Description of Work: Our neighborhood has a NO SOLICITING sign at the entrance. This did not deter the posting of door hangers on all the homes in the neighborhood. In addition to making the neighborhood look sloppy, it is an engraved invitation to burglars that nobody might be home. If employees of the company can't read,. do potential customers think they will follow other instructions? Caviet emptor

Description of Work: Steve's Mowing do my weekly mowing and are very reliable. They mow my lawn in diagonal patterns and change it each week - makes the lawn look very custom manicured! Their workers were very nice. Steve also did my mulching and tree bed cleanup. They had a lot of guys to clean up and lay mulch. My only regret is I didn't find them sooner!

 + -1 moreThey are very responsive and prompt. Someone always calls me back if I call with any questions. They will also do any extra work, if requested, like leaf removal, clean-up after a storm, and even mulching, if you want mulching done.
Description of Work: We pay Steve a monthly charge to come in once a week and mow our lawn. He will charge us a $238 charge if we want an aeration, seeding, and fertilization. The $238 charge is for a 6800 square foot lawn. So the charge varies, depending on the size of your lawn.

 + -1 moreIf it wasn't for the dogs barking, I wouldn't even know when they are here. The dogs have their own yard, so they are very careful about not letting the dogs out. They are quick, and they get the job done.
Description of Work: They come once a week every week. Even when it rains, as soon as the rain stops they are out here. I don't know how they do it, but they do.

They usually call the day before they come so if I need anything special done, I can tell them at that time. They have always done the little extra stuff with no problem. If it is a bigger project, there is an additional charge.

 + 0 moreService scheduling is very inflexible - you must pay for weekly service even if the grass has not grown enough to be worth mowing during the period. Requests for environmentally friendly actions (e.g., set mower blades high, or mulch cut grass, do not bag) are accepted but not dependably executed. Shrub trimming done very superficially. The crew simply waves hedge clippers over plants and moves on. Specific written requests for specific trimming steps are not honored. Crew is generally good about cleaning up after mowing and edging work. ''Amount paid'' entry was for weekly mowing of 1/8 acre front yard.
Description of Work: Mows lawns, mulches & fertilizes. Puts down weed killer, insecticide and lime. Trims shrubs.
