Description of Work: Repaired a broken tension spring on my garage door. They suggested replacing both given that uneven tensions can cause failures and cause another service call. I had heard this from a relative in the business in FL and approved it since the cost was only for the extra spring and no further labor charges were involved.The repairman was an hour late but finished his work very quickly so I don't hold this against them. Price was in line with what most professionals charge and since I'm an incompetent amateur, I don't begrudge them the money. I would recommend them to any who need garage door repairs.

Description of Work: Checked and adjusted my garage door. This company installed my garage door and opener in 2003 and did a great job. Have had no problems with it, but decided to have the service check when offered on Angie's List just as a precaution.

Description of Work: Was having trouble with garage door opening and closing--sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. On the service date to check the door of course it worked fine so the service person did not find anything wrong with the door (Murphy's Law). We paid $69.00 for nothing actually because the door worked fine while the company respresentative was here.

+ -1 moreThis was just a standard installation. I had nothing extra done. Everything had gone accordingly and seemed to turn out just as I had wanted it to. The doors are working fine and I have no complaints. I think these men are quite professional. They were very well prepared when arriving to my home. The left nothing lying around and they were able to finish the job in a reasonable time frame.
Description of Work: Millers installed 2 overhead garage doors; each of them was 10 ft wide.

+ -1 moreI had very mixed feelings about this company because the crew did not do a very good job. They left glass and nails on my driveway. The door was not square and I had to call the owner to come out and fix everything himself. He apologized for the way his crew acted and he said he would take care of everything. If it was the owner that came out right from the start I would have given them all A's.
