Description of Work: Initially we really liked our sales associate. We described what we were looking for and she showed us a few options that would work within our space and price range. We found a line of sectional sofa's with sleepers that we liked and talked price. She gave us the range and then adamantly said, these never go on sale -- "so that price is the price." | |Now you wouldn't think anything about that, except for the fact that sales associates at TWO other stores with the same line told us that if we were interested we should wait until September when the manufacturer does a once a year sale (which was only about 5 weeks from the time we were in that store). | |So she was either a) not as knowledgeable as her long pedigree she rattled off to us would have you believe, b) was pushy to get the sale or c) dishonest and was looking to somehow pocket the sale price as part of her commission. | |Sheffield is not cheap and you you expect a "high-end" experience for what you are paying. That was quite the opposite. Either way, we were glad we took our business elsewhere.

+ -1 moreI waited for a 40% off sale which happens with some regularity. Salesperson/designer was very good at providing upholstery samples and helping me find something I liked. Eventually decided on a non-Stickley fabric for a slightly higher price. Main question then revolved around what hardness or softness of pillows to get. I got the standard pillow but now wish I had gone with one of the softer ones. It took 2 1/2 months for the sofa to be completed. Delivery was handled professionally

+ -1 moreWe had a very good experience with the salesperson. It was a very low pressure sale. We didn't feel like we were pressured into anything. The quality of the furniture was excellent. It was a special order and the follow through on the special order was very good, and they delivered it to our home. They were extremely professional, they were conscientious, and they listened to what we wanted. In fact, they adjusted something else which was more appropriate for what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend them very highly.
