Donna's Painting

I am very happy that I hired Donna's Painting. It had been years since any work was done on the exterior of the house: several windows had rotten wood, two small columns had rotted, the shutters were faded and did not match the door, and the siding and the foundation were very dirty and discolored. I called Donna's Painting to request a quote. Leticia and Miguel stopped by, assessed the house, and devised a clear plan that was reasonably priced. I scheduled the work to be done, and Leticia told me when the crew would arrive and what they would be doing each day. They completed all of the work as described in one week. The crew members were friendly and polite. My house looks as good as it has since I bought it. A neighbor complimented the work they did on my house and asked for their information while they were finishing up. I would definitely hire Donna's Painting again in the future and highly recommend them!

Even though Idid not use them as we were in a rush and the quote arrivds late, I did like the way they communicated and took the opportunity to provide a competitive estimate. I will be sure to get an estimate from them next time.

Donna's Painting provided excellent services. Leticia Ore was responsive in her communication. The painters were punctual, professional,and courteous. The work was done both efficiently and effectively. I would recommend this company for painting needs.

I was pleased at the professionalism from start to finish. Mrs Ore kept me informed of changes in the work schedule due to rain. They arrived on time, worked quickly and quietly and were conscious of my plants. I would use them again without hesitation.

Miguel and his crew were excellent. They were on time, friendly, courteous, hard working and accommodating. We are extremely pleased with their attention to detail and the overall quality of the work. We've always done our own painting, but it will be hard for us not to hire Donna's Painting in the future. We will most likely call them again when we get into our new house! I can't imagine another company doing a better job.

Miguel and his crew were very friendly and professional. I used the special offer: two men for one day. Leticia thought the description of the job would require another painter, and I agreed to a third painter at the special deal rates. The job still was unable to be finished, and they came back the following week for an additional cost. The service was prompt; communication with Leticia was clear. They attended to detail with the darker colored accent walls, trim, etc and vacuumed and cleaned everywhere when they left. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to neighbors.

The painters were able to move all the bedroom furniture and paint the ceiling and walls. In addition, they caulked around my crown moulding. In addition, they painted my master bath which required a primer coat plus two coats of the new paint. No issues whatsoever.

The communication with Donna's Painting was excellent.f and I was always informed of the steps taken during the process. The process took several days because of weather difficulties and also because the paint needed to dry between coats. In the past, my roof was painted without priming and it peeled badly within a year, In addition, only one coat was applied by past contractors. .Donna's Painting took the time to make sure the work was performed well and also make it long-lasting. No previous painter has ever educated me about the importance of priming a surface and not applying two coats of paint within hours of application. I will definitely use Donna's Painting again for any of my future needs. The cost of the service was a genuine bargain too given all of the prep work, attention to detail and multi-layer paint application. This company is superb!

For simply putting paint on walls this group is satisfactory. Unfortunately, for items that require the skills of a professional painter, such as painting wood trim, this group is utterly inadequate. They literally tried to paint wood trim with no surface preparation whatsoever. They painted over bare wood with no scraping, sanding, or primer at all - of course, the paint began cracking and flaking almost immediately. Their response was to complain that scraping or sanding or priming was an unreasonable expectation for a professional painter. I finally paid their invoice so that they would leave then had the entire staircase repainted. If your job requires anything beyond unskilled labor to paint pristine walls you should consider shopping elsewhere.

As for the coordination of the job, it went excellent. Leticia was very nice and professional and communicated the quotes well. As for the job, it went well and the job was completed quickly by a three man team. A little challenging with communication. We asked for the window sills to be painted but they were not done. We had taped areas where we wanted to leave the screw holes for the blinds and they patched and painted over them. Apart form these small things, the overall job was great and we are very happy. We would definitely use them in the future.

I have been looking to get one of the bedrooms in my home painted for over 6 months. I travel frequently so I often am not able to follow-up. But Leticia did an excellent job of following up with me, and putting up with many unanswered emails. She was very professional and I sincerely appreciated the way she conducted business. Once I asked for an estimate she arrived within a couple days and promptly provided an estimate. Their price was very fair and in line with other estimates I received. On the day of the painting, the painters arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. I work from home and even though they came in and out of the house frequently they never bothered me. They finished the job in less than a day, and I am very happy with the quality of work. I would highly recommend Donna's Painting.

Miguel and Leticia make a good team. I would highly recommend them. You get very good value for their services.

They did a good job of removing the wall paper in our entryway. We used a BIG DEAL for it, for 16 man hours (2 guys working 8 hours). The problem with this kind of deal is there no way to tell how much they'll get done based on time.

Fast quoting process, very competitive price, good communication by email and phone regarding questions about quote and rescheduling when the weather wasn't cooperating. Some paint got on the brick or siding in small spots, but not enough to complain. They cleaned up very well. I was very pleased that they seem to have re-caulked everything they painted against. I was also pleased that they were willing to do a little extra caulking on short notice.

Donna's painting provided outstanding service from the initial estimate request through the entire project. They responded immediately and had the estimate within a week. The estimate was detailed and their prices were competitive. They also provided estimated durations of each project and have met each completion date. They took care to provide protection of the floors and furniture and cleaned the work area at the end of each day. The house looks better than new, and I will definitely use them again.

The painters arrived on time, were very respectful and communicated with me directly about how they would go about completing the job. The used drop clothes and did not spill a drop of paint on the exterior brick or driveway. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave any mess at all. A very good experience. I would definitely use tDonna's Painting again.

Donna's painting did an excellent job painting our rooms over 2 days. They were meticulous and they cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. The price was a little more than I'd hoped to pay, but I'm more than satisfied with the work they did for us.

My husband and I are completely satisfied with the work. The workmen were not intrusive. They did there work in a professional manner and confined themselves to the area where they were working. They moved heavy furniture and put it back. They even took down some things we could not reach and put them back up. I highly recommend them and plan to use them again if the need arises.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out great. They set up on time, they cleaned up after themselves, and they did what we expected them to do. We appreciated that they showed up on time, it is a really tall stairwell, and they repaired stuff. They were clean and cleaned up after themselves. They worked the whole time, and the house looks good. The price was a good deal, and they were very responsive. I would use them, I am waiting for the next deal.

They were competent painters and did a really good job. They also cleaned up after themselves. However, there were some services left to be done as it was a fixed hour deal and I elected to finish the job myself because it was easy work.

Leticia was very professional. She fit me in ahead of schedule and keep me posted via email and phone calls. The workers were extremely professional, very detailed scraping all old paint chips, caulking all the windows and finally painted my entire siding and trim work in the back of my house. They also power washed my entire home for a little extra. The power wash was the best job I have had on my 26 year old house. The job was done finished on a timely manner with complete clean up. Hardly any paint chips anywhere and a fantastic job. Leticia kept me posted throughout the entire process and I have subsequently referred her company to two other friends who inquired about the great job they did. I would recommend Donna's Painting to anyone looking for this type of work. Get on their schedule before this company is completely booked! VERY PLEASED

Scheduling was a bit of a challenge, but the team that came and did the work was exceptional. The prep work was amazing - not a drop of paint anywhere it was not supposed to be. The work was flawless - no wall paint on any of the trim, cut-ins clean throughout. I was very impressed.

Overall: Excellent experience. Price/Estimate: received estimates from 4 painters. Donna's was by far the highest. However, applying Angies List discount, brought the price in line w others albeit still higher. Decision to go w Donna's was the thoroughness of the estimate. Everything agreed to and discussed was put on paper, leaving no questions about the service to be provided. Work: thoroughness of estimate was indicative of the work. Often times i would see the owner Miguel handling the finer details of the project (ie, the corner above the kitchen cabinets and ceiling). As with any job, there were some minor hiccups, but they were all quickly fixed when identified.

Donna's Painting was great to deal with in the beginning. They were polite and professional sounding. They did EXCELLENT painting work, WHEN THEY WERE AVAILABLE. However, we hired them to do a complete job, explaining from the beginning what rooms that we wanted painted prior to us moving in (kitchen area, laundry room, bathrooms, master bedroom) and that we could not have any painting done after moving in on the 29th. We were under the impression they could complete the project prior to our moving day, and were provided an invoice for the complete project. Halfway through the project we were informed they were unable to finish the project prior to our moving day due to other projects being scheduled. We would never have hired Donna's Painting knowing that they could not complete the work prior to us moving into the home. We should have been informed of this from the very beginning, as we would have planned accordingly and went with another company. We ended up being stuck with all of the paint and with finding another painter to finish the job. We would have done it ourselves, but were very limited on time. So unfortunately, despite their excellent quality of work, we found their scheduling to be unprofessional and would not reccomend using them.

Donna's Painting is awesome. They did such an amazing job. Showed up when they said they would and worked all day. The whole crew was super polite and respectful. There preparation was second to none. They protected every inch of my house before painting. I had at least 5 company's come out to give me estimate's before finally signing up for Angie's list were I found Donna's Painting. If your looking to find a company that you can trust and count on for all your painting needs for years to come, this is the one.
