Description of Work: Provider came to give estimate of need. I was told they could paint the rooms, however, they added on so many extras (prep, repair, ceilings, etc) the list was quite long. In the end, I decided not to use them, as it felt as if the "deal" was really a "Come-on". I was very disappointed.

Description of Work: This is the third time we have used Color Expressions. This time they power-washed our house and deck. They painted the trim, overhangs, porch and deck.They are very reliable, pleasant and professional. Their work is top-notch and so is their clean-up afterward.

Description of Work: I called color expressions on 2/1/13 to set up a free estimate to get the ceilings and a few rooms in our house painted. The woman on the phone said Donna could come on 2/2/13 at 12:30pm. That day, I waited around all afternoon for her to show up. She never showed up and never called to reschedule. I called Color Expressions and they said the best they could do was take a message. That was 3 days ago and no one has called me back to explain why Donna never showed up. Would not recommend this company, you may end up wasting an entire afternoon.

Description of Work: The Big Deal was for 2 painters for 1 day, for $450. I own a medium-sized split level brick home in Bethesda and wanted to change the brick color from off-white to a darker (taupe) color. I offered to power wash the house and provide all paint for the job to maximize the amount of painting their 2 painters could do in one day. The provider estimated the house would take 34 labor hours - or 4 days for 2 men to complete, and said the Big Deal "was not meant for such a large job". So, I was offered a different deal, one which was over $1,000 greater than the Big Deal so, I declined the offer and requested a credit for the Angie's List Big Deal. I was told to contact Angie's List as they (you) are the ones that process the credit card. Please credit my account the $450.00 that was applied to this deal.
