In every sense, we have been extremely pleased with the entire experience. Their salesman, Lyman Lorentzen was very professional, pleasant, and helpful both at the Tacoma House-and-Garden show and at our home. We very much appreciated his ?getting to the point? with our needs. We have had less-than-happy experiences with other companies that we contacted. The install done by the Sound Glass crew - Jacob, Coby, Craig, and Jerry was superlative. They were courteous, fast, efficient, and very detail-oriented - their cleanup was superb. We also enjoyed the banter amongst themselves. I have rarely seen a group of workers that get along with each other as well as this crew. My sense was that Jacob was the crew chief since he seemed to be the most experienced and was involved in giving advice and directions as the job progressed - all done in a respectful, easygoing manner with his crew mates. For once I can say I had fun working with a contractor crew. The entire was exceptional in every way! One of the reasons I chose Sound Glass was due to an article I read in the TNT awhile back. In that report, along with the company?s history and reputation, it mentioned how well their employees are treated by the president and management team. That was verified by what we experienced during our time with their employees - happy people do good work, and do so willingly.

I had multiple issues with this company starting with my order. They came out to take measurements and then did not call me back. I called them and they said they had to come out again to take measurements. After the second set of measurements I thought my window was on order and it would take 6 weeks. After 6 weeks no one contacted me so I contact them, they had lost my order. I specifically requested a Milgardt window. The order was finally placed and installation was scheduled. When they came to install it, the window was not the right size so they cut my window frame to fit the window. A couple months later when the handle to the slider broke I noticed that it was not a Milgardt, they had installed a Jeld-Wen, even though my invoice listed a sale of a Milgardt window. In addition, the window leaks. I contacted them to resolve the issue. The first time I called, the representative (Stan) was extremely defensive, and the conversation resulting in a response of 'what you have is what you get'. The second call did not result in any return phone call. My third attempt was via a registered letter giving a timeline for contact to resolve matter. I received a phone message a week before the deadline. I have returned the phone call twice now and no response. My next step will be to submit another letter giving a date for 'Resolution'. I fully expect I will have to take this to court.

I WAS REFERRED TO THIS COMPANY BY A FRIEND AND FELT THAT THEY DID AN AVERAGE JOB. SOME OF THE WINDOWS WERE NOT RIGHT AND HAD TO BE REDONE AND I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF SELLING THIS HOUSE AND NEEDED IT DONE IN ORDER FOR THE HOUSE SALE TO CLOSE.

WORK WAS PERFORMED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. ESTIMATOR ARRIVED AT PRE-ARRANGED APPOINTMENT TIME, INSTALLERS ARRIVED ON TIME DID A GOOD JOB WITH CLEAN UP. COST STAYED WITHIN ESTIMATE.
