Marshall's Lawn and landscaping are the BEST in the business, they performed my yard work request with the utmost precision. I have been using there services for 2 years now and will continue to do so. They gather my leaves in the fall and the yard always looks perfect. I purchased the deal online. I put in suggested dates and times for when they could get in touch with me. I tried to call them several times but no response. Several weeks later, I called him. He claimed that he had never been notified of the purchase. He said he set up the offer when he was slow, but now he was very busy. He said he would honor the deal, but was booking 6-8 weeks out. I did not want to wait 8 weeks just to be scheduled so I canceled the deal. I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

My realtor uses this company for lawn service. She was kind enough to give us a credit to use this company for lawn service as part of a gift for buying a house from her. I called David Marshall and he came out to look at my lawn. When David arrived, we looked over the lawn and he stated he could get a crew out the following Monday. I also asked him to deliver a quote via email on weekly or monthly maintenance. The crew showed up on time and completed the work within the hour. The quality was not good. The back yard doesn't even look like it was mowed. I am going to have to mow it myself this coming weekend. The front yard was better but still not great for the amount of money they charge. I feel bad that my realtor is going to have to pay this guy. It was definitely not a good impression. David did deliver the quote as promised but it was very pricey. There is a guy in the neighborhood that does several neighbors lawns and I am going to go with him. Its nothing fancy so, no fancy pricing. Just a good lawn service.

David Marshall and his crew arrived on time and cleared out two large beds. The request was to trim the overwgrown holly bushes but whew he evaluated them, David said they were over-invested with aphids, aphid droppings, and other insects. Attempting to save the bushes would have been a futile waste of time and resources. Instead, David and his took the bushes (roots and all) out and weeded the beds to provide a clean slate for future development. David also provided a plan of action for the futture development of the beds. He was VERY helpful, worked hard, and finished on time. He would certainly be a candidate for future work once we have figured out what and when we can move forward. I would recommend him to friends and neighbors without reservation.

I want to start off by saying that I have had the worst luck with service companies. Calls aren't returned, appointments aren't kept, work is shoddy or takes much longer to complete than promised, and there are sometimes extra charges. I've been disappointed many times, But I needed some yard work done and didn't want to tackle it all myself. So I took a chance. I purchased Marshall's Lawn and Landscape deal of 8 hours of yard work (one person, 4 hours for 2 people, etc) for $199, plus disposal fee. David Marshall contacted me within 24 hours and we were able to quickly arrange a date for the work. We communicated through Angie's List over the next 2 weeks and my questions and comments were always answered within 24 hours. David and his crew showed up on the agreed upon date on time, looking neat and professional. As we walked around my yard, I gave him an idea of what I was planning on doing with the space and what I needed done. He listened attentively and asked questions, double checking to make sure he knew what I was asking for. I had a long list of things I wanted done (30 year old boxwoods trimmed, a tree at the end of the driveway pruned, and 9 bushes removed) and didn't think it would all be accomplished in the time he had. I was surprised! My boxwoods have never looked better and every bush was removed - even the root balls! The holes were filled in, and the ground was raked and evened out. One of the bushes was actually a very small, overgrown tree and, although he couldn't remove the stump, he told me how to kill it quickly and easily. Everything was cleaned up and, except for how nice my boxwoods looked and the cleared space next to my house, I couldn't tell they'd been there. If I had to suggest an improvement, I'd ask that a confirmation email (or text) be sent the day prior to the service. This was one of the most professional companies I've every dealt with and I'm very happy with Marshall's Lawn and Landscape service. I will definitely be using them again.

Great work as always. I called David this morning to ask about plowing me out. I'm handicapped, so I can't do it myself. David said he was very busy working on plowing parking lots for his commercial clients, but he would try to squeeze me in. A couple hours later he was here and did a fine job. I have used Marshall's Lawn and Landscaping in the past for mulching, leaf removal and grading. We had a tree removed and that contractor did not do a very good job leveling the ground after the stump removal. David came in and graded the area, seeded it, covered it in straw and put a silt fence around the area (at my request to keep the dog from digging in it) We have been very happy with everything he has done for us.

We are very pleased with Marshall's. They come weekly - or more often if needed - for grass cutting, small tree and bush trimming, weeding, mulching, leaf clean up, overseeding, and fertilizing. We've also had them remove a tree and replace plantings as needed. David does a great job and is responsive to feedback or any issues. We've used them for a few years and will continue to use them.

I first tried to schedule mulch service from one of the most popular companies listed on Angie's List. Upon contacting them, I found out there would be a two-month wait for the service as they are so busy with work. They did give me the name and number of this company, however, and said I could get the service much more quickly with them. So I called Marshall's Lawn and Landscaping Service instead. I talked with a very pleasant member of the family, who discussed my needs and was able to set up a delivery within a few days. I called a couple of days later due to a scheduling conflict and re-scheduled the delivery with no issues whatsoever. They came on the appointed day and performed the work very professionally. It took eight yards of mulch, which is the minimum they will deliver. My flower beds looked absolutely gorgeous, after less than three hours of work. This would have taken my husband and myself twelve yards of mulch and three days to accomplish by hand. The crew was most accomodating and pleasant, and I am pleased to recommend them highly to anyone who wants a similar service.

I was very disappointed. I had planned to let him seed the yard but when he didn't follow through with weeding, I didn't bother to hire him for any additional services.
