Outstanding crew from start to finish - knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I had several trees and shrubs removed, other trees thinned, and, perhaps requiring the greatest skill, cloud pruning of several large pines and pruning of lace leaf maples. The guys arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left the property neat and tidy. They were neither the highest nor the lowest estimate that I received. I plan to have them back again. Thanks!

We were contacted through the HomeAdvisor app by Pacific Coast Tree General Contractors. The owner came right out and gave us a bid, we accepted and within a few days they were able to get a crew of 7 men to our property. The supervisor confirmed our wants before the work started then all the men went right to work. In about 2 hours we had 3 large trees trimmed and 3 medium sized bushes removed. They were very efficient, all the trimmings were raked up, chipped up and removed. We are VERY happy with the results. Thank you so much!

The sun was setting as they were wrapping up the job so, a few days later, they came back out and finished the job. It was refreshing to actually be able to get ahold of one of the owners (Sean) just about every time that I called vs. "just leave us a voice mail.". Sean is very congenial to speak with over the phone and the price they charged was clearly the best price of the 3 estimates that we had gotten. We would still like to receive a final bill reflecting what was done and that the $600 bill is paid in full.

Showed up on time. Even when the trees to be removed proved to be very hard wood and stubborn to cut, they kept at it until everything was gone. I don't think anyone expected the job to take as long as it did, or be as difficult as it turned out to be.

Responded promptly and gave a fair quote with some cost saving option. Job was completed in a week!

STAY AWAY from Sean, 'the boss'. His business card, and he himself, said he was a certified aborist. But during the work I asked a couple of simple questions, 1) Why is the growth on these trees stunted? 2) Do you know what is causing this apparent insect damage on this tree? He couldn't even guess and said he would ask a friend... never gave an answer. The initial quote was $4500 (he said he was giving me a 'special' they were giving that week. He was quite the smoothe salesman. When they finished, there was a tree left that I thought was discussed during the estimate. He said it was not, and he usually charges $500 per tree. A total of nine trees were removed for a final cost of $5000 - do the math, 9 trees at $500 per tree. Where was this 'special'. He said he would have someone come out the next day to remove the disputed tree. After several unanswered emails, it was about 10 days later. He did not contact me over that period, and when he finally did come over he said they had been very busy and couldn't get there sooner. The workers appeared to know their job and were doing it well... until lunch. Due to the landscaping, the job was going to be a challenge. Initially they lowered large branches by rope and worked as a team to ensure minimal damage ( some of which should be expected). However when they returned, they seemed like a different group. They obviously in a hurry and started dropping large rounds and branches destroying several schrubs. The final tree was being cut down in sections but the final cut was from the bottom and it was around 20 feet long. It created quite a canyon in the lawn and broke an underground sprinker section. It should have dropped in smaller sections which would not have caused any damage. I must however acknowledge the skill of the workers. If not rushed, the damage would have been minimal. One more thing, while dropping a large branch by himself, a worker hit and sheared off my area light that wss attached to a trre. The worker said he would Sean know and someone would be out the next day. A week and a half later, after no commu ication from Sean, I called him to find out what was going on. He said no one told him anything about it and he was furious and would find out who did this and make him come out and fix it right away. After another week or so I contacted him again. He said he was out camping and had forgotten all about it, again claming to have it fixed right away. I told him it needed to be replaced immediately because our backyard security was affected. I said if it wasn't fixed by the next day. I would have it replaced and would charge him for it. No one called, texted, or came by . I texted him and told him I had paid $100 to have it replaced and he needed to write me a check to cover it.

They did excellent work. The Price was great and they left our front yard cleaner then it was. all of the debris and more was raked up. Very knowledgeable and fast workers. Two of the Neighbors were so impressed they asked him to do work on their Property s.

â ¢ My husband and I hired this tree service to take down a 120 ft 22 in. diameter tree, they did an awesome job, cleaned up everything, they also did way more then what we asked of them. We will be calling on them again and definitely will recommend them to our neighbors and anyone else who needs information on who to call for tree removal. These guys were very courteous and fast and cleaned up fast. 5-star service for sure.

UPDATE: I received a return call from the owner, before his view of my post, to apologize. He scheduled an appointment to stop by and promised to complete the job as discussed. He has continued to follow up with me regarding any changes in our appointment. I will update the review after the follow-up service.
