Their bids on all the projects were very fair and the kitchen project was almost $200 less than another plumber had bid. He immediately identified what needed to be done with the shower drain and confirmed before beginning that we were OK with the color of drain plate that he had (it was different than the one being replaced). He finished both the shower drain and hose bib in about 2 hours, left no mess and gave us some additional helpful information on all the projects discussed.

I was very concerned about this situation since past problems had required going far into the sewer line to clear. Looking for a service provider I was very impressed that Topgun had 52 Angies list reviews which were all "A" in all catagories. My call was answered right away by the owner who was agreeable to a late afternoon appointment (requested so I wouldn't have to miss work). He asked me to call again so their answering service could take address etc. details down since he was out of the office on mobile. So far great, then I got into 90 minutes of phone tag and frustration with the answering service taking my information but no one confirming the appointment. I gave up and started looking for another service but got a call from the owner who explained they were using a new answering service, apologized and confirmed the appoinment. Both the owner and one of his plumbers arrived right on time and were very pleasant to work with and knowledgable. They diagnosed the problem I had called in as only being at the toilet (vs. farther down the sewer line) but also noticed the sink draining slow. I was offered a reasonable price for clearing the toilet plus an Angie's list discount and they offered to clear the sink restriction for no charge as thanks for my putting up with all the phone / appointment confusion in the morning.

He went under the house, and was able to find the source of the leak and fix it right then. He then cleared out my drainage pipes running in the house. The end results where no more leak and no more drainage problem. The best part is they show up on site with all the equipment needed to do the job rite and get it done while at my house. He didn't have to stop in the middle of the job, to run and get any addtional parts.My experience was very good with them, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were good. They were responsive and they fixed the items promptly. They did it well, and I didn't have to be there while they did the job.

My phone call was answered promptly and emergency services offered. Someone came out as scheduled identified the problem, replaced the part, and fixed the water leak.

Our water heater went bad. We called Top Gun Plumbing and they replaced it the same day. This was the second time we used them. The first time was for a pipe that was leaking in the wall. The first time we called them was on Sunday for the leaking pipe in the wall and they fixed it the same day. The second time we called was on Saturday for the water heater and they removed it, obtained a new one, and replaced it the same day also. Very dependable and prompt service.

Available on a short notice, in and out, and efficient. I was also pleased with the price and he did a great job!

Called at 11:30 pm due to a massive leak from a broken seal on an upstairs toilet. They were incredibly pleasant and helpful at a stressful time. They rrepaired the pipe that was broken,replaced the toilet and we asked them to come back the next day and replace the other upstairs toilets due to they were all poorly made. I would highly recommend them!

They gave us a very prompt estimate that was reasonable and started about a week later. Both gentlemen were very professional, courteous, efficient and, performed high quality work. They also gave very good plumbing advice. Would hire again. We did ask for an estimate to install all of the house fixtures, approximately 2 months from now. They emailed us and were unable to provide a fixed estimate and instead would provide work on a time-and-materials basis at appoximately $140/hour which we thought excessive. 5 of the 7 estimates we received were fixed estimates for this work. The fixtures we are installing are not standard which may be why a couple of the estimates were not fixed.

Our main sewer line backed up into the house a few times and each time they came as quickly as they could. During the weekday, they showed up the same day and the most recent time was at 9pm at night and they came later the next day. Al is the owner and is very responsive and helpful. The third time we had a back up, he felt sorry for us and only charged $100 for the job. It usually costs $350+$75 if you have to have the toilet removed. Jay is a plumber who works for Al and he's great too. We also had them install a new shower valve and plumbing and then come back later to finish the job with the finish faucet, shower head and control. When they did come back, they also installed a new toilet shut off valve and didn't charge us since we had already paid for the finish work when they installed the valve so just gave that add on to us for free. They give an Angie's discount and Al remembered me each time and made sure to give me the discount without my having to ask. They are a great, honest, reliable plumbing company and you can hire them with peace of mind.

We had a leaky hose bib and once had a handyman attempt repairs. His fix turned out to be temporary, so we brought out a real plumber. TopGun came out in a large truck very soon after the call on a Saturday. Seeing the situation and hearing the story of previous repairs to this ~25 year old hose bib, the repairman recommended its replacement. He said the new ones are so much better designed, especially for protection from freezing in winter. I authorized the work, which he did expertly. The only reason I marked Price with a "B" is that I did not get competitive estimates. For the amount of time it took, it seemed high, but it might have been that I simply am uneducated about current plumbing prices.

I called Al at 8am, he arrived at the house a couple of hours later, and had completed the work by about 10:30. He was professional and very neat. Also, he not only showed me how to remove and replace the cartridge, he left another cartridge for when my other shower has problems. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Al King provided a bid for the wet bar and laundry room. The laundry room is a phase 2 renovation and will not be installed at this time. Al was very helpful and explained the installation issues and plan for both projects. He even helped me navigate the permit process by making calls to the City of Lynnwood and Snohomish County. The plumber, Jay, arrived promptly at the time we had scheduled. Jay worked efficiently and cleanly in my home and explained the installation as it proceeded. After the rough-in inspection I installed the cabinets and sink. Jay returned and performed the water hook-ups and drain installation for the sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. He thoroughly tested all the parts and ensured the installed items were working properly and there were no leaks. Jay cleaned up after himself before leaving my home.

The installation required two sessions. The first to remove and install on 1/16/10 for $208.05. Two weeks later, on 1/30/10 the cold and hot angle stops had to be replaced. They turned out to be defective causing a leak. Don't know why the part broke in less than two weeks. The second session cost $156.04.

We arrived home after being gone for a week to find the carpet soaked in one room. We joined Angies List in order to use the service and picked Top Gun because of the reviews. We were very pleased with the individual who arrived on time, seemed well informed, and was easy to talk to. He provided us with an estimate and described what he thought was the problem - a leak in the wall that would have also affected a 2nd room. BAsed on the situation he described, we thought his estimate was fair. As he described the situation we had the feeling that there could be a "best case" scenario all the way to a "worst case" scenario. I think the estimate was for a worse case situation, and I was a little surprised when we were charged the full amount when it didn't involve the "worst case" scenario, which is why I gave a B grade on price. It is possible that I misunderstood the situation and the "B" grade may be unfair. Also, he assisted us with another leak, and that may have contributed to the "full charge". We not only would recommend this company again, we have already recommended them to a friend. This is the best experience we've had with a plumber, after having had numerous negative experiences. We will definitely call them again if we need a plumber again.

We have had repeated problems with an original equipment grinder pump, a device which grinds sewage and pumps it up to the sewer system at street level from our house which is down hill. I called Top Gun, and they came out the same day. (A sewage backup into our home would have been messy and expensive.) Top Gun was great at assessing whether the unit required repair or replacement (the latter turned out to be the case), securing a replacement pump the same day, and installing it that evening. This required them to work late into the evening. There service was prompt, courteous, and effective. A few strong service encounter!

Moving day and we attempted to remove the previous owners water dispensing fridge. When we removed the fitting to the water There was no shut off valve visible. Had to go to crawl space to turn off water. Previous owner had put a hole in the water pipe direct to the fridge with no shut off. Al cam out and removed the pierced pipe, fitted a "T" joint were the hole had been and installed a proper housing with shut off valve behind the fridge.

Professional, timely, on quote, quality work and 100% clean up. 5 stars. Recomend highly.

Thought they were really good. The guy was on time and seemed very professional but he did not get back to me so the follow up was not what I was promised. Overall, I think the experience was very positive and I would recommend them.

Very well. They worked quickly and carefully, and left the bathroom cleaner, and drier, than when they started. We found Top Gun on Angie's list, called while we were on vacation and they agreed to come out the morning after we got back. They arrived promptly, examined the problem, determined that the leak was in the stop angle and replaced it, but only after suggesting that we call the previous plumber to fix their work. I explained that, based on reading Top Gun's reports I preferred having them complete the work. It was done in less than half an hour, the problem is gone, and we know they'll stand behind their work. We may have saved money if we had called the previous plumber back, but Top Gun's reputation was strong and they lived up to it.

We contacted several plumbers and Topgun Plumbers was selected because Al (the person who would bid the job) was easy to reach by phone, arrived on time, proposed a solution that was less expensive than other plumber's suggestions, and provided a very reasonable bid. They arrived on time to do the work and took less time than the original estimate. They even cleaned out the sewer line afterword, which was not part of the contract. We had a very positive feeling about the experience when they left and would certainly hire them again.

Al was straight forward, punctual, easy to work with, and professional. The only minor ding is that he could have reassembled the area around my irrigation valve better than he did. It's functional but not "as was". Overall I think we are very pleased as long as our next water bill goes way way down.

Very prompt and professional, dealt quickly with one fitting installed that was not secure and cheerfully handled the difficulty of entirely replacing toilet a second time when the first one had to be returned to the supplier due to manufacturing defect. Was not able to clear one floor drain that has never worked and did not charge for that time spent. Installed sink cabinet even though that was not specifically part of bid.

They came out for an hour minimum and also accepted our Angie?s List coupon, which made the price extremely reasonable. He fixed the leak quickly and then went and tightened something in the bathroom for free. The second time, they moved our pipes, put in our countertop, and sealed everything for us. They did a wonderful job and I would absolutely use them again.
