I called to voice my concerns, and the owner came out. He 100% didn't feel there was any issue, giving a huge list of reasons why it could happen. He took NO responsibility for our flooring, and even said if they try to fix it, it would only hurt the backerboard and possibly other tiles. Needless to say, not one thing was done to correct the poor quality of the installation, not even a simple apology. He acted as if it was the Best floor ever put down, and he'd be proud to have it look so good. Looking good, and feeling good are two very different issues. I feel an offer of a partial refund, should have been given, since we were so disappointed in the work. Also, the company took one box of tile that was left over, back to the shop without my permission. Maybe that's common in the industry, but I didn't feel it was right. I let them know since I paid for it, I wanted it back. They did give it back, when I went to pay the final balance. I held up my agreement to pay for the service, even though I am not happy with the outcome. I feel first and foremost they should've held up their agreement to provide quality work, but since that wasn't done a partial refund should have been offered. I will never use or suggest this company to anyone.
Description of Work: The old floor was ripped out, and sub-flooring put down on a Monday. The tile was supposed to start being laid 2 days later on Wed, but for whatever the reason it didn't arrive. It came an entire week later(the following Wed) prolonging our home's disarray and money spent to either eat out or buy more meals to microwave. When the tile was finally laid, I'm not sure if they were in a hurry since we'd been waiting so long, but the final outcome was far less than acceptable. Tiles all throughout the flooring are uneven, raised, and clearly obvious they aren't level. I had an actual contractor come look at it for me, and he agreed the work was shotty at best.
