Had a case of a broken spring. Called Sound Door on Tuesday AM and they came out on Wednesday PM. Technician arrived on time, replacement was quick and now garage door is as good as new. Great job!!!

The Sound rep. came out because our garage door was opening sporadically on its own. He tightened up some connections in the head unit, lubed the rollers, and programmed the opening mech in my wife's new car ... all for free! He just asked that when we had any significant parts work done to keep Sound in mind. Believe me, we will!!

Very good service. A month later we accidentally crashed our garage door, and they fixed it for us. Again, very good service and professional.

He provided a quote on the spot and I agreed to have the work done, so we scheduled a date and time. Again Chris arrived promptly as scheduled. He installed the new opener and made the connections for the opener, He told me that the springs currently installed were of a heavier quality than the new ones he would install, that they were in good condition and did not need to be replaced, saving me $136. Appreciated the honesty and the savings. Bottom line, I was able to get a new garage door opener, and also have the existing opener serviced to work properly for a reasonable price. Sound Door is truly a "sound" business and would recommend them to anyone that is having any problems with garage doors. Chris was professional and pleasant, got the job done quickly, and answered my many questions. Many thanks.

Service went well, they completed all purchased services with a good attitude and patiently answered all my questions. The nylon rollers are excellent and sound MUCH quieter than the previous metal ones.

I needed the garage door repaired by a professional and I needed same day service due to an early closing. I was on the phone over an hour calling garage repairmen before I got Jon. He said he could be there within the hour. Now only was he on time and had the repair done within a minute, he also lubed and serviced the door since he was there for the minimum fee. He emailed me the receipt for the buyers shortly thereafter. He's definitely going in my referral book for all future garage door repairs.

The technician arrived on time. He was pleasant and helpful. Worked quickly. Advised me on the proper lubricant to use on the rollers. Finished the job within 45 minutes. No problem with the door since this service.

Looking at the fine print, it appears they did everything they said they would. What's disappointing is that they did not touch the garage door opener which one would think should be included. My chain was loose and needed a simple tightening. I did it myself later after researching how to do it, but I would think that a professional would just take an extra 2 minutes and do it as part of the service, especially if they want follow-up business. Looking at other deals on Angie's List, Groupon, and Living Social, I should have gotten a cheaper one that includes tuning up the garage door opener as well. Overall, the service was fine, but I would not use this company again.

SDS was clear in showing the wear and tear on our existing parts and explaining why they needed replacement. Even though it turned out to be an expensive "tune up", the doors now run smoothly and safely and should be in good shape for several years.

Chris was courteous and informative. He offered advice and answered all questions simply and directly. He explained the basic services and did not try and sell additional services as the basic reconditioning service I purchased solved the issues with the door as we both anticipated it would. He worked quickly and efficiently. Overall, he was very professional.

They came out; they said my door did not qualify for the big deal.They were on time; very professional. I worked with James and the owner Don. They were both polite and professional.

They came out and did a good job. He explained what he was going to do before doing it. My garage doors work smoothly and I was very satisfied. He also put a sticker with their phone number near the opener so I can call them if I need anything. They called and made the appointment and they showed up on time.

Big improvement. The technician also adjusted, reconditioned the mechanism so that the opener runs properly again - it had been refusing to close. They tuned up my roll-up garage door, replaced all the roller wheels with new nylon wheels. They greased the track. The technician was quick and very knowledgeable. I also purchased door bottom gasket from him sot that I could replace that on the bottom of my door. My door goes up and down easily and quietly now.
