+ 34 moreLewis has taken care of our home for the past 4 years. He is the most caring and honest person that I have met - when he does repair work for our home, he treats it like his own home! Lewis has done every aspect of home maintenance for us that I can think of - plumbing, electrical, carpentry . . . just about everything. His work is excellent, his prices VERY fair, and it is always a pleasure having him in our home. My husband and I are 'seniors' and Lewis recently recommended that he move the water shut off from under the house to a convenient place in the garage. Now, when we leave town to visit our grandchildren, we just pass by the water shut off and turn it off - couldnt be easier. I HIGHLY recommend Lewis Green to anyone who is looking for a CARING AND EXPERT person to look after their house - and the best is, no job is too small for him - he really is the ONLY person I call when some type of repair in the house needs to be done.
Description of Work: The upstairs toilet developed a big leak each time we flushed. I called Lewis and he came right over, determined the problem, changed the parts and fixed the leak! While he was there I had him take a look at the vent for the dryer because my clothes had a lot of lint on them when they came out of the dryer. He pulled out the dryer and followed the vent all the way to the outside, and he discovered that the vent was completely blocked! Also, because the vent was 20 years old it had deteriorated and crumbled. This could easily have caused a fire. Lewis immediately went out and got a metal pipe for the vent and replaced the old one. 'While he was there' I asked him to hang two electrical fixtures above the kitchen counter and check my other toilets for potential problems. (Yay, there were none!)
