He and Miguel came out the next afternoon; did a very thorough and professional job ; were extremely polite and pleasant to work with. I very definitely will use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreTerriffic. I called Juan on 5/8/2012 and he answered right away. He gave me an estimate based on the # of windows, and that I had a 2 story home. I was surprised to hear he could arrive same day!! Unfortunatley I had appointments, however, he scheduled for the next morning at 9 a.m. I got a phone call from Juan stating that he had run into a few problems but would arive between 10:30-11:00 a.m. He arrived at 10:30. Got right to the job, very cordial and professional. Great job, will definitely use him again.

The guys were friendly and personable. They finished the job in about an hour, cleaned up and left. I am very happy how clean my windows look. I will be calling these guys again.

He showed up exactly at 9:00 am when scheduled and finished in about an hour to do the outside. He also gave me an estimate for the inside and outside for next time. Very professional. Will be using his company from now on.

+ -1 moreI sent an email and received a phone call within the hour. Set up an appointment for that week. The team was there first thing and started working immediately. Windows that had water spots that did not come off with the first washing were rewashed. Two windows had large storm windows attached that had to be removed and cleaned separately. Workers were friendly and worked quickly. Loved the job they did!

Description of Work: i called Juan at 8:30 on a Friday and by 9:15 he had returned my call and set a time to give an estimate for washing our windows for that afternoon. Juan came at 11:30, provided me with a fair estimate and set up a time to come around 1:00 p.m. the next day. Juan and his brother Miguel were at the house by 12:00 and were finished by 3:00p.m. inside and outside. Our windows have quite a few small panels and are somewhat difficult to wash. They did a great job and we were very pleased and impressed with his work ethic and timeliness.

While cleaning the windows, they took the time to also thoroughly clean all my window sills and casements. They were careful to clean up after themselves when they were finished. My windows look better than they've ever looked before. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Alta Vista cleaned all my windows, inside and out and removed all storm windows and cleaned them on both sides as well.

+ -1 moreWe sent them an email requesting info and received a call less the three minutes later. They scheduled us for a few days out, arrived right on time, and did a fabulous job. Friendly and professional. They were very conscientious about tracking snow or mud into the house. It happened so fast we did not do a lot of price comparison, but we felt it was a good value. Juan said he would honor the price for years to come as well. Only problem is that our dog now barks at things outside that he was never able to see before. The windows are crystal clear and beautiful.
Description of Work: Cleaned our windows inside and out. We have a cathedral ceiling and very high windows on one wall.

They showed up at 9:30 (they said they would arrive between 9 and 10) and they were done within one half hour. Very friendly, very professional. Great value!

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with the whole experience. I called needing the windows to be cleaned on a Saturday, and I only called a couple of days ahead. They arrived on time. They were very courteous and got right to work after giving me an estimate of the cost. They were very responsive when I added some windows that I had not originally planned on having cleaned. They also were very responsive when I found a few streaks here and there and immediately touched up those spots. Again, considering my windows were extremely dirty, I was surprised at how clean they got them and in such a small amount of time. I had company arriving in a week, and had put off getting the windows cleaned - so when I called on such short notice, I was extremely happy that they were able to come when I needed them. I felt the cost was more than fair. I will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Had 12 windows cleaned inside and out. All of these windows are older storm windows so the amount of panes to be cleaned is doubled. There are 3 sliding parts/panes that have to be removed, cleaned and put back, and then one pane that is stationary and one surface of that one has to be cleaned outside. For three of these windows, the outside part that has to be cleaned has to be done on a ladder as they are a 2nd story window in height. These are not small windows. The approximate size is about two sections of five feet across and about four feet in height. These windows then have a total of 8 surfaces. Then we have the same size window in our dining room, but the outside of that one can be cleaned from the deck and then we have another one of the same size that is downstairs - so it is at ground level. So that is a total of five of the largest windows. We then had two large sliding glass doors (about a total of 10 feet across & 6 feet high) cleaned, both accessible from the deck. Two smaller windows in the kitchen - that are not the old fashion storm windows- but still a total of 8 panes/surfaces. Then I had two living room windows with the same storm windows, that need to be removed and replaced after cleaning These are two sections approximately 5 feet high and about three feet across. Several of the windows hadn't been cleaned in several years and were extremely dirty.

+ -1 moreJuan Cruz and his crew arrived promptly and had the appropriate equipment for the job. They worked very quickly and generally did an OK job. However, they did miss some spots in some windows. Others had streaks. It was like they had another job that they wanted to get to, so they did ours in a hurry.
Description of Work: Juan Cruz's quote was reasonable. We needed windows cleaned prior to a large event we were hosting. We contracted to have Alta Vista clean all of our outside windows.

I was happy with his price and hired him immediately. He was punctual in arriving this morning, did a quick inspection of what was to be done and then did it. He did a great job on all the windows. I have had difficulty finding someone to do the windows which are up rather high. He did them and they look great.

+ 0 moreI was having out of town guests arrive on the 28th of July when I realized my windows looked atrocious! I just moved in December to the East bench. Our home generally has amazing views of the valley and mountains. I panicked. I needed help FAST!! I called several people from the phone book with no luck. No answer, answering machine or simply not a person I felt sounded reliable enough for me to count on to get the windows done in time.!! I turned to Angies list and found Juan!! He assured me he could come out the next day, I was thrilled. We agreed on a time of 3pm because my husband would be home at that time. I don't get home until 4:30. He said he would have someone there. I told Juan that in the past at my old residence I I had quotes for 110 to 150 dollars. My previous residence was "Half" the size of my current. As promised a crew arrived the next day on time, unfortunately it was raining and my husband was late getting home. They tried calling my phone several times. At approxiamtetely 3:45 they left a message to call Juan and reschedual. I called Juan and he gladly fit me in the next day. They came the next day and washed all of the outer windows and screens!!. We had agreed on 150 earlier and they did a great job. I was more than happy to pay that!!... I felt they charged a fair, competetive price. They provided excellent customer service and a job well done.
