Five Star Painting

Below is my first review of this business "This was a sub-standard job at best. They did not lightly sand the project as Greg stated, nor did they prime the area before spraying. They did use a good paint with primer and paint included, but after 3 coats were sprayed on it looked like washed out white barn wood. There was no attempt to fix the problem. I used the same paint and brushed over their work (as a sample) and the paint covers the cedar as expected. They said they will redo the job, but I would have to pay the full amount again. The sales rep (Greg) did not even call to review the results. We will hand paint the area ourselves. I do not recommend this company." Since this review I have met with the company and they have gone out of their way to make us satisfied with the end project. them. They came back out and hand painted another coat on the project which eliminated the defects from the first time. We are satisfied with the final product and will consider 5-Star for future projects. Only regret was having to pay an extra $566 for fixing initial problem, but the original paint color was our fault not the painters so we would have had to put another coat on anyway with a different color.

The guys showed up o time and completed the job ahead of schedule. It was completed exactly like I asked. It looks great.

From the very beginning I had confidence in Five Star to repair and paint my interior walls and ceilings that had foundation damage. My estimator, Greg Rosche was very professional and gave me an accurate and reasonable quote. The project manager, Braxton Patton made me feel secure in that I would be completely satisfied with the job and followed up on all details. I especially want to praise the two men who did the tape, bedding and painting, Jesus and Julio. They worked long and hard to see that I was completely happy in every detail. My home is back together now and I can thank Five Star for making that happen.

Estimator was on time and very clear in scope of work. Estimate was very competitive with other estimate I received. Schedule indicated time that crew would arrive (about one week later) and when I requested if she could move it up she responded that she would try. A day later she called with an offer to reschedule for the following day. Crew arrived on time (8AM) , did excellent masking, texturing and prep work. It was scheduled for 1.5 days, but I asked if they could complete the work the same day. They said they would try and ended up completing by about 7:00 PM . I was more than pleased with their workmanship.

There was an initial stumble on the start date, as the first project manager was not very communicative. However, the owner immediately got involved and took charge, and everything was smooth sailing from there. We did recommend Five Star to a friend of ours who had an excellent experience.

Project went very smoothly. Workers were very pleasant and easy to work with. Went out of their way to do a good job. Highly recommend.

Five Star painting did excellent work and went above and beyond to match paint colors and help me choose the perfect color and it looks excellent!

By far one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor in a long time. I have a big home that needed the interior painted (walls and baseboards and kitchen cabinets), and I got a quote from a different contractor that told me it would take 2-3 months to do. I found Five Star Painting on Home Advisors and a rep (Josh) came out the next day. Josh walked the property with me and the price he gave me was comparable to the first contractor; however, Five Star Painting's team was able to to get started immediately and was able to do the entire project in 4 days! Not only was it done quickly but the workmanship and attention to detail was perfect. They were precise, not sloppy, and they cleaned as they went along. They moved all the furniture away from the walls and then covered everything with plastic and when all the paint had dried they put all the furniture back where it was initially set. The team was very polite and respectful and everyone seemed to enjoy what they were doing. Oscar, the project manager, came out the first day of work and walked the property as well and confirmed everything we wanted done and reconfirmed the price that was quoted and what all that entailed. Oscar would then come by throughout the project and make sure everything looked good and the work was being done. Moses, the onsite crew chief, would make sure everyone knew what was next on the list to paint and kept everything running smoothly and moving consistently forward. The crew always showed up at the time requested in the morning and would work at least until 5:30 p.m. every evening. Upon completion of the project, Oscar was there and we walked the project to look for any minor details or issues that need to be fixed and every issue was addressed immediately and fixed. As many of you know, it is hard to find good contractors who are reasonable, proficient and goal is to make sure the customer is totally satisfied. I will refer Five Star Painting to anyone that asks me if I know a painter and they will be my first call when I need more painting done.
