Granger Medical Clinic started in 1954 when Dr. Lavere Poulsen and Dr. Glen Wilson established their medical practices as the first physicians west of the Jordan River in order to serve the growing area of what was then called “Granger, Utah” and the surrounding communities. Today we at Granger Medical have grown to become the largest independent medical group in the Salt Lake valley. Through it all, we’ve maintained the persona, caring touch of healing that you have grown to know and trust. Insurance: We accept most insurance including, but not limited to: SelectHealth, United Healthcare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. What to Know Account set-up: Our “family accounting” means we set up one account under the name of the guarantor (person responsible for the account) to serve all family members. One monthly statement will be sent to include all family members. Dependents over the age of 18 will be set up with their own account, listing them as their own guarantor, even though they may share the same insurance plan as the family. Registration: Your insurance card, photo ID, and co-pay payments are required at the time of each service. Payment: Cash, Checks, or credit/debit cards are accepted at all Granger locations. You may also make payments over the phone by calling our Business Office at 801.965.3720 or on our website at www.grangermedical.com. We are happy to submit claims to insurance companies on your behalf. Many payment plan arrangements and options are available by calling our Business Office. Outside Services: Occasionally, laboratory or diagnostic services ordered by your doctor cannot be performed internally. When processed by an outside entity, you will receive a separate bill for these services. have to wait very long. I was able to get x-rays in the same building
without delay. Overall I like the clinic. It's nice to have many
services under one roof. However, I would have liked to see the doctor I
made the appointment with.
I am using the Physical Therapists across the hall from the Orthopedists and I really like them.
