Five Star Painting

Left paint splotches on floor, bricks, and grout and scratches in my kitchen sink. Moved furniture and didn't put back. Paint did not cover color on one small area but did not ask or suggest a 2nd coat. Did not hear back from them when I wrote to them about my disappointments.

All levels of staff: estimator, office customer service,, project supervisor, and painters were efficient, personable and very pleasant to deal with. Work was completed in time estimated and well done. Would certainly recommend for any painting project, indoor and out.

Five Star Painting provided the medium of our three estimates, and I felt most comfortable with the estimator who viewed our property. They were flexible and responsive in scheduling & customer service and did a great paint job. Truly excellent work.

They left paint in almost every sink/tub in my house. Broke my blinds and hit it with masking tape. They assured me they could cover in one coat if I purchased particular paint and it did not cover.

Five Star Painting did a very solid, competent job painting outside of my house repairing some exterior "rot" and caulking. They also painted a room & stairwell on interior. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of work performed & they were very pleasant & efficient! Great job! No complaints.

I was attracted to the company due to its high review rating initially, which was borne out in all of my dealings with them, especially the customer service part--Spencer. I would state that the company is frank about its carpentry ability on the website--they are not carpenters, but painters who can make simple cuts. I hired 5-Star for exterior painting, which included a bay window. I discovered I had some wood rot that needed repair. Without too much elaboration, the finished product looks fine, however, having watched the repair I know a carpenter would have made straighter, tighter joints and done a better job overall. I assume the thought was a little caulk goes a long way to fill the gaps. Overall, I feel good that I hired the company. It went out of its way to make sure I was happy, coming back to make touch ups and such with no complaints. I will hire them again when I need painting done--though I may hire a carpenter to fix anything major before the painting which may be more cost effective.
