Fine. The skilled technician not only arrived on schedule, but kept us informed by phone prior to his arrival on exactly when he would arrive. He performed his work quickly and knowledgeably, and was very easy and pleasant to deal with.

Responded to my call quickly and we scheduled a time that worked with my schedule. On the day of service he was on time, and very professional; service was thorough. Would definitely recommend to others.

James (great guy by the way!) rang in advance to say he would be on time, and arrived promptly at the start of the window we were quoted. I had a torsion spring that needed to be re-tensioned after it "let go" and landed me in the urgent care room. James, constructed a new bracket mount out of metal and applied four lag bolts (as opposed to the two that were in there before). When I mentioned in passing, that one of us often has to leave early, which wakes the other one, he asked if we had a bedroom above the garage and suggested, and then fitted (having checked price with me) nylon rollers to replace the noisy metal ones. Also as I was half way though fitting an opener on the other door, when the spring incident happened, he finished the installation for me and fully tested and adjusted the door movement. Everything was left neat and tidy, he took all the old parts away with him, and ensured that I was satisfied with everything he had done, before he left. The doors are now so quiet and smooth to operate! To be clear, of the $300 charged, $200 was for the new rollers. All the remaining tensioning, fitting and adjusting was covered by the call out charge. I was very happy with the price and how quickly he completed the job. Ask for James! :-)

They called and asked if the technician could come in half hour early, which was perfect I didnt have to wait all day. He came and assessed what was wrong with my garage(s) and he went right straight to work - very fast and did all that

They answered all of my questions. I was a little disappointed with their solution to the problem. But I ended up using a different company for the repairs.

It all went well. From the initial conversation with Jonathan at the Sound Door office to Chris providing the actual services at my home, the experience was all handled in a professional manner. Chris even provided me with a little education on maintenance for the door motor chain and rail that I could perform.

I went well. The rollers had already been replaced. What he came out to do had already been done. He did spend time talking to me about my options, and explained everything about garage doors to me and I learned a lot for him. He replaced bolts and tightened screws for me and also lubricated rollers for me while he was out there. He called his supervisor and they were able to offer me a credit since he was unable to perform the work that he originally came out to do

The garage door would not go down and it appeared the photo sensors had failed. James showed up on time, in fact a little early, and confirmed the photo sensors were in fact bad. After replacing them and lubricating the door he commented the rollers would need to be replaced at some point. He said the new rollers would be nylon and quitter. So I had them replaced. He noted other issues but felt they should wait until other service was needed. I appreciate pointing out issues before they require another service call.

Based on prior estimates I thought I needed a new garage door opener for something that looked like a simple fix. The previous estimate from another company was about $500 to install a new opener and perform a number of must do repairs. Chris from Sound Door came out and said you just need to replace this part. He had the part in his truck, did the repair and performed some simple maintenance. I also asked about the need for other repairs as quoted in prior estimates. He said it wasn't necessary. Overall, workmanship was good, customer service great and honest and price was low.

They do great and we are very satisfied with them. If we have parts that need replaced they let us know and replace them.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they were good. They were responsive.

Sound Door Services is simply the best! We were in the midst of a nightmare dealing with another company, and Jon took over and saved the day for us. He was prompt, professional, and efficient. The door installation is solid, and the doors open & close quietly and smoothly. I give Sound Door Services my highest recommendation -- I wouldn't use anyone else.

I dealt with Jon via email and on the telephone. He made a recommendation and gave me a price quote and I agreed with his recommendation. He said they would install on Wednesday of the next week. I was given a 2 hour window when I should expect them. 1/2 hour into this window I received a call from James saying I should expect him at 1 PM. almost on the button, James rang the bell. He was very pleasant and professional and went right to the task at hand. He did it right the first time, instead of some do overs, and approximately an hour later he was done. He programmed the remotes for the vehicles, did a test on all functions and he was done. James was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely use this firm again. So should you1

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was wonderful. My garage door is working wonderfully now. They scheduled it right away and came out within a week of me purchasing the big deal. They did what they were supposed to do, and they were fine.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It turned out really well. They took care of the door really well. We've had no problems since then. We paid an additional $200. They were very personable and he was a very teachable person, which I liked. We didn't compare their prices but we think we got a good deal.

I was satisfied with the work.

After initial scheduling hiccups, the repairman arrived within the scheduled, two hour window and performed the service as it was described. He offered to do additional work (I'd have been surprised if he didn't). The additional work included replacing the pulleys and putting in a weather seal at the bottom of the garage door. He was courteous and didn't make the additional work a hard sell. The main part of the service, wheels and pulleys, was done well and the door now operates much more smoothly. My only complaint is that the weather seal at the bottom of the door was put in place with staples that were too small and too short and the seal has begun to pull away either because staples have fallen out or pulled through the rubber. I would use this company again, but would make sure the weather seal is more substantial and more securely attached.

They came over to give me an estimate and installed the door within three days of initial phone call. Only reason I gave B is they have not replaced the control panel that came with a minor problem.

Very well. The door is much quieter now.

Vendor arrived earlier than scheduled, looked at our garage door, told us we did not need reconditioning and suggested that we contact Angie's List for a refund. It was a rare pleasure to encounter such an honest businessman. Thumbs up!

We were going to get the wheels of the garage door fix but our doors were so old that there were no replacement wheels for them, So we decided to get a new door installed. The coupon we purchase was applied to the new door. John from Sound Garage door was very nice and explained the cost and the product. And they even sweep the garage after the installation. We're very happy with the new garage door.
