The Cleaning Authority

They called a couple times during the day and changed the time they were supposed to come. Then once they arrived, we went over the official list of all rooms which they were supposed to clean and made sure it matched the list given to us by them during preliminary walk-through. They spent just under 2.5 hours doing about half the work - no kitchen, left the big bathroom, no floor mopping and then said they were finished because they fulfilled their 2.5 hour quota. We argued that we had an agreement about all the areas they were supposed to clean for the fixed price (regardless of time). After more arguing with their customer service, they refused to let us talk to the manager who originally made the agreement. Then the cleaners said they were told to leave by their manager, and when we asked to talk to the manager, the cleaners pretended like they were calling her and instead quickly ran out of the house, got into their car and drove away! They lack professionalism, lack integrity, and lack any sense of customer service. "The Cleaning Authority" should change their name to the "The Cheating Authority".

The initial clean which was more than the bi-weekly amount went well. However after that the cleaning quality went down quickly. Different people came at different times, they missed obvious areas of dust over numerous services. They came to clean while my mother was visiting and she witnessed the cleaners spending more time surfing the web with their smart phones than cleaning.

Worse of all - they broke 2 of my favorite pieces of glass art - and never told me about it. I had to approach them to tell them what had happened. When the first one happened they said they would get me a select team to clean my house going forward. Which made me wonder what I was getting before.

The next time they broke a very sentimental piece - again - the cleaner who broke it never left a note and tried to "hide" the piece as if I wouldn't find it. When I contacted the company they said they would not pay for the broken piece - and instead sent me some epoxy for me to try to fix it myself (which didn't work) and then sent me a "replacement" piece of glass art that was okay - but not anywhere near the quality or beauty of the original piece and does not have any sentimental value. I fired them immediately after this experience.

They do a very good job.  They are very thorough, courteous and efficient.  They come in, get the job done and leave which is exactly what I want them to do.

First off, they were 45 minutes late. Then they did not clean well - they missed really obvious sections of dust. They did not mop the whole floor - you could see where they stopped. Also, they broke stuff. Plus, since they were here, I have been missing some jewelry.

I have had this cleaning service biweekly for several months now and they are by far the best I have ever had! I have had many different cleaning services over the last 10 years and this company is amazing. Not only are they incredibly thorough but they are cheaper than all the other companies I have used. They are very professional and they send you a receipt via email after every cleaning. When I have asked for special services they go above and beyond what I asked for and still do a great job on the rest of the house. They have made my life easier and I highly recommend them!

I liked their idea of cleaning the total house with a focus each week on a different area of the house like deep cleaning the kitchen. After several weeks of inconsistent service and cleaning, I fired them.
