The guys were professional and efficient, my wife who doesn't usually feel comfortable with strangers in the house immediately felt at ease with the guys. We will always know where to turn with pest issues and would reccomend these guys to all our friends

We (My fiance and I) had just moved into an older home on the east side of Salt Lake City, and were seeing LOTS of spiders. Awesome Pest Control responded extremely quickly to our email, and set up an appointment for the following day. The man we spoke with on the phone was very professional, and courteous and answered any questions that we had. They showed up on time, and did a wonderful job. We have not seen spiders since they came. We HIGHLY recommend Awesome Pest Control.

The process went smoothly and effectively.

Called and spoke with Steve on Wednesday...he was very thorough with his questions to determine exactly what was needed, what he would do, and how much it would cost to eradicate the problem we were having with mice in our home. We set an appointment for 10am on Friday. Steve and Brad arrived 5 minutes early ready and eager to go to work on our home. Both were very professional and friendly to work with. They answered all of our questions and quickly showed their expertise in this area. They spent nearly two hours in our home going from top to bottom both inside and out and very carefully inspected and treated all areas that needed to be treated.Steve and Brad sealed many holes and set bait traps in the garage during their visit. Steve and Brad were prompt, professional, and dedicated and their pricing was fair and reasonable for the services they provided. We would definately use their services again.

I love this company. They were really surprisingly inexpensive.

Steve went through the entire house inside and out, downstairs and upstairs, including the garage and the storage shed. He patched all openings, in area mice like to get into, with wire mesh and laid traps. He informed me of all he did. He was here, I'm sure, three hours. He pointed out problem areas and resolved all he could offering advice as to what we could do that would help in the future. I called this company, Awesome Pest Control, once before because of aggressive hornets. At that time, he plugged holes in the brick outside, where the hornets nest and, again, was very thorough, he doesn't miss anything! I didn't see another hornet for years. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat; but of course; I hope I don't have pest problems again.

They responded promptly, were courteous and explained what they were doing. They used natural substances for pest control and it was long lasting. I will use them again in the future.

I haven't noticed any problems since the treatment. They included a 5 year warranty. I felt that they did a thorough job.

Found some insects that I thought may be termites when replacing a rotting fence post and knew of some existing termite damage inside the basement. Steve was great. He determined that the insects I found outside were not termites (phew). He inspected a damaged post and confirmed that it was old and had probably been treated in the past. He were very upfront and did not try to upsell an expensive treatment package.

They were wonderful. They did a very good job. The owner and his son were very honest and had a lot of integrity. After we cleaned we found several bugs that had been killed by the extermination. They are going to be coming back to check the house within a year and if they found any problems they would take care of it for $170.

Excellent on-time service. They were here ten minutes early and were extremely professional and thorough. Can't say enough good things. I will definitely plan on having them come back next year.

Three men came, they sprayed outside including around the house foundation, fence line and windows and porches. They even knocked down wasp nests. They sprayed along the baseboards and window frames inside and dusted in all the ceiling corners and areas with webs. They found ant nests and treated them. I felt they did a very thorough and excellent job.

When I realized I had a termite problem, I went to the Internet and found some local companies I could ask for bids. Three companies came to my home. I spoke with neighbors and relatives and heard some very negative things about Buffo's (I live in Utah County). For some reason I decided to try Angie's List, and I am very glad that I did. I chose Awesome Pest Control Services from the extensive list they provided because Awesome had "awesome" ratings. The owner, Steve, was very accomodating over the phone. In fact, I called him more than once with questions, and he was always very patient and professional. His price was substantially lower than any of the other companies because he thought the problem could be taken care of with a spot treatment. Everybody else wanted to drill holes around my entire foundation. As I thought about the way termites behave, which was confirmed by other pest control services, a government agency, and some literature I found, Steve's suggestion sounded very reasonable. So I went ahead and asked him to get to work. He and his sons did a very thorough job. In every way, from communicating to actually performing the service and cleaning up afterward, Awesome Pest Control was outstanding. I recommend them highly.

The company lived up to its name and prior reports. They were the same cost as my prior company and did four times the work. Every nook inside was treated, the full outside of the house sprayed as well as the entire property. We have always had issues with box elder bugs and spiders and in the month since treatment have yet to see one. The two technicians were friendly, professional and listened to me concerning issues. This company's service is a great value.

Top-notch service all around. Steve answered my calls on Friday evening and again on the holiday Monday, and provided guidance for keeping the wasps from getting further established in the wall until his crew could come out on Tuesday morning. They arrived on time, were proficient and neat in their work, and explained exactly what they were doing and what to look for to indicate that the nest had been killed (which appeared to be the case).

I called on a Monday and Steve said he could come out on Wednesday. He was prompt and called before coming over. He and his sons went right to work scoping out the extent of the problem. Steve had great insight into what was causing the problems and even recommended that we not do anything to treat our home for gnats. After asking several questions, he suggested that the decrease in the number of gnats we had been experiencing over the last couple months was probably due to the installation of new windows, which would have solved a moisture problem that could have been used as a breeding ground for the gnats. I appreciated his frankness and the fact that he wasn't out only to make money but to actually serve his customer. They spent about an hour and a half and were very thorough. The price we paid was a good value considering the time they spent and the amount of chemicals they used.

They gave thorough expanations on what they were doing and why. They also took direction from my wife on problem areas. Though I wasn't home, my wife felt very comfortable with the technicans and their respect for her and our home.

I wanted to use these guys because they had such a great grade on Angie's List and I certainly wasn't disappointed! They said they'd be out at 8am and they were. They did everything we had discussed - Very friendly and hard workers - I'll definitely be calling them back when I need my place sprayed.

Called Awesome in the morning and described a problem we had with ants. Steve said he could make it out the same day. He arrived in the afternoon at exactly the time we agreed upon. He and his son did the most thorough job I could ever imagine. They sprayed every room in my house, the attic, the fence, the flower beds, the exterior of the house and more. I have not seen a single insect of any kind inside my house and am confident that I won't for a long time. I highly recommend Awesome Pest Control to anyone with any kind of pest problem. By the way we have a pet and it did not have any problem at all from the pesticides used by Awesome. Great company and an extremely fair price for the services rendered.

I had a very bad mouse infestation. I tried to solve the problem myself with humane live-catch traps, but 12 traps baited with apple, cheese, crackers, peanut butter, etc., did not catch a single mouse. The mice were getting so bold that they would come out into my living room when my dogs and I were in there and just sit on the living room rug. I knew I had to do something more when I found a dead mouse in my dog's crate (I'm not sure if the mouse just up and died or if my dog mauled it). I tried snap-traps and caught about 20 mice in 3 months. I tried plugging every hole I could find with steel wool or expanding foam. I finally resorted to D-con. I know that at least one mouse died in my walls from either the D-con or natural causes because I could smell the horrible odor of decomposing flesh. And still I found new mouse droppings everywhere! I finally called Awesome Pest Control - I needed a professional! I expected the price to be high, but they told me on the phone that it's $105 (or something like that) for their basic rodent service and then they told me about odor-absorbing bags that I could either buy from them or online to soak up the smell. I was impressed that they gave me the option to shop elsewhere if I wanted. I scheduled an appointment for them to come out the following Monday, and when they arrived, the two technicians were were prompt and very nice. First they had me take them through the house to show them where I was most noticing the problem, and then they each took a section of the house and went to work. They plugged every nook and cranny they could find with steel wool (many I had overlooked because they were teeny-tiny) and they put out bait trap, tracking powder and, ugh, sticky traps. I hate, hate, hate sticky traps, and I feel bad admitting I'm using them, but I have run out of other options! Anyway, I could not believe how thorough they were - it took about two hours for them to go over my house inside and out. They found places where nests existed and paid extra-special attention to those areas. They found some key areas where they thought the mice were gaining entry and pointed them out to me (in addition to filling them with steel wool). It's been nearly two weeks and I have not seen a single mouse dropping AND I have not found any mice in the sticky traps (thank goodness!). I think the best thing we did was plug up the holes and prevent the mice from entering. I am so relieved and so grateful to Awesome Pest Control!

I called one month prior to using the service and discussed my ant problem (3 different types of ants. They spent 15-20 minutes on the phone answering my questions. They recommended that I wait until the snow melted so that the treatment would be most effective. At the time I was only seeing a few ants but the last two years spring has been when the ants show up in the house. I called to schedule once the snow melted and I was seeing more of an ant problem. They came out within a week and did a very through job on the exterior, detached garage, crawl space and interior. Additionally they gave me an Angie's List discount. It has only been a few days since they treated but they told me that I should not see any ants for a year or longer but if I do they will come out and retreat. I felt comfortable with the technicians, they were very knowledgeable and respectful of my property and special requests.

During a remodeling project in our basement bathroom, evidence of termites was found. We called Awesom Pest Control that afternoon and they were able to come out the next morning to examine and treat the affected area. They explained all they were going to do, what would be the best treatment vs. the minimal, and ended up treating and even larger area to make certain we wouldn't have to worry about further damage. We will be calling them later this year to treat the perimeter of the house.
