Description of Work: Replaced two springs and one door panel, also did a tune up. Overall, the service went great, the Sound Door team was easy to work with and very professional.

Description of Work: They looked at my garage door, opener and the track. Gave me good advice about what to replace it with when it does quit working. He did not try to sell me anything else and found nothing wrong. He performed general maintenance and grease the track which made the door less noisy. He also instructed me on how to do it myself. I was happy that he left a sticker with service date, maintenance done and room for the next service if needed.

This service was performed and both doors are running more smoothly & quietly, as a result. | |During their inspection, the technicians recommended (but did not push) that we replace the spring and bearings for one of the doors. This was not a surprise, as that door has had issues for years (it would not stay up on it's own in manual-mode). This added to the cost of our service, but it was necessary and the price was reasonable. | |The Sound Door workers were prompt, fast, and professional. We will definitely use Sound Door again for any garage service needs.

Description of Work: I bought one of the reconditioning specials on Angie's list and had the company come out for that. While they were there, they determined that the door I had asked about was actually in good shape but my other garage door which had been serviced only two years before was literally hanging by a wire! If they had not discovered it, we could have had an accident with damage to either a car or ourselves. I had also wanted to repair or replace the garage door opener. As it turns out, the opener was not worth repairing so Sound Door replaced the damaged wires on that door and came back a few days later to install a new opener for me. They applied the money I had paid for the special to the new service instead. I want to be clear, this was not a bait and switch situation. I saw the problem with the other door immediately when it was pointed out to me and there was no attempt to upsell or provide services I did not need on the other door.

Description of Work: Our garage door opener was acting crazy, and Sound came out quickly to service it, do a regular maintenance, and see if it needed replacing. I appreciate the advice, the price and there was no overselling. The garage doors are working great and when it comes time to replace or upgrade the systems, I am calling Sound Door.

Description of Work: My heavy wooden double door had a broken bearing bracket. I called John at Sound and he fit me into his schedule as I was leaving town for a vacation. When James the door tech arrived he found that the 16' bearing shaft had broken in two also and did no have all the parts for the repair with him. He came back the next day and finished the repair. He was very professional and did not spend time trying to sell me anything I did not need as a few other garage folks I have used did, it was refreshing. I would recommend Sound to anyone, a pleasant experience. The cost for two trips and parts and repair was very reasonable.
