The work was done to a very high standard. There is no noticeable difference between the wall before the damage and the repaired wall. They went the extra step to make sure things in the closet were covered and did not get covered in dust. I plan to use this company to do some more work in the future.

Victor was courteous and professional when talking with him on the phone to give me an estimate. The worker who did the repairs did an excellent job.

It was great. I would recommend them. They had a schedule and then they realised that i had purchased it through you and then they took care of it.

Great experience. Victor did the initial inspection and sent the service estimate, while Arnoldo performed the repair. Both men were punctual and professional, and the work was completed in one visit. Price quoted in estimate was price paid for service.

Shulton was awesome about extending the date since I mistakenly missed the expiration date, and was great with follow-up to schedule the visit. Unfortunately it took a lot longer to get the appointment since I had other major work done in the middle of the time period. When I finally got the work scheduled, the worker arrived on time. I showed the worker a large area (garage) that needed drywall installed but no taping, and a very small area in a bathroom near an outlet and countertop where a repair had been made. I also had other work in other areas of the house. There was other work in other rooms of the house (one where drywall had already received a couple mud coats, and another where the drywall was screwed in but no mud had been done yet). The garage and bathroom work was done very efficiently, only about 2 hours, so we had plenty of time to devote to the other projects. Unfortunately this did not make the worker happy as he proceeded to explain that since I had only shown him 2 spots initially, he wasn't required to do the work, especially in the one area where mud had already been applied. His answer: "we don't do any work on top of others' work." Also "some people I have done this special for, maybe it only takes me 30 minutes, but that's all I do. That is it." This was in direct contradiction to my original discussions with Victor, where I had had agreement that I had multiple spots around the house and we should plan on just working until the 4 hours was up) but my answer wasn't good enough for the worker and he became agitated. After a few minutes of arguing, he finally called Victor and was apparently explained that he should do the work. So on we went to the next portion of the job. Once completed, still about 35 minutes less than the 4 hours purchased, he took me through each location. He explained that each of the 3 areas was paint-ready since he had done a diligent (my word) job of light skim and sanding. Unfortunately, it was clear upon inspection that there were drops of dried mud on the baseboard in one area, he didn't bother to even remove the switch plate where he was mudding so that created a line which now needs to be sanded, and there was dried mud along the top of (and of course, now BEHIND) the vanity backslash in the bathroom that I had to chisel out with my own mud knife once it dried later on. Despite him explaining that the work was paint ready, it's not close to paint ready, and will definitely require both sanding and possibly another skim in areas. I also wish that clean-up was a little better - he could have at least gotten the mud off the surrounding areas. I was disappointed that despite how great the flexibility was on the deadline, and the great & regular follow-up to get the work scheduled, the work itself did not meet very high standards. I was disappointed that there was resistance to spending the full 4 hours that I had purchased (not from Victor, but from the "boots on the ground" guy) and I was frustrated at the end when I was asked to reimburse the wrong amount for drywall purchase (which I knew I had to pay for, but 2 sheets of fire-rated drywall do NOT cost "a little more than $37"). I asked for a receipt and after several minutes of searching, finally produced it (it was a little more than $24).

The service provider was punctual and professional taking care to cover surfaces near the work area. The work was of good quality although they left some of the final sanding to me as it had to dry out first. I would've expected them to schedule another time to come back since the whole job didn't take up the full time of the Angie's List Deal. I think if this was a full price service call, they would've completed the sanding too.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and the deal itself did not work out that well because they could not really finish the job because the compound they used on the drywall had to dry. It was a really small job. Maybe they told me over the phone and it just was not clear, I don't l know. I had to pay somebody else to come out and finish the job. I did not really feel that it was necessarily their fault that they could not finish, but under the circumstances the whole thing did not work out that well. The one guy who did all the communicating was very nice and answered all of my questions about some possible future jobs and was actually very helpful. I would possibly consider using them again, but the drywall was in a closet and it is not anything you can really see on a daily basis so as far as the quality of the work I think it is fine, but I have not really looked at it that carefully since they finished it. It did not turn out to be a good deal because I felt like I was paying them for work they could not really do -- that they did not finish. There was plenty of time, it was just the issue that it had to dry. I did spend a little more because I had to pay for the piece of drywall, but it was only about $25. My issue is not with them, it is with the whole timing.

Purchased via an Angie's deal. Work done was acceptable. Only a few very minor defects that weren't worth asking them to come back to fix. Would consider using them again, especially for the price.

Very prompt and quoted price was cheaper than 3 other local bids. I was initially worried because Shulton actually did more repairs than we asked for (they did additional repairs to garage ceiling, etc), but didn't ask for more money and they knew that these repairs were beyond the scope of the project. We provided the paint cans with color codes, I don't know it if it was enough paint or not, since materials were included in the price. The ceilings look great and you have to look VERY closely to see repairs from dog damage (they were able to use wood filler, other vendors said they would have to replace the entire wood piece, etc). My only negative is that we had a lot of paint dust around the house, not sure if that is avoidable or to be expected. We have multiple projects that we will use them for in the near future, mostly interior painting.

The guy called me and when I told him we had some drywall cracks we wanted repaired, he said I needed to have our foundation checked first b/c if it was a foundation problem, he would repair the cracks and they would return. He would come out after the foundation check. Husband said all he wanted were the drywall repairs done, NOT a check of our foundation. Since we never had the foundation checked, the drywall cracks were never repaired.

Arnoldo did a great job patching the plaster in my living room and along one wall of the dining room. He is an excellent and experienced worker who took great care achieving a professional finish on his work. I definitely recommend him!

They did a great job repairing two drywall patches I needed done in the laundry room ceiling. It is a textured ceiling and the repair was unseen unless you were looking for it.

Scheduling with Victor went well. The crew of two arrived on time. Although, communication was an issue, one spoke no english, the other broken. I had purchased all the material for the job. I showed them what needed to be done. I wanted a rounded corner in the small hall and had the required corner bead. The lead guy told me they couldn't do it......didn't know how. Fortunately, I had a stadard corner he could use. Lead sent the other guy to patch the family room. He did a good job but, I didn't discover to lated that he had knocked over and broke the glass in a family photo....Back to the hallway....long story short the guy charged me extra $60 to stay 45-60 minutes to finish the mudding, not including any sanding! We ended up cleaning and finishing the job ourselves.

The gentleman from Shulton was very polite, punctual, did excellent work. He cleaned up after the job was finished and I felt extremely comfortable leaving him alone in my home while I was at work.

The job went fine. The worker had the materials on the truck and got started on time.

The project involved review of drywall work done in the basement by another company which I had fired. Corrections and additional sanding were done and limited to the time available under the special pricing offer. The work met my expectations.

Mr. Shulton did an excellent job in my dining room ceiling and went the extra mile by fixing a couple of holes in the powder room. He was polite, professional and leave didn't any sign that he had even had been there. Not a speck of dust or residue anywhere. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs drywall repair.
