I was very, very happy with Sound Door Services' work. They did a terrific job and I really want them to come back, I just haven't had the time to call them.I wanted somebody to come out here because I said once all this stuff is adjusted and do I still have a noise problem and it turned out I did. I initiated it, I said "give me a price on this product, on the garage door opener" and they installed it the same day and we were able to go out and get it. I want them to do the same thing for my other garage door now. It wasn't something that they tried to push on me, it was something that I told them I wanted then after listening to the garage door. They were really fast, very communicative, really polite and they offered me some options that were cheaper so I don't feel like I was ever pushed into it.

We bought one of the deals from Angie's List for the a garage door tune-up. Our garage doors are ancient and the one that gets the most use was starting to sound pretty bad. We thought we would buy a little time before we had to replace it. The service provider was knowledgeable and friendly. He looked at both doors and the openers and provided good information and advice. We got a quote and will probably use them when we do have to replace them.

We had just moved in to this house, and found the door would stick sometime, balking at opening. Sound Door adjusted the tension and performed basic maintenance, and it works great! They also walked me through how to do some of the maintenance work ourselves, although for the price I would hire them back regularly!

I contacted them a couple of times in 2011 and they never got back to me. lost their contact information but they responded immediately when they were contacted yesterday. Very happy with their quick response and service.

It went really well. They were on time and very pleasant. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. I had to wait a few weeks until they could come out -- which was probably due to how busy they got. The door has held up fine since they did the work.

The Sound Door Tech was professional and helpful. He ended up replacing other parts (springs & pulleys) that were in need of repair.

What a great business to work with! My garage door could not be closed; and of course it was 7:00pm when it malfunctioned. After asking my neighbor to help try to close it manually; we realized that was not going to work either. Based upon a referral, I called Sound Door. John answered and said they did not typically do after hour calls anymore. He asked a few questions about what happened and how the door was (or was not) functioning. Since I was home with my kids and needed my home secured, he offered to come out. He was at my home within the hour (and it was a fairly long commute). He quickly fixed the problem; found another problem just waiting to happen; and showed me how to maintain the work he had done. I am so thankful for the personal touch he puts on his business and would highly recommend their services to anyone. You get the quality you pay for. Thank you John - may family is secure tonight.

It's been very difficult scheduling something with the provider. They are not nice over the phone and cancelled on me after I had to wait for a week. Also, their website (which I checked before buying the Big Deal) says they work on weekends but when I called to schedule a Saturday appointment they told me they don't work on weekends and the business hours on their website were wrong too.

We are hoping this one will last longer than the previous two sets. They made sure everything was in place before they left.

They were terrific. They were on time. They were here when they were supposed to. There wasn't anything negative. I just spent the cost for the big deal. I guess their work was fine. The door still works. I would consider using them in the future.

The technician was prompt, polite and did a great job. When they came for the initial estimate they gave me several options and were very low pressure and easy to work with. I would use them again if needed.

Everything turned perfectly. Scheduling went great and they were able to come out shortly after I purchase the deal. They were able to get the job done in a day and I was not required to bet here which was great. I was satisfied with what they did for me.

He reviewed the situation and found one spring had failed completely and the other was functioning - but I opted to have him replace that one as well. I had the guys at Sound Door install our garage door opener about 3-4 years ago. I called them back last week to replace my broken tension springs. In my conversation with them, I noted that we were thinking about replacing the current chain drive opener with a quieter option, as we were finding the current one too loud, especially since our daughter's room was right above. I was quite pleased to have both John & Chris trouble shoot the issue with me and make some recommendations on how to limit the vibrations, the root cause of my issue, versus just selling me a new opener. I found their honesty refreshing and greatly appreciated.

It went well and we plan to use them again.

A contractor backed his trailer through my garage door, so I looked on Angie's List and found Sound Door was highly rated and nearby, and offered a discount. Really great choice. He inspected the damage, and was back to replace it a day later. New door matches perfectly, and it's much quieter than the old one. Only difference is that he didn't include the opening handle that was on the previous one.

The service went really, really well. My incredibly noisy garage door opener quieted down by more than half. I was impressed enough that I also had them come back and replace the garage door opener as well. The price was competitive with Amazon, allowing about $100 for installation. The opener they recommended is fantastic. Both faster and smoother than my old one, and it works with compact fluorescent light bulbs. The old opener needed one regular and one CFL in order to work properly. The living room is directly above the garage, and using the opener no longer causes vibrations in the floor. It is so quiet, you can't hear it from inside the car, even right underneath it. When doing the install, Chris fixed up some of the "builder grade" things that had been done, including installing much more robust mounting brackets for the opener. Look at your garage door opener. Chances are, there are metal pieces with circular holes in them used for the mount to the ceiling and attached to that hanging down to match the opener. Previously, the opener was mounted on brackets that were about half the gauge as the pieces on the roof. After install, the gauges are the same. I'm extremely pleased with the product suggested, the work done, and my communication with the company. I'm pleased with the attention to detail, especially.

My nephew had gotten the door to work again before he came but I asked him to check it over and lube the rollers. He did a very thorough job. He fixed a sensor that was laying in pieces on the floor and gave me some maintenance tips. Then I had a coupon for 10% off, but he only charged me $60 instead of $100 because it turned out to be working when he arrived. Very fair, and unexpected.
