It was short and sweet. He showed me what he was going to do. He moved it up and down and said ti was a loud one and he could make it quieter which he did.

I was lucky, but Jon was finishing up a job nearby in Sammamish. I could tell from the sounds he was busy working, but gave me a quick estimate and was at our home in around 45 minutes. Jon proceeded to replace the springs and lubricated the drive and bearings and everything was working again and MUCH quieter than I can ever recall. And while he was finishing up, he received another call and then was on his way. Very professional and efficient.

The gentleman from Sound Door Services was prompt and knowledgeable. I asked him to replace both garage door springs, and service the door in general. He did a great job, and even was able to provide a remote for the garage door opener.

They did a great job. Tuned up garage and did regular maintenance.

I had inadvertently allowed my coupon to expire. Jonathan was very kind when I explained that, as a disabled vet, I had frequent lapses of memory and he honored the coupon without question. I received a telephone call that morning to see if it would be okay for the technicians to arrive about 30 - 45 minutes early. I thought that this was a very time-efficient organization. The team came out and replaced the old rollers in accordance with their coupon agreement and the results were immediately noticeable. The weather strip was replaced quickly and with very little noticeable problems. They were professional, efficient and worked very fast to get the job done. The technicians were very thorough in their explanation of what was performed, what to expect in future maintenance visits and answered all my questions and concerns. They were extremely courtesy and went about their business without supervision or oversight. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!!!

We had an excellent experience with Sound Door Services. Our garage door was screeching loudly and not fully closing at times. We bought a coupon from Angie's List and scheduled the service appointment. The tech came out the next day much to our surprise. He was timely, communicated what he was finding and informed us of one additional item that needed to be fixed. We were delighted with the service we received.

They dispatched a service person very quickly and when he came out, he told us that for our door, roller replacement is not necessary so we don't need this package that we purchased. We got the money back. We appreciate very much their honesty. Hard to find this level of professionalism these days! When we have a real problem with our garage door, we'll definitely call them.

Appointment was made and the person arrived on time. The technician examined the doors and gave his recommendation on the condition of the garage doors (the original garage doors from the late 70s) and possible options. Since we will likely be selling the house in the near future, we agreed to the offered work of the Big Deal of replacing the metal rollers with new and improved ones. He left me with a written estimate on options if I would be interested for the future. There was an immediate improvement in the functioning of both doors and I have a cost estimate on possible future needs if we would decide to go that route.

Excellent, they were responsive and punctual. John gave me a thorough review of what to watch for and they left recommending that other than some light lubing no further work needed at this time. I called Sound Door (based on Angies' list reviews) early-mid-morning to have them replace my broken garage door springs. John said he may not be able to come until Monday ( I thought this OK since it was so late and they likely had a full day scheduled) He said he would try to get to me late in the day and would call if he could make it. Well, John did call, and he did come, and he and Chris (I think) were great guys. They rescued us from a weekend of no garage door. I thought there price was reasonable and they gave me a Angies' list 10% discount. Would I use Sound Door again - Yes. They wil be at another home of mine next week to give me an estimate on a new door. Would I recommend them - a resounding YES! ( you don't get many of these from me)

Sound Door showed up on time and performed work in timely manner and professional attitude, no surprises either.

He replaced the rollers and adjusted the spring tension. The door wouldn't open all the way when he got there, and he repaired that problem. He didn't try to sell me any more services I didn't need. He was in and out in about a half an hour. Great work!

I received a confirmation call today prior to the appointment and he even asked if he could come early. He arrived on time for the appointment and was very professional. He went through the steps and explained why the work wouldn’t be helpful for my door due to the age. I appreciated his honesty and have requested a refund.

Our 20-year-old Craftsman (Sears Best) door opener lost a drive gear and I was anticipating a full replacement, potentially including the door. The technician (Jonathan) looked at the unit and determined within five minutes that the gear unit could be replaced, he had the part on his truck, and that the door springs were ok. He pointed out the evidence of ageing components and offered his opinion about what could be done for the short term as well as options up to replacing the door, but zero pressure to up-sell the immediate necessities, which I very much appreciated.

We bought a deal from them. Booked a date. They did what they said they would do. A perfect experience.

Not much of a story to tell, the door was fixed and it works just fine.

I contacted Sound Door for the Member Deal of a garage door tune-up and roller replacement for $99. When the technician arrived, ON TIME, we looked at my door and discovered that I had the wrong springs installed. He offered to do the tune-up and replace the springs, all for $200 dollars - and I said YES. Now my door works smoothly and quietly. I would definitely use Sound Door again, and recommend them to my friends.
