Great! It is smooth, quiet, and consistent...as a garage door should be. Very pleased. He even put the sensors on opposite sides than they were before, so when the sun shines that way, it doesn't interfere with them. He had all the supplies with him, so no need to make a store run. He also replaced the seal strip on the bottom edge of the door.

It turns out we had a spring break on our two-car garage door late on a Saturday afternoon. Our garage door is very heavy and is not easily opened without the assistance of the garage door opener. I contacted Precision Door who thankfully was able to come out first thing Sunday morning to diagnose and fix the problem. The technician was prompt, personable, and knowledgeable. The technician recommended replacement of both springs even though only one was broken and also noticed that 2 hinges were broken as well. Charges included in the total invoice were two springs, two hinges, an environmental fee, and a service call/25 point inspection fee. An Angie's List discount was factored into the total invoice. I will definitely call Precision Door the next time we have a problem with our garage doors.

Turns out this company only sells their own openers. We should have gotten more bids, but failed to do so. Opener was replaced and door tuned up with a total of cost of nearly $1,000.00. Had asked technician about syncing it to my car and was told "the instructions are in the manual". They weren't and it just so happens that this particular opener doesn't work with my car's built in opener system (car is a 2009). I only discovered this after a fairly unpleasant exchange with the technician (who had already left) and after speaking to his supervisor. I would not have bought this opener had I even know that was a possibility.

Great! Worker showed up on time and got the job done. Worker was very knowledgeable about my older garage door opener, rollers and railing.

I was very impressed with the professionalism. He also educated me on my particular brand of garage door openers, as well as giving tips to extending the life of the 19 year old openers.

I am writing this review after a repeat visit was performed on the repair done. The capacitor they changed didnt fix the opener, and hence I decided to install a new garage door opener. The technicians are very professional. They know how to take care of their customers. They heard my concerns with the previous repair and addressed it the right way. I recommend this company for their customer service.

Workman was very nice and informative. Explained why he couldn't do something and left rollers he couldn't get in. Did the other door for the same price as the deal for one door. Recommended replacing springs but wasn't pushy about it.

The appointment was easy to get. The technician showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. He looked at the problem and listened to the fixes I tried making earlier to address the issue. There was not diagnosis performed. He replaced the capacitor thinking that it will address the issue. But the issue came back the same day after he left. Basically, changing the capacitor was not the solution to the problem. They charged me $90 for capacitor and $50 for the trip, but the problem is unresolved after then visit. Then i called customer service and they sent the second technician right away the next business day. The technician suggested replacing more parts ( $250 per chip and two of them). Or, replace the unit at $499. That is outrageous price ( a.k.a. premium product by company) in my mind, when there are other providers who do parts and installation for $150 less. Now, i am thinking of replacing the unit with some other professional, because it seems to be right direction considering the bad experience I had with fixing garage door opener parts replacement. i am thinking of going with belt drive from my current chain drive.

Fixed what he could under the house warranty, so we only paid the deductible, and garage door is operating, so that's good. However, it is clear this company has very high prices, so we won't be using them for future work.

Was going to have them do a garage door "tune up" until the tech said it would take him only about 10 min--very cursory and suspicious. He said the door seal installation would take ~ 15 min. Total estimate for door seal, inspection and door tune up was ~ $330. Seems high to me for 35 min of work. Decided to look elsewhere.

Craig was very thorough and professional in giving us the estimate. He knew we were getting multiple bids and stated if they were close to contact them to see if they could match it. Another bid was less and when I contacted Craig he was able to match it. I was very happy as Precision door was our preferred company but dollars do matter. They arrived on time and performed as expected. I would definitely go with them again in the future.
