Absolutely the worst service ever employees arrive late and leave trash along with no cleanup. Had a half of gallon of paint spilled on my staircase and uneven painted lines around the borders. Contractors were very unprofessional and never responded by in a timely manner to get jobs or estimates done. Stay away from DPS!!!

On short notice lead estimator Dan K. came to the house and put together a comprehensive cost estimate for the insurance company which was quickly approved. DPS started the work in a reasonable time frame and did a great job putting part of our basement back together. Therefore we asked DPS to give us an estimate on completely redoing our basement bath which was from the 1980s. Dan provided us with a quality estimate and did a superb job managing the project which was going on simultaneously with the restoration activity. We have now have a beautiful new tiled shower, with new tile floor. Only issue was the company that did the tiling and the carpeting had delays in obtaining needed items for the project. We would gladly work with DPS again!

DPS was hired by our HOA management company (so I don't actually know what it cost) to come fix some water damage on our ceiling due to a leak in our roof. Tim helped schedule everything very quickly. Tim was very accommodating of my schedule and wanted to get the work done in a way that didn't require me to miss a lot of work during the day. A gentleman by the name of Billy performed the work and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time every morning. Mr. Billy couldn't have more kind or professional and very clearly took his work seriously. After wrapping up on the second day, Mr. Billy said he wanted to come back on a third day because he thought there were a few places on the ceiling needed to be resanded and repainted. My perception of his work was that he truly cared about doing the job with excellence. I've asked DPS for a painting quote and haven't yet decided whether or not to hire them, but I have complete confidence in their work and would hire them without hesitation in the future.

Our introduction to DPS was when they came to survey the damage and begin the process of building an estimate of everything that needed to be done to restore our home. Building the estimate was a task that took them more than 2 weeks to get a first draft and it was fraught with inaccurate information - so much wrong information that the estimator was actually let go from the company. Throughout the 3-4 months that it took them to complete our restoration, there were at least 10 different versions of "the estimate" in which they would adjust the scope of the work over and over to make it more accurate as the project progressed. We initiated some changes ourselves and requested additional work be added in and most of that was handled on a separate contract for each piece of the project. It became difficult to work with DPS because the estimates became so challenging to follow. Because our insurance company was footing the bill, we felt a responsibility to oversee the budget and be sure we were not over-paying. With this in mind, we asked DPS and the flooring contractor for a cost breakdown of the floor coverings we had chosen to see if what we picked out was within the allowance given by our insurance. DPS referred us to the floor contractor. The floor contractor said we should get it from DPS. We asked our insurance company to intervene and make them give us the breakdown. DPS and the contractor never provided it. What they DID provide was to say that we needed a subfloor that would cost an additional $3k. Again, they refused to provide the breakdown. Ultimately we gave in and paid the extra money as they began to threaten that we were holding up the project if we didn't sign off and let them place the order for the material. In hind-sight I think they worked together to our dis-advantage and I wish that we had gone out on our own and gotten additional flooring estimates. I will say that our project was taking place under difficult circumstances, so it was hard to really enjoy the process or be happy about having workmen in our house throughout the winter. The quality of work and the finished project was great. Working with the men at DPS, having to hawk-eye the estimate myself and being taken advantage of with the flooring left us feeling bitter toward DPS. They had opportunities to provide the simple breakdown we asked for, but they refused and that seems very unprofessional.

We used DPS for a few projects at our previous house. We were very impressed with the quality and their professionalism. That's why it seemed like a no brainer to call them for updates in our new house. I called DPS in early September for an estimate to fix some drywall in the foyer from an air conditioning leak. We also wanted to do custom work to build a bookshelf and close off a bedroom to turn it into a closet. The estimators showed up on time and were very professional. One of them sent me an email with an estimate for one of the projects and we discussed some ideas over the phone for the other project. A few weeks later we were ready to start the project. I sent DPS an email to get a written estimate with the scope of work and price we discussed. A week and a half later, I did not hear anything back. My husband and I have a rule where we do not chase down contractors to give them our money. But, I broke that rule and called DPS due to our previous experience with them. I left a message to call me at my work number. Two days later, the estimator left a message on another phone and apologized and said he had been busy. I called back and left another message. Nobody called back. I left two more messages. In my final message, I told the receptionist I would appreciate a call back to say they don't want to do the work. She promised someone would call back by the end of the day. That was a few weeks ago.

I did like them a lot. I liked dealing with person who came out and gave us the estimate. He was very polite and very responsive about getting right back to my emails and answering all of my questions. It turned out great and everything looks great. I would use them again.

They did a very good job. My only complaint is that most of the workers spoke very limited English and the foreman wasn't always available. The workers did an excellent job anyway, though.

The entire process with this company was smooth and professional. The estimator was at my house the same morning I submitted a claim with my insurance company, and provided emergency service first thing the next day. As the insurance process ran its course, the emergency service repairs ended up staying on for almost 2 months, which is a testament to the quality in which it was installed. I can't rate them on cost, since most of that was worked out between them and they insurance company directly, but everything else was great. I was very pleased with the quality and professionalism of everyone in the company I dealt with. The estimator and project manager provided plenty of color and product samples to choose from. The installation team did a good job cleaning up around the house each night before they left, and working around plants and bushes around the house. Most importantly to me, they company did an excellent job of communicating throughout the entire process.

Their subcontractor took forever to order the tile. We picked 3 or 4 different different types and when we went to order it, it was $2,500 just to order it. They failed to tell us about the prices. They didn't include the price of shipping in the square foot price and the shipping came to over $600.

The DPS staff performed a quality job very quickly. They worked directly with our insurance company and made our experience as painless as possible.

The DPS staff was very efficient and skilled. Mike Muller oversaw our project. He is very concerned and conscientious about doing a good job. He saw to it that everything in the home was restored to our satisfaction. Initially they removed all the grout in the tile on the floor on the main level and replaced it. We discovered that the tiles had sucked in the smoke and were permanently stained so they replaced all the tile to our satisfaction. We were able to upgrade a few things in the remodel for a little bump up in money. This flexibility made us very happy and even more satisfied with the situation. We were able to make lemonade out of lemons so to speak, having had the fire. Mike was able to ensure that our windows were replaced to match the existing ones even though the manufacturer had gone out of business. This was no small feat to accomplish and it made a big difference to us seeing his concern to ensure that we were happy. He worked really hard to get windows made to match what we had in the house. Overall the work was well done. As always there was a and quot;punch listand quot; but everything was completed to our satisfaction. The attention to detail that DPS provides is far better than other contractors we have used in the past and we recommend no others to anyone other than DPS. If you want the work done right, fast, and efficiently to your satisfaction, choose DPS to do the job.

I initially called DryHome Roofing and Siding, Inc. who had a very high rating on Angie's list and they were recommended from friends as well. They could not come out to even an estimate until over three weeks from the day I called (3/10/2011). I then called my insurance company for a recommendation. Diversified Property Services Inc. went to my townhouse the same day I called them (3/11/2011) and gave me an estimate without me having to be present . They allowed me to pay via credit card over the telephone and not be present when the repairs were made which was great because I work very far from home. They came out the next business day 3/14/2011. They did such a good job of cleaning up the area they worked in that I had to really look to see that they actually came to my townhouse and repair the roof. The did not charge my credit card until they followed up with me about my satisfaction about the work. It was actually two weeks later before my credit card was charged. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would hire them again.
