Glen was amazing to work with. He refinished our wrought-iron storm door, put in a new iron railing, and refinished the concrete on the stoop. It looks great, price was excellent, and easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend Fairfax Contractors and would work with them again.

They came out on a Sunday to review the scope of the job. I thought they showed a great initiative. So far the first railing is up and it looks beautiful. One neighbor came over to get their business card. I would recommend Fairfax Contractors.

I submitted a detailed review to Home Advisor on Sunday, July 2nd, so I will be brief. Fairfax Contractor was outstanding in all categories of the job: - site visit, project assessment, listening to my concerns, developing proposal - project was scheduled to meet my needs; start date was accelerated when another job finished early - workers were professional, experienced and hardworking - job was completed in several days, as promised (note a week or more as I had imagined My wife & I are thoroughly pleased with the final product. I highly recommend Fairfax Contractor. They are on the top of my list for my next project.

Working with the owner, all of my questions were answered and minor problems that became apparent after completion were remedied. Communicate with Glen is easy, and he makes sure that the job gets done right. I was also offered a handful of cheaper options for my problem that I had already confirmed would not work. Upon explanation Glen agreed to do the larger job I requested, but at about 1/3 less than the next most expensive contractor.

I got bids from two contractors to repair the joints in our flagstone patio. Fairfax Contractors was not only the best price and reasonable, but they delivered as promised and on time. The repair included power washing our entire patio and they did a great job. In addition, there was an expansion seam in the patio that needed repair that they did at no additional charge even though it was not in the contract. Very personable sales person (Mike) and owner (Glen). I highly recommend them. They also warrant their work for a year.

They did a great job repairing several cracks less than 1/8 and repainting the foundation. They were fast and cleaned up after themselves. I will probably call them on a brick porch repair I need.

I called at about 10 am and at 1pm Dave came by. We told him what we needed as my wife needed the raillings going down the front steps and sidewalk. He came up with a plan and took measurements. We signed a contract and are waiting on the installation to begin.
