QOur double brick mailbox was tilting due to poor workmanship. Mark pointed out the problem, and indicated the only remedy was to tear down and build a new mailbox. Upon tearing out old mailbox we discovered there was no structural foundation. Within two days we have a beautiful secure mailbox. Mark is very personably, efficient and does beautiful work. I would certainly use him again or recommend him to any of our neighbors or friends.

To explain why I rate Mark so highly, I have to tell the story of how he saved me thousands of dollars by fixing a problem I had just about given up hope of solving. I had a problem with a large stump from a tree that had grown up beside a utility pole and a fence, but also through my cement block garage wall, crushing a significant portion of the corner. I called all around the valley trying to find someone, anyone, who would even take on such a ���small��� project. Mark, however, specializes in these kinds of challenges. What made this project especially difficult, though, was that most tree services wouldn���t help me. Lateral cuts weren���t possible given the proximity of both pole and cement wall, and there was no room for a grinder. The most constructive advice I was given by the professionals was to let it rot over a couple of years. I asked the utility company if they would consider moving the pole, but their minimum cost was $5000. Doing it myself would require time and skills I didn���t possess, and it still was unlikely to clear enough of the stump to enable the work. The solution required Mark���s considerable skill. He engineered a brace for the garage and the removed most of the cement blocks from that corner, which allowed the tree service to move in and clear out the stump. Then, because the garage was still open and exposed, he returned the next morning (just ahead of the snow) to finish the wall. The work is excellent, despite challenges that the oddly shaped and aligned old blocks presented. Throughout the process, Mark was helpful and accommodating, and when action was needed quickly, he found a way to work in my project between others he was completing. In just a few days, I went from a problem with seemingly no solution at all to a completely repaired garage wall. I am greatly indebted to Mark and highly recommend him to everyone.

I was in a last minute bind to get a leaning brick column rebuilt. Mark came the next day ready to work and now I have a beautifully rebuilt brick column. He was fast and did amazing work. I will use him from now on.

He returned calls, came when he said he would, and charged a more-than-reasonable price for a quick service when others wouldn't even return calls.

We had stonework installed by our builder that had suffered from thaw/freeze cycles; the masonry was cracking and many stones had become dislodged and were crumbling. Mark came the day following my initial call and gave us an estimate. He began the work the following day and completed the repairs; tuck pointing, sealing and coating in one day, not needing the two days he had originally allowed. He arrived on time and was courteous. Mark identified the cause of a problem we had with a couple of stone columns on a patio. He rebuilt the columns, perfectly matching the prexisting stone on another column, building in added shielding from the waterfall coming down the columns when it rains. He was fast on the bid, and fast on the work. I would call him again in a heartbeat, he knows his business, and beautifully crafted the new columns he rebuilt for us. We took all his suggestion for protecting the large amount of stonework inside and outside the house. He will be our goto as this house ages.
