The service turned out good. I thought the technician was honest with me about what was going on with my garage doors and what could be fixed.

They were punctual and showed up at the beginning of the appointment time. They completed repairs in a professional manner and did a good job. My door is now safe and runs more smoothly.

There might have been cheaper doors out there but I needed one and they were already there and they were willing to subtract the deal I got through Angie's List. They were nice, they were prompt and they did everything well, except they did not caulk around the wood after they put in the door. They told me I needed to do that. I guess that wasn't apart of what they do even though I thought it was. They just installed the door and it's up to you to caulk it. Because the door kind of like sits in the wood but then there's space between the wood trim and the house so I would have thought that they would have caulked that. But they were good, prompt, they cleaned everything up and hauled the trash away.

There was a lot of work involved with getting the old door out and prepping the opening for the new door. They did a great job - I love my new door, and the installation is very well done. I would definitely use them again in the future.

He arrived on time, checked all the nuts and bolts, greased it and he replaced the wheels that run in the track. The door was not broken but need to be checked. He also showed me how to grease the tracks.

They were fine. He was quick, informative and he explained what he was doing. He gave me basic information about my door and I wouldn't hesitate to call him back again.

It was a good experience. The gentleman did the work as promised, and he finished everything within a half-hour. If I have any garage door problems in the future, then I will definitely use this company.

Technician showed up as scheduled and did all the requested work and also adjusted a spring at no cost. Very capable and professional. Completely cleaned up afterwards. Very pleased.

Our garage door completely broke off its railing so we needed a replacement door in a hurry. We got several estimates - Sound Door was very reasonable and they had the door we wanted in stock and could come out and replace it in a couple days. Other companies gave us weeks delay in their turnaround and they were more expensive. Sound Door did a good job explaining our different door and opener options. They hauled away our old door and installed the new one and a quieter belt drive opener. The work they did was very good. Everything has been working well since then. I do wish they had explained how the door functions a little better. A few days after installing, the door didn't close. I called them and they immediately sent someone out who explained that the automatic sensors had gone out of alignment and showed me how to fix it (very easy). They didn't charge for this. A few months ago, the door stopped working again. I ended up calling a local company because it was a Sunday and I had to leave the house in a couple hours. They explained that the emergency cord had switched the door to a manual setting and showed me how it worked. I did have to pay for this service call because it was a different company (not Sound Door's fault - I was just in a super hurry). So while nothing was wrong with the door each time, I did end up wasting time and money on things that I now know how to fix on my own. I had read the manual for the door but it wasn't very clear and I didn't want to risk breaking anything by trying to fix it on my own. I feel like a more thorough explanation of all the functions of the door after it was installed would have saved this extra hassle.

That was fine. They came out within a couple of weeks. I would use them again.

Jon was very professional, and his installer did an immaculate job. The seals are perfect, with no light to be seen from the edges, and the doors are quiet and smooth. They were installed on time in a single day. All in all, a very good experience and a great deal!

Garage Opener arm had pulled out of the door. Wasn't sure if spring or something else bad happened, so called these guys up to come take a look. Came out looked at the door and didn't see anything wrong with springs or anything, just that the door was a little heavy. They installed a support bracket that I had already purchased from an online place. They did a basic service check of both doors and made sure safety settings were in place correctly etc. Overall did a great job, answered questions that I had and would use them again if I need garage door service. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or want, which is a huge plus.

Quick response and the rep that did the work was friendly and efficient. Replaced 4 extension springs, oiled all moving parts and readjusted garage door opener. Work was done fairly quickly. It was a pretty straight forward job. One set of springs he brought were not strong enough and the doors basically dropped under their own weight when garage door opener was disconnected. The springs installed were a bit to strong for the doors and the doors open on their own when the opener is disconnected. He informed us that the installed springs would settle in given time and use. Hopefully that is the case. Don't get me wrong, everything works fine and if the springs do settle in as was stated, the quality rating will move up from "good" to "excellent". After seeing my initial review, the company contacted me and asked if they could send another tech to review the work that had been previously completed. Upon arrival, he explained to me what he didn't like about the initial install and reworked it at no charge. It was obvious the 2nd tech was more experienced and he accomplished what he came to do very quickly. They also instructed me on things to watch for in the future. I have to say that I would have never known there was any real issue and was fairly happy with the work that had previously been done but after their explanation, I have a bit more understanding of what things should look like on a properly functioning garage door. Absolutely great customer service and follow through.

It went very well. They were very flexible with scheduling, courteous and professional. The job was done quickly and we were glad we did have it done. We didn't realize just how noisy the garage door was until it became so quiet!

Sound door salman ws on time very friendly - he explain what he did and the time he took , he did a great professional job the roller that was on before I had them install after I purchase my doors which were new. The roller before were number ten but the person install them said they were the best . I think the one sound install for me are the best because they are incase with bearing they sound smooth going up and down not like the old ones. thank Angies

OK. Did everything as asked, only thing was door does not seat properly to the floor.

Everything went great. I was able to get service on the day of the week I wanted & got a call that morning he was on his way (I appreciate that so much because half the time you don't know if they remember they are supposed to be at your house!). He was right one time, really pleasant & helpful, and finished the work without any problems. Would definitely use him again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He was very professional, he seemed very knowledgeable about the garage door. When he recommended the additional service, he wasn't pressuring me but I assumed he felt like I had to make a decision on the spot because it would have been a different service call and he had to come out and do it at a different time. I paid an additional amount for the overhaul.
