Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto – We are a multi-generational family business that provides a full-service solution for all of your automotive and repair needs; ranging from tire replacement and inspections, to maintenance packages. Our story begins in 1984, when John F. Hogan Jr opened our first store in Leesburg, VA. John knew the importance of building relationships with partners and customers alike. He leveraged his history with Goodyear to establish Hogan & Sons as a direct dealer for Goodyear. Today, we remain one of the select few direct dealers in the country, and have expanded our geographical footprint, serving the communities of Fairfax, Falls Church, Herndon, Leesburg, Purcellville, South Riding, Sterling, and Winchester. Although our business has grown, we still value the relationships that we have developed over the 30 years we have been in business. We pride ourselves on providing a personalized relationship with each of our patrons, delivering high-quality workmanship and a customer centric approach that develops a rapport between our team of professionals and your family. I recently returned to the shop for the balance and rotation of the tires i had purchased. I also requested them to check on the status of my vehicle's brakes to determine when that service would need to be done. The rep said it would be about an hour, and it was exactly that. When he was filling out my invoice and information, he advised that the technicians found that there was a leak in the rear axle that was causing oil to leak and damage the brakes on that wheel. They provided me with an approximate quote for the repair of the axle seal, rear brakes, parking brake, and labor. I will be taking my vehicle to the dealer for those needed repairs only because I paid extra for service/coverage from the dealer when the vehicle was purchased. I appreciated the honesty and information when they found the issue with my vehicle. I don't believe the quote was overpriced in any way, if anything, over cautious and that is very appropriate when dealing with drivetrain and brakes.
I will continue to use this shop for maintenance of my tires for sure!

"Hi [Member Name Removed] - I apologize on how long it has taken to respond to your original inquiry. However, I would like to follow up on your review that you posted on Angie's List. I am sorry to hear about your experience at our Herndon location. Our goal is to provide excellent service from the moment you walk into the door through the completion of the work. Your vehicle, at the time of service, had over 200,000 miles on the odometer. Previously, the vehicle was brought into our shop, for vacuum seal leaks. The problem, upon the second visit, was unrelated to the original service. The new issue was due to a faulty PCM, which was causing the check engine code to illuminate. Hogan and Sons warranties and backs all prior service. However, if the problem is unrelated to the original service, we would have to charge for the additional service. If you have a moment, we would like to speak to you about your service visit. We depend heavily on customer feedback, and would like to take a moment on how to improve our service.
