I was told on 7 separate occasions that my car "should be ready by X day." I felt frustrated as I was told that the repair would take no more than 5 weeks. It took them 2 months and 2 days to complete repairs. I could have had my vehicle back in 4 weeks had I gone with Haury's, Queen City Crash Champions, Diamond Bar Collision, Bistagne Bros, or a Porsche Certified shop. This shop is high density, not high volume. Overpromising, under delivering. Due to technician shortages, excessive volume, and/or other reasons -- the pace of repairs is slower than it should be. Poor workmanship (parts falling off). I had to replace my battery due to the damage they caused to the electrical system. I felt deceived and disrespected - my age should have nothing to do with the repair process or status of my car. Being told on four separate occasions, "well I know you're young but..." is condescending, demeaning, and ageist. They will be passive aggressive and hostile once you point out their bs*** ****

I was hit by another car who backed up without looking. The damage was to my right front (lights, front panel, body...etc). The work was estimated to be 50 hours. I picked up my car 6 weeks after dropping it off. There were delays due to unprofessional interactions between the shop and my insurance company. The shop would not let certain adjusters and kept submitting supplements causing delays. The insurance company (State Farm) stated that this fix cost $2000 above their estimate and would not authorize a $520 bill three times. So, the body shop says it is between me and my insurance. The insurance says it is between the body shop and me. The body shop refused to let my car go until I agreed to pay $520 above my deductible. After playing the blame game, they held me responsible. Ultimately the other insurance company (at fault) agreed to reimburse me after I pay for it. I have used this shop twice before when it was the preferred provider for the the insurance company. Apparently it is a mess now as several YELP reviews suggest. I would advice to stay away from this shop.

The staff and the owner, Rich were amazing!!! I dropped off my car when I was on my way to the airport for vacation and my car was done the day I got back into town. They ran into more unexpected damage when they started taking my car apart but they were able to get an approval from my insurance company and collected the funds and got the parts rushed during the holidays, which is typically impossible. Rich kept me in the loop on the status and I felt I was in very good hands. When I picked up my car it looked brand new and was detailed inside and out. I highly recommend this business.

great. I needed a ride home and the owner took me home. It's a family business. They work on very high end cars.
Recommended by my insurance folks.

They were great. I've used them before. They do quality work and we want to call them back if something's not working. They don't just do what you asked them to do, they will recommend what is really the best way and that may not be the highest cost way. They have my best interest rather than only money. They do little things like I asked him to go up in a ladder to do something and then it was a quick fix for him but he doesn't charge me for it. I just think they have a lot of integrity. They are very friendly and very professional.

I smashed the whole front bumper and broke a couple of head lamps. One of the doors was scratched and all the windows were dented and shattered. They fixed all of that - the vehicle looks spotless now. My overall experience with them has been excellent and I would use them in the future, if necessary.

I had used Bel-Red before, but went to a nearby competitor because the other shop (Bellevue Auto Rebuild) was a preferred shop of my insurance company. Unfortunately, once the car was determined to be an insurance total, due to the age of the car and cost of repair, they were unwilling to do the repair work, even if I paid out of pocket. Bel-Red was more than happy to do the work, gave me my preferred insurance repair rates and repaired the car at the same price the other company had quoted. They had hoped to repair the car without having to replace the quarter panel, but the damage was too extensive. This added weeks to the repair time to find and ship the part and weld it to the car. My only complaint about the job was that it took so long and I had to continually call to find out the status of the repair. I spoke with my service rep at the end of the job and told him the one way he could have made this a better experience was to call weekly (it took four weeks!) and give me a progress report. The work was excellent, and the average person would not be able to tell any damage had ever happened. The paint is a perfect match - even on a 15 year old red car - and I couldn't be happier (except, of course, if it had never happened in the first place...).

Bel-Red was recommended by my insurance company, though I did not file a claim for the repair. I chose them because of their location. My initial call left me with a good impression, and every step of the way I was impressed with the friendly professionalism and respect for my business. In answer to my questions, the sales rep took me into the garage and showed me how the bumper assembly was put together so I could better understand how it affected the overall safety of my car. I really appreciated that. The interesting thing is that Bellevue Auto Rebuild is two doors away and I was transferred to them by Directory Assistance in error when I called to verify that my car was ready to be picked up. The work was completed when they told me it would be, at the stated price, and the color match is excellent. The repair comes with a lifetime warranty, which I had not expected but certainly appreciate.

I could pretty much cut and paste from the member comments relating to Kyle although our ordeal lasted six weeks for a "one day job" (once the parts came in), according to Kyle. The employees at Bel-Red Auto are incredibly nice, but nice doesn't cut it when six "your car will be done" dates come and go, and then when we finally did get the car, it broke down two blocks from the shop (transmission). I'll cut them some slack for weather and power issues, but there is no excuse for continually making promises and not meeting them and then not calling the customer back. I knew very early on that a promise to call me would not be fulfilled. Bel-Red (specifically Kyle) -- please learn that it is far worse to set expectations for the customer and continually miss them than to state that you don't know when the vehicle will be complete. We make plans for auto rentals based on your estimates. Again, very nice people, but we could never trust Bel-Red Auto again.

The overall quality of the work was good- not excellent. Where I feel that they really let down and failed was in the time that it took to get my car finished and in their lack of communication with me about delays. On 3 different occasions they promised that my car would be done on a certain date. When I called on the given date to see if I could pick up my car I was told that it wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready for several additional days. My car was there for over a week before they even ordered the parts. When I dropped my car off with them I was told that the repairs would be done in about 7 working days. It actually took 20. I wouldn't have been so annoyed if they had told me that up front, or if they had called me when they knew that it wasn't going to be done on the dates promised. Kyle was the person working with my claim/repair. In my opinion he has a very unprofessional attitude.
