie for saving at least 600$s.

The person who showed up was competent and professional. He did the servicing, i.e. lube the rollers and make sure the garage door functions reasonably well. Then he pointed out the need for some additional work that he suggested would be required.

The serviceman was punctual, professional, and knowledgable. He was very good at explaining why every replacement spring I bought for one door would not work. I have 8' doors rather than 7'. Those springs are very hard to find. They don't stock these springs in their trucks (nor in the stores at Ace, Home Depot, or Lowes), but it gave me the knowledge to finally solve my extension spring mystery.

I came home fromwork on Monday night, pulled into the garage and closed the garage door. I was in the house for less than 30 minutes when we heard a loud thudd. We discovered it was a brokengarage door spring. We were stuck. We couldn't get the door open. I had purchased an Angie's deal previously from this company, and have been very pleased with them, so in my crisis I called them @ 7 :00 pm asking for help. They called me back within 30 minutes and said they'd have someone out to help us by 10:00 am. They were here exactly as promised, and had everything I needed to get the problem repaired. The job was done promptly, and the technician did a very detailed and complete job. He even tightened up all the screws he could find in the entire door system and greased the hinges,etc. He was very knowledgable & gracious to answer all my questions as he worked. This company came to my rescue and I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Top quality & honest business.

He came out and inspected the door and told me I didnt need new rollers just adjustments and lubing. Told me how sort of maintenance I should do on a yearly basis to keep all running fine. Very helpful.

I had purchased the Garage Door Tune-Up special posted on Angie's list. I called and scheduled an appointment for the following week. The technician showed up on time, was very friendly, told me what he was going to do and then competed the work within the time frame stated. He then had me inspect the door, showed me again what he did, covered the warranty and asked me if I had any questions. Very thorough and professional. I would not hesiate to use them again and would recommend them.

Our garage door stopped working one evening, so we called Sound Door the following morning. They were able to send out a guy that same day, and he arrived a little before noon (Estimated time of arrival was 1200-200pm). He looked at the door and diagnosed a broken spring. He told me that it would be about $200, comprised of $125 for the spring part replacement plus $95 for service. I said okay. When he was done, he showed me the bill which was over $300. I said that he quoted me about $200, to which he replied "that was for one spring, and I replaced two. Sorry for the confusion". I am 99% sure he quoted me about $200, so I was really annoyed at the "confusion" over what work needed to be done and the price. We ended up drafting a review here and emailing the company. They responded quickly, and apologized for the mistake and said that they'd be sending us a refund. Overall a good experience, but it would have been an overall "A" rating had we not had the pricing issue.

As luck would have it my garage door broke on Sunday afternoon. I searched Angies' List that evening for a good repair company and came across an Angie's Deal with Sound Door for $109. I sent an email that evening and called first thing Monday morning to schedule the appointment. They came at my request the following afternoon. The repair person arrived at the designated time, quickly diagnosed the problem and installed new rollers, lubricated all the works, and replaced a hinge pin. The best part was that all was covered in total by the $109 coupon purchased to recondition the door. Call me one very pleased customer. I will refer this company to everyone. The service can't be beat.

The servicemann was prompt, courteous, quick at his task. The charged priced was based on an Angie's list special. The experience was positive.

Great Experience - James arrived on time, inspected our two garage doors, and provided recommendations. James was professional, friendly, and explained all of the options to us. Services provided: Replaced all rollers, pulleys, a set of frayed cables, all loose bolts/nuts were secured and segments of the track were re-aligned. Also, James took the time to explain how the garage door mechanics worked and informed us what to look for in the future. We highly recommend Sound Door Services and would use them again.

The work went smoothly both times. They were super professional and courteous. When they were not able to do the work detailed on the deal, they went ahead with what they could do. They suggested replacing the doors but didn't do any hard selling. I wanted to replace them anyway because they were so heavy, and I didn't like the idea of a spring breaking. They credited back the amount of the deal to the estimate of door replacement. They were always on time, informative, and courteous. Great job and I would call them back again in a second. Highly recommend.

It went very well. The man was very prompt, friendly, and professional. It was an overall very good experience. I didn't feel he was trying to sell me anything that I didn't need.

They were just great. They were here on time, and did a nice job. They told me that I would need some work in the future, which I have not done, but I felt they were honest and did provide the service I paid for.

My garage door (an old NW door) was failing VERY quickly in the center of a 16' wide double door. I called 3 primary companies in the area. Jon was first to respond AND to call me back after I used there website to request info. Jon immediately knew what the issue was and recommended a solution in a price range I could live with. The other 2 did contact me back. HOWEVER, 1 company tried to UPSELL me more than I needed/wanted and the other required me to drive all the way into Bellevue FIRST and THEN they would schedule me an estimator. The other local company came out promptly and gave a fair estimate (although the door MFG they use doesn't provide a MID RANGE door like I wanted). So, I would either have to go with the "el-cheapo" version, or the 3 layered double steel one which was $200 more than I was willing to spend. At the end of all that I find out that they are "BOOKED SOLID" on installs and it would likely be 3 weeks before I could get my door installed. Given the state of my old garage door, I doubt it would have lasted 3 weeks. Jon, on the other hand, gave me all the options, but NEVER tried to upsell me on anything. He even gave some excellent suggestions on how to save some $$$ on the entire install (which I went with). Overall Jon beat the bids of his 2 closest competitors and the workmanship and SPEED to which the install happened was outstanding. I'm recommending him to ALL my friends, family and neighbors
