contractors are great. They are usually cheaper and have good service.

Purchasing was fine, but they dropped it down the stairs when they brought it, and then they wanted to bring it in. I don?t think they?re going to do that! Then they blamed me and my house on the problem that they had getting it into the house.

They sent a man like 70 years old and an inexperienced young kid. They did not prepare the refrigerator properly before they started up the stairs. So, they got up the stairs and realized they are not getting in this way, they had to go back down the stairs. Well, the poor kid couldn?t hold it, so they dumped it.

They wrecked my porch. Then the manager from the store came over and told me how it was all my fault, my rickety stairs, which are like everyone else?s in the neighborhood.  So actually, in the end, they had to replace my porch and I got me refrigerator from Costco instead. 

Lowes said they would still deliver me a refrigerator to my garage. I said, ?well, funny thing, I use my refrigerator in the kitchen not in the garage. I can?t have a refrigerator in the garage! I said, now bring it into the kitchen! They said, ?well, somebody else will have to do that!? I said, ?well you know I am paying you to bring it into the house and if you can?t do that I can?t buy it from you!? They gave me a refund. It didn?t look bad, but they basically threw it down the stairs. 

Their price was just like everyone else?s, they had the price right. They were very responsive, but in a very negative way. Anyone would be able to come and see that, that was not my fault that they threw it down the stairs. It?s their fault cause of who they sent to deliver. 

They are a decent hardware store. The one in Everett doesn't have as much as it should have in terms of variety of things that you can get at other Lowe's stores. It is a big box store and you get what you get. I probably use them weekly. I spend at least $200-$300 a week. They provide a decent service and they provide a lot of things in one location but they are a big box store. I don't get service and there is not much help there. If they don't have it, they don't have it and that's it. Their service could be improved.

I liked them and the installation. They did a great job. They matched the price to other estimates that I had gotten.

Had Lowe's do a roofing job for us about 2 years ago. It was a nightmare dealing with them, the roofer, and the credit department. Calls weren't returned, people didn't show up, etc. Roof was finally completed but then Lowe's is out of the mix. I swore I wouldn't do business with them again but called them recently for a deck quote for 2 decks. The guy who showed up had the attitude that he could care less and, in fact, quoted us double what anyone else had quoted. My husband quickly surmised that if they didn't want the job - how do they NOT do it? Overbid. That is truly poor, poor business. We were also interested in a kitchen remodel quote but not now. Today I went to this Lowe's to look for a nut for a screw we were trying to fit. Again, the "customer service" person i.e., the gal taking care of the key stand - seemed like she could care less whether she helped me or not. When she couldn't find the nut she literally almost threw the one I took as an example back at me and told me "I have no clue and no idea where to tell you to go." Well, I have a good idea where to tell Lowe's to go. NEVER, EVER, EVER use this place. Go to any of their local competitors, which I did, and it was much more pleasant and I got what I wanted right away and without the attitude. In addition, this place seems to be women averse because it appears to me that when I go in there their "customer service" people ask everyone if they need help except me - a woman. In addition, you can stand in front of one of their desks for who knows how long before they acknowledge you. Again, because I'm a woman? Do not waste your time with this outfit.

We were a little hesitant to use them, but we were very happy with them once the job was done. The work cost us $3000. We will use them again in the future.

It was an excellent experience with them. They had very helpful staff, had what we were exactly looking for so they had excellent selection. The also had very good prices on their tiles and the staff was very helpful in giving information on installation and related products that we needed. I would give them A's across the board and would definitely use them in future.

We got free installation when we purchased our dishwasher from Lowes. They did a really good job with helping us pick out the right dishwasher for our needs. They were good about answering our questions. I thought the price was really good for what we got.

I use the store all the time. They took one day to put in the garage door, but I wouldn't recommend the installer.

THE QUALITY OF THIS FLOORING IT TERRIBLE. THERE WERE SO MANY CHIPS IN THE FLOORING. THE FLOORING IS NOT DURABLE, DENTS EASILY, AND WARPS. THE BEST THING ABOUT THE FLOORING IS THE COLOR. THAT IS IT. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR HOUSE BRAND OF FLOORING.

THE SALESPEOPLE WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. USING LOWE'S FOR SEVERAL HOME PROJECTS, WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH THEIR VARIETY OF PRODUCTS. WE ALSO LIKE THEIR CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OUR HOUSE.
