Miller's Overhead Door Inc

Miller's did an estimate in June and scheduled the work for July. They were very prompt and courteous. The worker who installed the doors was professional and did an excellent job of installing the doors. He showed up on time and only took a few hours to complete the work. Their estimate was exactly the amount due with no surprises. I would definitely do repeat business with Miller's.

The overall process wnt very smoothly. The technician came in and done what he was tasked to do and explained in detail what was done.

My husband, who is Mr. Picky, was extremely impressed with the gentleman (I think his name was Michael, but won't swear to it) who performed the service and we'll definitely be calling them when it's time for a replacement door opener. Our opener is 18 years old, but the serviceman said he thinks we have another 5. The whole system sounds different and smooth, and we haven't had a malfunction or a randomly-opening door as we've had in the past. Thanks so much!

I called Miller's Overhead Door for a service call on my garage door. It would not close, and after hours of messing with it and trying to fix it on my own i gave up. They scheduled me right away, the technician showed up on time, and quickly found a short in the wire. He fixed it, and also lubed the door for me. I asked him about some touch up paint, and he said he would drop some by. I thought to myself " I'll never see that paint, but that was a nice gesture anyway!". Well, to my surprise i came home the next day and the touch up paint was on my porch. Needless to say i am super-happy! These guys are great!

The job went fine overall. I called, and they were pleasant on the phone. They gave me a time when they could come out. He came out on time and looked at the opener. He fixed it that day within 30 minutes or so. He didn't need extra parts, so it was just a basic service call.

The phone contact was very thorough. The estimater showed up as scheduled. The installation person showed up as scheduled. He gave me instruction on the door, let me inspect the work thoroughly, and cleaned up thoroughly. Miller's price was by far the best among 6 garage door companies I called. Very satisfied with the value and quality.

Excellent phone experience. The service man was efficient. My only small reservation was the standard price for a service call. He installed the part in 15 minutes, but they have a flat billing rate of one hour.

I wanted to install a new garage door and opener on my new house because the old garage door opener is broken and the old garage door is ugly. I priced it on Home Depot and the whole set-up came out to $2200, they had 10% discount promotion and it came down to $2000. Since I'd rather use local contractors if I can, I checked Angie's list and called Miller's over the phone. They were very helpful and was able to give me a ball park estimate over the phone after I provided the measurements and the specs I wanted. Everything sounded good so I asked them to come out and do an on-site inspection. Their person who provided the on-site inspection was prompt and professional, and there were no real surprises. Since I wanted to get the replacement done quickly, I picked a door that was in stock and the installation went very smoothly. The installer (Chris) showed up on time, did a great job, and there were no surprises. So overall, I am very pleased.

I had heard of Miller's locally through adds and verified using Angie's list that they had good ratings. I called them on a Monday and they came out on Wednesday at the agreed-on time for an estimate. The owner came out and was very friendly. I told him I did not want to spend a lot of money on the door because I was expecting to move in about a year. I had previously priced doors at Home Depot to install myself and his installed price was not much more than the prices I had seen and much less than the installed prices. I told him I wanted to purchase the door and he told me his office would call the next day to set up the appointment. They called on Thursday, said they had the door in stock and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday afternoon. I asked to have the installer call me about an hour before he arrived so I could come home from work and meet him. The only issue I had was on this point. On the install day, it got to be about 2pm and I had heard nothing, so I called Miller's. They said it was odd that I had not heard anything and said they would get back to me. About 5 mins later, they called back and said the installer was on the way and would be at my house in about 30 mins. I got home just in time and he arrive a few minutes after me. He and his partner installed the door quickly and it looks/works great. The installer even adjusted my opener so it worked better and showed me the "danger" points on the door. A couple of days later, I even got a thank you card from Miller's - a nice touch I thought.

As an out of state owner, I contacted this company by phone, explained my needs, and had a new door installed within four days. I neglected to order an outside handle/lock and the company came back and installed one without another service charge.

The estimate they gave me was precise and quick. They gave me exactly what I wanted. I did have an issue with my garage door opener and they were able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. They sent a gentleman to come look at the chain, that looked loose, and they came to look at it and adjusted it for free. Their customer service is very good, after I paid them they sent a thank you card, it was a personal touch that I appreciated.

What I like the most about the work they did is how it looks. I do think it looks great. Besides that, the quality of the work and their professionalism was outstanding. I am very pleased with what they did.

Spring had broke. They fixed it. They do a good job. They were here on time.

He installed a garage door for my two car garage. We got the Dalton's quiet opener belted. He installed it fairly quickly, but he failed to explained the entire system. I had to asked him about certain things. He left some of the cut-up wiring on the garage flooring. Overall, they are OK. The pricing wasn't all that bad and they gave me a 10% discount for being a new customer.

They removed and hauled the old door away for us as part of their service. They did an excellent job of installing the door and the opener. We thought the quality was good and we haven't had any problems with any of it. They came back to readjust the opener for me.

They were very professional and I like that they are a small family owned company that has been around for a long time. They did a very clean job and didn't leave a mess at all. They were able to get it installed in just an hour and a half.

This is a smaller company that really does its best to take care of their customers. My door wasn't able to open due to a glitch in our opener and so I called them. They took care of my problem and I also had them take a look at the springs. The door and the opener has worked like new again. I was very thankful for the service that they provided me.

These guys did a great job and that meant a lot coming from me because I don t give out compliments to often. These guys deserved a compliment. The work they did was of very high quality and I wouldn t change a thing about the experience that I had with them. Their price was great and so were the workers.

I did have one small and minor hang-up with them, but other than that I have been fairly pleased. After they installed the openers, one of them wasn't working properly. It took a little longer that it should for them to come out and repair it. They did come back and take care of the problem, and the openers have worked great every since.

We didn t really like the opener we had. So we used this place to put on a new one because we had gotten them referred to us. It was a pretty simple installation. The removal of the old one for the most part and the opener we got through them, is for more to our liking. It has worked well, not given us any problems and that s what we asked for.

I was very happy with these guys. They came out very quickly after I called them. They did a great job of fixing the door and we have not had any problems with it since. This company actually put the garage door in years ago.

The work was fantastic and it looked good when they finished. The door opened and closed tightly. The door was insulated and it was made with compressed foam and aluminum, so it will hold up to all types of weather. This took the company a day to install. They also took down the old garage door for me.

These guys were by far the greatest garage door company around. I was very satisfied with their price, and they answered all of my questions. Never once did they bad mouth the competitors. I have recommended them to 5 of my neighbors so far. They were very professional and had great craftsmanship.
