George's was great. The water pressure on my property was an issue. George's shows up with a large van. It has a pump, a large water tank, and whatever chemicals they use to clean siding on a house. I have about a 2,300 sq foot house. It's surrounded by trees. Mold, mildew and algae grows easily. The last time I had my house done was about eight years ago. It was in serous need of a bath. Georges got about 3/4 of the job done before he had to leave. The water pressure from my well couldn't keep up with the required water replacement in the tank in the van. This being a time of COVID, I had an opportunity to go on vacation and headed out for the West Coast. Georges said they would come back to finish while I was on vacation. You pay a bit more to pay by credit card than by check. So I paid him up front with a check. I came back from vacation and the job was completed, and looked like new. I was surprised how well they cleaned the house. I trusted them, they did their job. I'll hire them again in a heartbeat .... in about five years or sooner. Their process works great. No ladders, no fuss, no muss. They can go up three stories (at least) with their washer. The chemicals didn't kill anything, and I have a lot of flowers and plants right next to the house. These guys are good.

This is an honest review per our experience with George's Powerwashing. The bottom line is we cannot recommend this company due to the damage done to our porch ceiling, which we will now have to have replaced or try to have repaired at our expense. First of all, we asked that our porch NOT be washed due to it being fairly newly reconstructed with composite decking and vinyl railing. We had concerns that the pressure might be too much as we had never used this company before. Well, unfortunately George went ahead and washed it. I paid him, and a couple of hours after he left when things started to dry, I went outside to inspect. I was shocked to find water dripping from my porch ceiling, and random ugly dark yellow rings and drop lines and stains all over the entire length of the ceiling. I called George and sent pics and requested he come back asap to address the issue. He told me not to worry, that they were going out of town but he would come by when they returned, rinse it, and all would be fine. Six days later he came back, rinsed and rubbed and then finally told me he COULD NOT get the stains off. I was stunned to say the least. My husband was livid. George didn't offer to try any other remedies, or perhaps try repainting it or something, not even offering us a partial refund. He and Rita just basically shrugged it off and walked away. To be fair, let me say that the rest of the house was done just fine and he deserves to be paid for that. However, please ask yourself how you would feel having to repair damage from an area you asked them not to do in the first place. So, our anger has subsided, but we felt it necessary to write this review of our experience. You be the judge...

When I called Georges about doing the job, they gave me a quote over the phone. I thought that was great as I wouldn't have to schedule something, the quote they gave me was just in my budget so I accepted. But, once George came out to power wash, the price went up. The quote did not include sanding, or the two tone paint that I had sent in a picture when the quote was given. The two tone paint was way above my budget and not a necessity, so I had to give that up which is upsetting. The sanding had to get done, so I was stuck with that added cost, as he had already powerwashed.. I called to talk to them about it, they gave me a lower price, but it was still above my budget. My recommendation would be to not do a quote over the phone and have them come out and tell you what ALL costs are, and get a written estimate with what is included with the service. The painting/stain was done about 2 weeks after the powerwashing, the crew was on time, professional and the person in charge was very nice and showed me some issues I might have in the future as the deck is pretty old.

Went very well! We were having a large party and needed the house washed ASAP and they worked us in to accommodate our needs. He was thorough and did a great job. Managed to get off all the algae and mold left from our wet winter

It is a rare review when I give a service a grade of straight A's. George earned every A, and more... he is my power washer for life! George showed up, on time, ready to get the job done. Our house is wrapped in white Hearty Plank siding (I don't recall the trade name). Hearty Plank must not be power washed at high pressure, or it will be damaged. George sprayed the green mold gently with one of his special soaps. In a few minutes he rinsed all of the mold and dirt with a gentle spray of fresh water. The George repeated the process on the other three sides of the house, and dirt just cascaded away, leaving pristine white siding. Our house looks brand new. I had reached out to George's powerwashing to have the exterior of my middle unit town home pressure washed. That involved just the front and back. I spoke with Rita on the phone to set up the appointment and she looked at photos of my recently purchased home on Redfin and noticed the grit and dirt on the exterior, specifically on a front portion of the brick that jutted out next to my neighbors. This was really the only area of the house I really wanted cleaned. George spent about 30 minutes to a hour power washing the front and back however upon final inspection I took a look at the side portion and noticed it had not really been touched on. He spent about 3 minutes adding soap and washing it down and stated after a few rain showers it should clear up about 75% of the house. After multiple rain showers and a month and a half later it had not improved the appearance one bit. I reached out to Georges powerwashing stating my concerns and left a voicemail that went unanswered. They are nice, polite people, but the quality of work was not up to par. Once their services were rendered and payment was received did not care to stand by their work. I would not recommend.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed] when you asked about getting heavy algae and moss off brick i explained to you that to fully remove this would take high pressure to fully remove it. I can high pressure up to 8 ft above ground the stains were up on third level it would require a boom lift to get it done. I went over this and told you i can low pressure it with detergent and i applied 3 applications and said the there was no gaurentee on removing it. I do not have any employees so there was no mistaking of what was said. Im sorry that you have chose to give me a D for quality of service. I wish you would reconsider your grade of service. I have all A’s and have won the angies list super serivce award for 7 years in a row. I provide excellent service to all my customers but in your case i was up front and honest in the out come. George's Powerwash performance was absolutely superb! We plan to have him back next year to powerwash our home again. This was the first time in the 14 years since our home was constructed that we've had it powerwashed, and we had no prior experience with professional siding cleaning services. Because a green algae stain on our second story siding above our garage had become unsightly, we had to get the vinyl siding cleaned. We selected George after identifying prospective contractors based on their Angie's List reviews. We then contacted each one by phone and asked questions that allowed us to select the single contractor that we personally believed would be the most experienced, competent and reliable, and had what seemed reasonable pricing. We selected George's although his price wasn't the least expensive. After first having had a very informative and extensive discussion with his "office manager" -- his wife; and, then having a technical follow-up discussion on the phone with George himself, it was clear he was far and away the best choice. George was very flexible in scheduling the work, and he arrived just as promised. It took him about 1 1/2 hrs to completely powerwash and treat the vinyl siding and exterior trim and gutters of our two-story house. When he was done, the house looked like new! It was a fantastic job. There wasn't a trace of algae, dirt or grime. Even the the gutters sparkled. My wife and I unhesitatingly recommend George's Powerwashing, hands-down. As I noted at the opening, we'll have George back next year!!

George rearranged his schedule to accommodate me NEXT day when original contractor did not show. As the house was being photographed for sales brochure the following day this was critical. I considered doing the job myself until I found out how he cleans decks and realized that I lacked the equipment necessary to do a decent job on a composite deck. The deck looks like new.

The appointment was easy to set up. The vendor contacted me to reschedule as needed due to forecast weather issues. Work was done while we were not at the house, but everything looked great when we got home. I would definitely use them again next year.

Can’t say enough about George’s…a very friendly family-owned business that delivers exceptional work at a great price. George went about and beyond in explaining the deck cleaning and sealing process and why he recommends Behr Premium Solid. The higher cost of the stain/sealer is well worth the investment so you don’t have to worry about re-staining in two or three years. Customer service is second to none…May was very wet but George called every few days reassuring I was next on the list and his team would be out as soon as the weather cleared up. Would definitely use them again.
