Description of Work: Attempted to unclog a storm sewer - which I was told in advance was unlikely to be successful because the cause is often a collapsed pipe or the pipe layout will not allow the "snake" to make the turns - the later was the case. Nonetheless, a good effort as usual from Top Gun. They discounted the price since they were not successful.

Description of Work: Repaired a burst pipe in a crummy, cramped, dirty crawlspace. The guy went under thee and fixed it without blinking an eye and it was done. Surprisingly reasonable bill - for a plumber.

Description of Work: Our home uses a sewer pump to get waste water to the sewer main. When it began to have issues we were in urgent need of help to diagnose the problem. I originally called one of the major plumbers in the area who advertise extensively on radio and TV. Based on my experience with them I can now understand how they are able to do that much advertising. Their estimate to fix the issue was through the roof. After the sticker shock I said thanks but no thanks and decided to shop around. I'm glad I did. Top Gun Plumbing was a pleasure to deal with over the phone and understood the urgency of our situation. Without a functioning sewer pump we couldn't use any water in our home. Soon after the call they dispatch a plumber to our home. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He looked at the pump, determined it was beginning to fail, and after a few phone calls gave me a reasonable estimate for replacing it. After sourcing and picking up the replacement pump, he installed it quickly and correctly. He even went a step further and improved the neatness and weather resistance of the wiring by placing things in a proper housing which clearly hadn't been done when it was originally installed 10 years ago. Overall I was very satisfied with his work and feel it was done with a high degree of quality and attention to detail. I will use them again without question next time I have plumbing needs.

Description of Work: We had a broken pipe under ground between the street and our home. They replaced the entire line. A patch job was subject to possible failure, while a new line was not. We were very pleased with Top Gun and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Jay was amazing. Friendly, prompt, and very clear about my options. He gave a free estimate of the job and recommended me to shop for my faucet elsewhere to save money. He always called first when he was on his way, well within the time estimate. The person on the phone was also very patient with me and my multitude of questions.

Description of Work: I could hear water running, then I got my water bill which was much higher then normal so I thought I had a leak. They came and checked things out and found the leak. The estimate was reasonable so I also had them replace an outside faucet that leaked. They finished and turned the water on then found a second leak, They fixed that too and didn't charge any more that was GREAT!!

Description of Work: I called Top Gun because I had an elevated water bill. On the phone the gentleman asked me to go check the water in the toilet tanks for one that might have the water level too high, thereby causing a continual overflow of water. I did find one, he talked me through fixing the problem on the phone. He was patient with me while I corrected the problem. I will certainly call them whenever I have a plumbing issue.

Description of Work: Topgun responded quickly to my email. Al came out with a couple of friendly crewmen today(18 hours after email-which I believe to be fast considering I sent it before I went to sleep). Checked to see if we had a leak. Turned off main, watched meter. Listened to main with device to hear if there was a flow while main was off. Al said there was no sign of a leak. The Good news: no new main needed. NO CHARGE. The bad news is we just have crappy city water. I believe that Al and his crew have high integrity. I will definitely refer family and friends to them over the coming years.

Description of Work: replaced old, leaking kitchen faucet. we purchased the new faucet from a hardware store and Topgun plumbing installed it. Also we had the change our washer plastic hoses with metal hoses. The faucet work was somewhat complicated due to rusting metal parts of the old faucet but Jay? had all the right eqiupment to complete the job. Overall very clean and accurate plumbing job.

Description of Work: i called Al at Topgun plumbing to describe an issue I am having with a minor water leak eminating from one or our upstairs bathrooms. After hearing my explanation, Al said he felt like the issue was related to a failed wax ring around one of the upstairs toilets and told me what he would do to troubleshoot the issue and when he could get out to fix it. Based on his feedback, I was able to verify that he was correct and fixed the issue myself. When I called him back he was very professional again and even gave me a few more tips on making sure the issue was addressed correctly. Even though i paid him nothing - he wouldn't accept it even though I offered - he took the time to help by providing FREE advice. I would definitely recommend Topgun and won't hesitate to call them to address my next plumbing "disaster". Thanks Al!

Description of Work: We contacted Jay for an emergency situation of replacing our kitchen water shut-off valves and received accurate instruction on the phone, free of charge, to have the issue resolved. Thank you Jay! You are the choice of our next plumbing related the project!
