This was the first time I used Angie's List to select a vendor. I needed a painting contractor and selected Kingstowne Painting, an Honor Roll Member. It was a wonderful experience; they were totally professional. They were on time everyday, including the day they came to give me an estimate. Their work was neat and clean; they protedted furniture and carpeting. The group was well supervised and the lead talked with me each day to update the status of the project. Their prices were very reasonable. I am completely satisfied with their work. When I need more painting done, I will definitely use Kingstowne Painting.

Overall,the consultant was pleasant and knowledgeable, but they did not contact me with a proposal as promised. Because of this, I would not consider them for future jobs.

They came in in the morning and were done before 1:00. Glad I got the paint with the primer in it. The edges were clean and they were able to work around the TV on the wall. I am satisfied with their work.

Everything went perfectly smooth, they cleaned everything up afterwards and the repairs and painting looked great.

As it is with all my dealings with Kingstowne (both their landscaping division and their painting division) I got a quick estimate, which I found to be very reasonable. After some scheduling emails, we worked out a time when the painter would come. I got an email that the work would be done during a certain week, and it was -- no surprises, and no delays. Every aspect looked great, and the clean up was perfect.This is the third or fourth time I've used Kingstowne for projects other than landscaping, and I'm really, really impressed. Their quality of work is excellent, and so are there prices. I've been a customer for about five years, and the quality has remained top-notch during my entire time with them.

They were professional. I had a timeline by which I needed the work done and they could not meet that. They were very professional but I needed something done pretty quick. I am in the military and sometimes I am not around, I asked them for a timeline and they could not meet that so I decided not to do the work. Obviously, they did not do so well, they were professional and it was a good professional estimate but I decided not to do it because they could not meet my timeline. I would possibly consider using them in the future.

I spent about $5000 on that service. Everything went wonderful and they were very good. I liked that the foreman Mr. Pablo was on top of everything and he made sure when he came back he did an inspection. He pointed out things that I did not see and took care of it. The price was good and I had a lot of people on the cutting board. The quality was great. They were quite professional and that was one thing that they were good at.

This was the second time I used Kingstowne & once again I was completely satisfied with their service. The crew chief & crew arrived on time & were very professional. They got right to work & did a terrific job. The wallpaper was difficult to remove but they managed to remove all of it and prepped the walls beautifully. They finished the project on time and did a great job cleaning up. Thoroughly satisfied with their work. Would definitely use this service again.

He was very attentive to our questions and concerns. He seemed very eager to have our business which we appreciated. He was professional and more than competent. We ended up selling the home and not moving forward with this project, but if we had we would have chosen this company.

Very professional from start to finish. I received a quick response for an estimate. The team that painted covered all furniture and floors and was very meticulous in painting and clean up. I am very satisfied with the job they did and would definitely use them again. Great job!

This is the second time we have used this company for interior painting. Work completed ahead of schedule - Pablo Martinez estimated 2 days, but the crew of 2 guys was just about finished by the end of the first day. Nelson returned the next morning to rehang the bathroom mirror and touch up some areas that needed it. Pablo checked in periodically over the course of the project. Very nice work. We are very happy. Will use them again.

They were very professional and I didn?t have any issues with the guy that came out to give the quote. Their quote was the most expensive so we didn?t end up using them for the work.

Contacted company to set up an estimate Pablo Martinez arrived exactly on time and was very thorough in discussing the project. Very polite and professional. Work scheduled for 12/9/09 to start at 8am. Crew arrived about 30 minutes late due to bad weather, but once they arrived they got right to work and did an excellent job. I had to leave for an appointment before they were finished and didn't return until later in the evening. They finished the work, cleaned everything up, and locked the door behind them. The room looks absolutely gorgeous - exactly what we wanted. The project was not inexpensive, but they did a great job and we plan to use them again in the spring when we redo our master bedroom.

We had a quick response on the estimate, which was great because we needed work done quickly. The price was great, upper two levels of a large foreclosure home using multiple colors. However, due to our closing being pushed back and it being near the holiday, there were some scheduling issues, so the project had to be done in two parts. Overall, they did a decent job, but there were many prep work issues: drywall patching, priming over walls destroyed by crayons and markers that were maybe more than they had expected. We would have liked more attention to detail. Although they came back readily to do some touch ups, there are areas we have to still redo ourselves.

I scheduled an initial meeting with Pablo Martinez to discuss the scope of the job, paint colors, etc. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We talked about colors and what my expectations were. I felt very confident that he was an expert in his field. On the day the work was scheduled, 2 men came out on time and ready to go to work. Mr. Martinez went over the job expectations with them, and then he left to purchase the paint and materials. They patched and primed the room(s) very well. They attached baseboards that I had removed to pull up carpet. They worked very hard all day and were able to complete the job in one day. The only dissapointment I had was they didn't patch the small holes in the doors from where I had hung hooks before, but that was not a big deal and they were otherwise very detail oriented.

We were extremely pleased. The general manager Pablo was on site daily and explained everything the painters were doing. We would recommend them and use them in the future.

After signing the contracts, I went to Jerry's Paints in Springfield to select my colors. On my first visit, I just picked up brochures and the Benjamin Moore web site was suggested as a possible aide. On my second visit, I was able to have a detailed discussion on pros and cons of what colors would work well. This was a lot to select and Jennifer was extremely helpful in discussing various color options for all the rooms. About two weeks after selecting the colors and notifying Kingstowne the colors had been selected the painters arrived right on time on a Tuesday morning and had everything finished by 5:00 PM on Friday, except one small area that was not included in the time estimate, the stairway rails. The painters came back the following week and completed that as well as a few touch ups where the old color bled through or spackling was showing through. The painters were professional, cleaned up very well and moved everything as needed. I am extremely pleased with the way the entire townhouse looks.

Kingstowne Painting came and provided me an estimate on a guest bedroom. They were kind, courteous, and very enthusiastic about the prospected job. I had used their landscape division numerous times before and felt comfortable that they would do a stellar job. That they did! I received the proposal and selected my paint colors. Once I notified them of my decision they scheduled the work. The painters showed up on time, moved the furniture from the room, filled any nail holes, prepared the walls for a smooth finish by sanding any imperfections and applied the primer coat. They then came back to apply the paint. Upon completion of the project the furniture was moved back into place, the room was cleaned and looked as nothing had been done. The quality of the painting was wonderful and far exceeded the abilities of my previous three painters. Definitely a job well done! Best of all I didn t have to do it!
