It worked out fine. I talked to him on the phone and then based on the schedule they came out within the next week. I like the guy that came through as a matter of fact I would probably use them again. They basically took care of the door with no additional fee. They had to make different adjustments, the important thing was that they assessed the door and they made sure that my door wasn't going to fall on me. The guy told me what he was doing, he told me why, he explained everything to me.

The owner of the company was the gentleman that I had been working with in setting up the appointment as well as who came out to do the work. He was very pleasant, easy to work with, and had been wonderful about letting me set a timeframe that worked into my crazy schedule. He arrived very promptly, began working on the doors right away, and finished quickly. He described and explained everything that he was going to do and answered all of my questions.

The service man called when he was on the way to the appointment; arrived on time; was friendly and listened to what I had to say about the problem. He went straight to work and completed the work quickly and efficiently. He demonstrated the refreshed door with its new rollers, much to my satisfaction. I asked him about whether his company also replaced garage doors and he said they did and gave me a brochure showing the variety of doors they have available as well as a rough estimate of the cost should I later decide to get a new door. Very professional and I was very satisfied and would use them again.

He was there on time, friendly, knew what he was doing and did it quickly. The price was right and I will call this company if I have problems in the future.

It turned out really well! I was very satisfied. They were very quick and very thorough and spot-on. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal the amount. They were really conscientious. They were right on time and they were just really great characters!

John took my initial call and was pleasant to deal with. He was able to come out and give an estimate quickly and was very knowledgeable. The technology he had available to him during the initial meeting was great. He was able to photograph my garage and put the door we selected on it so we could see how it looked. Really helpful to visualize it that way. Their quote was lower than a previously received quote and the strategy for door placement was more sound than the other installer Juan installed the door within 5 days and was masterful. He was confident, made it all seem so easy and my garage inside looked better when he left then it did when he arrived. He cleaned up after himself and was very nice and professional to deal with. He was done within a few hours and we are thrilled with our new door!

I purchased the service as an Angie's List Big Deal. The serviceman clearly knew his business and it was actually quite interesting to watch him replace the rollers so quickly. He checked both door mechanisms and recommended that the spring and wires be replaced, pointing out some places in which the cables had weakened. He was able to give me a quote for that service, which I intend to pursue. (Note: This review was edited because it was initially taken over the phone. The substance of the review did not change with this update. I just wanted to sound like I knew how to string a sentence together. )

It was a gift for our daughter and she said he was very professional and on time and just got it all done.

Great. Serviceman checked the door thoroughly and let me know he saw no problems with it. Gave me some maintenance tips. Then he fixed the garage door opener and showed me how I could fix it myself in the future. Good customer service.

I really appreciate Sound Door. They were great on every level. Really helped us when our door was stuck open, and it left us vulnerable. They came out within a couple of hours and closed the door(which weighed about 250 lbs.) and assessed the replacement. Excellent response time! Courteous employees. Professional - and excellent work. Within a couple of days the new door was up and working fabulously! This is a company to hire for great work!

Was honest and up-front about the fact, that in this rental, the garage door hadn't been kept up and needed to be replaced. He didn't want to make matters worse.

The estimator came out on the day I called to give us a firm quote for two styles of steel garage doors, including a new opener. He sent the quotes by email the same day. We chose the door we wanted and set up the appointment for the installation one week later. The installer arrived on time, and had our new door ready and working within four hours. He showed me all the features of the new opener, then cleaned up his work area and removed all the debris. We are very pleased with the new door, especially the quietness of the opener!

It went really well. A guy came in and did exactly what they said they're going to do. I haven't had any problem with it.

Chris was very quick on fixing the door cycle and replacing the garage door rollers - cited over torque of door spring; but, did not readjust. I asked for exchange or added cost for the lower door seal - will contact / bring the correct door seal when in this area.

Showed up on time, explained what needed to be done, including costs, and completed the work. Jon also, gave us a recommendation for an opener that would work for our low overhead clearance. We were extremely satisfied with the service and Jon's professionalism.

The owner of the company (Jon Jacobs of Sound Door Services) performed the repairs. He showed up promptly and set out to work right away. Besides replacing the rollers, he also installed a new trolley (carriage) in the screw drive for the opener (to replace one that was kaput) -- he did this service for no additional charge, even though my particular set-up required some extra time and effort for him to do so. Additionally, he measured the "spring-borne" weight of the garage door, and noted that it is heavier than desired. He then provided a free written estimate for replacing the springs to correct the problem. The end result was much quieter and smoother operation of the garage door. Overall, the service rendered was performed expertly, quickly and with professionalism. I plan to use this provider for future repairs on another set of garage doors that need attention.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and they were very good. The technician did an excellent job and they close and open marvelously. It was at a rental home and we were trying to seal the doors a little more. They recommended a weatherstripping service but we chose not to do it.

I'm not saying he talked to me into something much more expensive, cause I didn't have that kind of door that the special was for so he came and did extra springs and stuff, I guess needed them. But he was a good guy, guess he got the service fall, but it was just more money than I though it would be. He couldn't do the big deal because we didn't have that kind of door. He said I needed like a launcher, he did what should have been done.
