I purchased two Angie's List Big Deal specials for these services and things turned out fine. They did a fine job and I was pleased with their work. This was the first time I used this company.

I spent about $80 more because there was something else wrong. I like the guy that came out very much. He was very helpful. He took things apart and inspected things. The door was running very slowly anyway so it needed the service and he said that there were some wires that tread around the wheels for some of these garage doors and he said the bearings and the wheels were shot and the replacement wheels were like $20 each. They were kind of on the expensive side. To be honest, at first, I was a little bit suspicious but he let me watch all of his work and he let me keep the old wheels and when I actually tried them out, they were almost as stiff as could be because the bearings were shot. He was right on the money and the door works much better now. He said there was a chance that we might have to replace the springs which would have been kind of expensive. He said "no, let's not do it, let's try to adjust it so you don't have to replace it." He adjusted it which was very helpful. The garage door works fine. It's an old fashioned door. It has a kind of a little mechanical release right in the middle of the door itself and that mechanical release was broken and I asked how much it would be to fix it that day and he said $65 and I said "is that something I could do myself for less?" and he was very kind, he immediately said yes. I thought he was very upfront. We certainly would use him again. The wheels were a little expensive but that's fine.

My experience with them went great. It was good. He came out, did the garage door, and took care of things that needed to be taken cared of. He came out a day or two after we set up the appointment. There were no extra charges. They were good, prompt, on time, did what they were supposed to, and they have good recommendations.

It was fine. They were very pleasant and they were to schedule it soon after I purchased it.

Was not able to re-set automatic opener - He suggested that I get a new sensor installed.

Sound Door Services was fantastic. They gave free recommendations on how to properly use the garage wheels because for some gears, they do get these garage doors replaced. The one that I've got was pretty much on the flat place. I would definitely use them.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for this service. The service was a garage door "conditioning", but they also adjusted the door to raise up higher, like I had requested. They arrived on time, were professional, thorough, and fast. I would use them again.

James arrived right on time and was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. He got the job done in a very short amount of time and the door is working perfectly again. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend anyone in need of garage door services to call them first. :)

They were on time and knowledgeable. They gave us good feedback and explained what was wrong with the door and why they couldn't fix it because it had different kind of tracking on it. Therefore, we ended up installing a brand new door.

I did pay them extra for some additional service that they have done. Overall they did an excellent job.

Technician came out the day following my call. He was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and prompt. I really don't know if the price is in line with other companies as I did not have any other bids. I had purchased an Angie's List $99 deal nearly two years ago but as the garage door was working at the time, I forgot all about it and never scheduled the preventive maintenance visit. I figured I was simply going to be out the $99. However, they were kind enough to apply the $99 toward the total cost of the repairs anyway. I would use Sound Door again.

Overall a good experience. The technician evaluated the system and luckily it was a small issue that was causing the door to come out every so often. He made the adjustment and performed standard reconditioning, replacing the rollers. One note (not complaint) is that the new rollers weren't all that much quieter than our current.. we hadn't been sure what to expect but they basically sounded the same :).. our house was just 3 years old at the time though so generally everything still close to new condition.

Did a great job and the price was reasonable. I feel much better about my garage door now - it has new springs.

Wonderful experience. I sent an email to them in the evening and they called me back in response to my email within 30-60min, which I didn't expect as it was after hours (like 7:30pm or 8pm). I was amazed by the response. They scheduled themselves to come out first thing in the morning, took a look at the broken spring and confirmed that was the issue--then explained the cost and repair and quickly fixed everything. Excellent service, very professional and courteous. Would totally use them again.

Jon and Sound Door Services came to the rescue. Called them on Memorial Day morning. Cable snapped on garage door. Was unable to open the door so we were stuck with both cars in the garage. Jon came within a few hours and installed a new cable, plus did some additional maintenance tasks. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything he was doing every step of the way. I was initially told there would be an additional charge for coming out on an emergency basis on a holiday. Jon ended up waiving this fee. I would not hesitate to use Jon and Sound Door Services in the future. Thank you Jon!

Purchased trough company rep. John who was Was courteous Came to our home with lots of pictures, and info plus computer to show different colors and door with the different windows installed. John followed up by sending the pictures and final bid to us by email. For Installation ALL went well, with cleanup when done.

I did pay a little more than the Deal because I have more wheels than the Deal covered. The serviceman from Sound Door Services was professional about it but I think the Deal itself is kind of useless. I have a little gap in my garage door and I thought the Deal for garage door reconditioning would level the garage door but it didn't. When I called to schedule he said it might help with that but it didn't really help at all with that. He did replace the wheels but in reality it was kind of worthless to spend the money.

Sound Door Services sent an estimator initially to look at the old, semi-operational wood garage doors and determine a plan for replacing them. There was an extension built onto the garage by a previous owner to fit a larger car. He recommended tearing off the extension so that two standard sized doors could be used to save money. This was good advice, however, he thought that it would not require much work to tear off, re-frame, and patch up the area around the door. It was quite a bit of work and cost a fair amount of money, which added significantly to the overall cost of replacing the doors. But, as far as Sound Door Services' actual work, they did an excellent job of installing the doors at the agreed upon price. They were also quite flexible in rescheduling around when the contractor could do the re-framing around the one door. I would definitely recommend Sound Door Services.

He was prompt, helpful, professional and did everything we asked. He provided a written statement report on the state of the doors. When we move into our new house, if there is anything wrong with the garage doors, we will call them out to do the work for us.

My 30-year old doors were too old to have new rollers replaced. That was the special. He did replace all four springs and took the service call off the total.
