We bought a house that was entirely beige throughout.... walls, trim, doors, cabinets, EVERYTHING BEIGE. It didn’t look bad, but we wanted it to feel clean and airy and bright. We also wanted to have a more modern feel. Charles came and gave us a very thorough estimate, and also some really great advice about choosing colors and how to update the home. We hired Charles and his team to do the entire house. They painted every door, trim, wall, ceiling, and cupboard in the whole place. It transformed it so beautifully I can’t even put it into words. In addition, our movers could not be rescheduled so they did the entire job on pretty short notice and within a short time frame and left no mess- not one drop of paint where it shouldn’t have been. We couldn’t be happier!!!

Charles did a fantastic job at our house. They adjusted the color when we wanted it lighter and were thorough and tidy. The end result is fabulous! Couldn’t be happier!

THE BEST! My husband and I have never had our house professionally painted. For me, the difficult part was picking out the color for the siding on our house. The owner Charles walked us through it every step of the way. The crew did a fabulous job on the powerwashing, prep work, hole filling, scraping and sanding, priming and finally painting. They treated our home like it was their own. I am going to refer CGP to everyone!!! We love the look and so do our next door neighbors :)

The crew did an amazing job on two rooms we were remodeling. They were responsive, flexible and it’s obvious care about the final product. Our two rooms look great and we’re already talking about having them do some more.!!

We hired them to skim and paint the walls of our house we just purchased, which was built in the 80’s. They also remodeled and waterproofed our master bathroom. They did an excellent job, kept in communication with us throughout the process, and even finished everything on time so we could move in. Their pricing is good, too- it was lower than the other 2 companies I got quotes from. Strong recommend!

The dreaded Popcorn Ceiling Removal. A messy and not fun job, thankfully Charles Graves Painting assisted me. Definitely cannot say enough wonderful things about their company. Outstanding workmanship, conscientious, attention to detail and customer pleaser. Respected and protected my home furnishings, flooring and walls throughout the job. Finished project was beyond my initial expectations, including cleanup. In addition, they assisted me with some outside rotted trim replacement with the same workmanship as the inside. Thank you very much for a job well done.

It went really well overall! My only gripe is that the communication with the painting crew could have been better. Though I had submitted written communication on the type of paint and where, on the first day the foreman had me verbally communicate all this information again and there was a slip up (which was corrected!). I also had to contact the paint store to get a receipt for all the paint I paid for. Quality work overall and the owners and crew were really personable and lovely, but I'm definitely on the side of "get everything in writing" and had some issues due to verbal communication being the main form with respect to the painting crew.

Charles and his crew did an amazing job! If you're the type of home owner who is like me and is always reading reviews and cant choose what company to go with... look no further Charles is your man. The team painted my entire house within 3 days of being there. Quality of work was amazing and would recommended to anyone. Price was completely reasonable. My experience with Charles Graves Painting was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! They showed up early, got to work right away, and stuck with the work from start to finish and never even took a break! They went above and beyond and exceeded expectations by a million miles when they fixed a number of flaws left behind from the drywall crew including a large gap in the wall near a seam AND a sizable chuck of mud missing from the ceiling. There were even small flaws in the finished drywall after that were a result of air bubbles in the drywall mud that were mostly unnoticeable to myself. Charles pointed them out, explained how it would cause issues in the painting and went ahead and fixed them all. Best of all, they worked extremely quickly but that does not affect their quality at all, they just don't waste time standing around They took extreme care to put down drop clothes and put protective covering on all windows and doors, light fixtures, outlets, etc. and were squeaky clean, neat, and orderly! Thank you guys, very happy customer here!

We had a great experience with Charles Graves Painting. They are responsive, prompt, and the quality of the work is excellent. In addition to interior painting, they installed wall molding in my master bedroom, and it turned out great. In addition, they finished two floors of rooms with tall ceilings (including the molding installation) in less than 2 days, and with very dark paint colors. All the painters wore masks and were extremely conscientious. I would highly recommend them.

My experience with them was excellent: we received our quote right away and the price was better than we expected; the crew was consistently polite and punctual over the five day job; and the quality of the work was spotless. I had them repaint my entire townhouse and do some light-duty repair work like patching holes and fixing trim. I can honestly say that my place looks like new. It went amazing, from first phone call to final coat. Charles was professional, engaging, and consulted me, a newbie with paint on getting the exact look I wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a better job being done. It turned out better than I imagined.

Job included prep and painting exterior brick, wood, and aluminum, windows, doors, and gutters; stripping and painting garage double door; repairs to columns; and power wash and re-sand brick patio. I found Charles Graves Painting through my friend Dustin who had also found them on Angie's List, and he couldn't speak highly enough about them so I had them out for an estimate. Previously we had hired Williams' for our last paint job. Me and my family liked Charles' proposal and attention to detail, and their price was competitive (considerably better than Williams, and comparable to the other quotes) so we hired them on the spot. Charles' company performed the contract for us to a T, and did a really nice job doing it, but they also went above and beyond by giving us a free design consult, painting a chalkboard paint section in our kid's bedroom for free, and giving us attentive service throughout. Their crew was hard working and we felt safe and comfortable with them in our home, and Brayan the project manager was checking in daily. I like that they had 3 people who all were accountable, Charles, Brayan, and their crew leader Emilio. All of them did what we asked at the drop of a hat. The rest of their workers were mostly just quiet and doing their jobs. If there's anything they could improve on, Charles forgot to call us at the end when they were finished, but Brayan did walk through everything and made sure it was finished. He also had them correct a couple last things then he went through a sign off sheet with me to make sure I was ok with everything and asked if anything else needed attention, but I couldn't find anything. The end job was beautiful. Charles probably just trusts his guys, and I don't blame him. I recommend them to everyone! Overall, I would say their work and service was on par with Williams', at a much better price, so I think the value for Charles' is much better

Just wanted to pass on how happy we are with the job Charles and company have done on our new home. We got quotes from a few painters but Charles Graves Painting seemed the best value for money in terms of the quality we’d seen on their past jobs. We were happy with the decision and found the crew to be well organized, professional and did everything they could to meet our expectations. The final result is was amazing and better than we could’ve imagined. I also must say that the color consultation really help us giving our home a color scheme.

I found Charles on Angie's and he was very responsive since the moment I requested a quote, we are moving into a new home in the area. He came out and it was very professional, was able to answer all my questions and was honest with me on some work that I really needed done and but also what he thought was not as urgent. I really appreciated his honesty and the fact that he cared in giving us exactly what we needed. The job turned out beautiful, they finished up within 4 days, which to me was amazing, they are really hard workers and care about protecting your home. We look forward to working with them in a couple smaller project we will have in the next months!

I had Charles and his crew come to paint our 6 unit condo building, and they were all very professional! They did a really nice neat job, and were lovely to work with, and very responsive. There were some issues with a few days bad weather, and Charles was very diligent about coming back to do touch-ups after the paint had dried enough for that. They also pressure washed our concrete pathways and did a great job of that too. I would totally recommend hiring them! :) I have kept Charles business card for future projects. It is always nice to find a person who has integrity and you feel confident can do the work properly.

I called Charles and told him I was in a hurry and he was able to come out at 7:30pm the same day (I called around 3pm, tell me about leaving everything for the last minute). I had my house painted before but normally my wife handles everything and I just write the final check, we had a baby 2 months ago, this time was on me.
