Assessment : 1) Internal: Electrical Panel Update:Workmanship -Excellent! External: Installation of Grounding Poles: Not Completed in a Timely Fashion. 2) Customer Service Department: Excellent! Kept me informed and addressed my needs in a swift caring manner. Very Professional! I knew I could rely on what ever promise which was made concerning inspection dates and times and final project completion.

Called on 2 May at 5:30 pm to schedule an appointment for a spring tune-up of my HVAC system. Appointment was scheduled for Sunday, 6 May between 10 and 2. By two, when they were a no show, I called. After speaking with two customer service reps who were not able to help me, I finally spoke with Dave who presented himself as the HVAC Service Manager. He looked our record up and told me he had cancelled the appointment at 8 that morning due to the high volume of service calls they had received. When I asked him why I hadn't been contacted, he said he had no idea why I wasn't called; it wasn't his responsibility. Very unprofessional. I took 4 hours of my Sunday to wait for them and they didn't bother to call or show.

The service pro tired to up sell me before the project was completed which made the interaction awkward, he did a great job and if his recommendations were presented at the right time this would have been a pleasant experience.

I got a quote and setup services very quickly. Kevin A. was the person who provided service and he was great. He was professional, thorough and precise. Given the quality service I received, I pass the Clearance Assessment Report without issue

The lack of hot water in the shower turned out to be a very simple fix. Calvin walked me through the repair, and was quickly done. He also answered all of questions about future work. Will definitely call them when we do our master bath and kitchen renovations.

I waited a week to write this review in order to gather my thoughts This review reflects work done on 12/16 & 12/17 for a water heater replacement . I was put in contact with Michael & Son through HomeAdvisor. They were the first to reply. An appointment was scheduled for 12/16. TJ/Terrance arrived on Saturday 12/16. (He was a very cordial personable guy.) When I scheduled the appointment, I advised them that a 8 foot ladder would be necessary to get in the attic where the water heater is located. TJ apparently lent his ladder out to another coworker, so he had a ladder that he didn't know how to use. He struggled with it for a bit, but with my help we eventually figured it out, and he got into my attic. He advised me the water heater is leaking and is bad. It should be an easy repair that would take about 2 hours. He went to his truck to get an estimate. He came back with invoice just under $1300. It was high, but I agreed to it. (I had been without hot water for a week and right before Christmas) Unfortunately they were unable to complete the installation because there was no one to help him. (I should have know right then and there that this was not gonna go smoothly) Okay I can deal with one more day. So appointment was scheduled for the next day 12-4pm on which I had to work. That was later changed to 8am-12pm. I was able to arrange to have someone at my house during the installation. So it's all good. Now its Sunday 12/17. TJ arrives on time but without a partner to help him. So he said he was gonna go to breakfast and he'd be back. An hour later he comes back again without any help (keep in mind my friend is there because I can't be).For an hour or so TJ fumbles around in attic but accomplishes nothing because he still has no help. An hour after that, his partner finally arrives to help him. Now the installation can begin. They drain the water heater into the bathroom but manage to spill water on my carpet staining it. Mt friend ended up cleaning it up as best as he could. (They put down plastic to protect the carpet. Water rolls off plastic so that wasn't useful) Anyway....My friend ended up helping them get the water heater down from the attic. What?! Yeah he helped them. They dragged the old water heater out but why you ask? Because the dolly they had was broken. They asked my friend if he had a dolly to use. What?! Of course I didn't have a dolly. So he helped them get the new water heater up the stairs in the house. (apparently he works for Michael & Son for free) They get the water heater installed, and they're all done...4 hours later!! I'm at work getting text messages from my friend as he has been stuck/inconvenienced for an additional 2 hours at my house. They say that it will take about 3 hours for the tank to fill and heat up. And they leave. That was 1:30pm. I get home at 6pm and there was no hot water. URGGG. I call Michael & Son to let them know. The guy on the phone was surprised that there wasn't any hot water. He said

They were on time, and able to quickly assess the problem. The service person came prepared with the proper tools and technical prowess needed to efficiently fix the problem.

Provided a free estimate with no fee to show up. Nice workmanship and good diagnosis of the problem without costly diagnostics..

The price range I was quoted on your website was 125-300 dollars. The technician initially quoted me a price of 445 dollars. When I refused to pay that amount and informed him of the price range I was quoted he lowered the bid to 295 dollars. I only used this company based on your site and I will never use them again. I still felt I was over charged for the work., which took less than one hour.

I received immediate contact from their office and was informed of procedures and the work would begin that afternoon. Drew G. arrived provided a clear and professional estimate. He performed a quality service in a timely and efficient manner. He also took the time to answer all of my questions providing an estimate for future service. I highly recommend this company and Drew is an excellent representative of the company.
