3/26/13 I took a 2.5” HD I'd removed from a laptop in to see if he could recover data. I’d tried myself with external drive & couldn’t. 3 days later I stopped back, he said it didn’t work. Charged me the $40 we'd agreed that it his 'checking' would cost, I paid & asked for drive, he couldn’t FIND IT! I never did get it back. 2/17/14 I went in to buy a PSU (power supply unit) for a desktop pc (it's the only store close by and one of two or three carrying any kind of computer build supplies anywhere in the area for 150 miles or so). The owner, Guy (or so he'd said on previous visit) offered to take a look at my pc BEFORE I bought & installed myself a new PSU. As I watch, he hooks HIS tester PSU & confirms PSU bad. Plugs in a monitor & UH OH, NO MONITOR & UNIT WON’T BOOT UP (per Guy)! I leave unit & he agrees to call me later with ‘estimate’ for fix or price for a new pc he'll build. When he calls he says PSU, Mother Board & 1 of 2 video cards are bad. About $600 to FIX IF HE CAN GET THE PARTS (it is an older pc) & NEW just shy of $1,000. I told him I'd come in the next morning to talk with him. Picked up 2/18/14 & went home, installed new PSU purchased elsewhere for $39. VOILA. System booted right up, all 3 monitors running from the 2 on board video cards (could run 4 monitors) & system works PERFECT! THIS GUY’S A RIPOFF BIG TIME. While he didn’t try to charge anything for his misdiagnosis (at minimum) he did TRY to charge me $600+ to repair my pc or $1,000 for a new pc built with two video cards & Win7 so I could still run my 3 monitors, neither of which can you get it you buy out of the big box stores.

Job requested was a simple laptop keyboard replacement. Repairman installed new skeleton keyboard that had no faceplate or protective backing, both of which were on the device when turned in. I could actually see the motherboard through holes in the keyboard. The repairman told me just to avoid spilling anything on it. I explained the repair was unacceptable. He refused to correct it. I had to pay for it in order to take possession. I immediately took the laptop to a second repair facility to correct this improper repair. The combination of bad attitude and lack of professionalism made this a miserable experience.
