Student Loan Payment Lawn Care

I could not be happier with the service. For several years, I struggled to find a reliable lawn care person, one who showed up when scheduled. I finally found SLP Lawn Care and they were even slightly cheaper than the previous unreliable service. When I got ready to move, I asked for help on trying to get my lawn and landscaping up to par to show the house. They made some good suggestions and did all of the work as promised for a reasonable price. Now that I have moved, I have asked them to work on my new lawn which is much bigger. Again, the price is reasonable and they have worked with me as we literally waited for the grass to grow.

They are prompt, efficient, and do a great job. I have no problem contacting them when I need additional work, and they will be my lawn care service from now on.

They did such a great job, we've become regular customers. We've recommended them to our neighbor and friends. The crew is very nice and respectful. My husband has high standards for his yard and they do an excellent job for a fair price.

Exceptional! Lawn mowing was done at the perfect height -- high enough to keep the lawn green, not too low where it would burn from the sun. Edging/weedeating was done along the house, shed, walkway, and in between plants. Leaves were blown off the porch and walkway. It was great to arrive home to a freshly-groomed yard! Though my husband and I have a rather small size lot, we like to have Jake and/or crew tend to it weekly. Feels good supporting someone who is familiar with our area, works hard at his business, and is trying to get student loans paid off! It's a pleasure to work with Jake -- we have a dedicated weekday visit, but we give him leeway to decide the time of day based on his workload. On rainy weeks he re-coordinates the work as needed. If he's minus a crew member and it's a heavy workload day, he calls to explain and see about a date shift. The communication is appreciated.

These guys are the best!!! I called and left a message and Jake got back with me within the hour. He came out and gave me a quote and we set up a schedule. They did a fantastic job!!! Always right on time and the quote has never changed!!! I will recommended these guys to everyone i know!!! He even emails me that the job is complete! !! This company has provided lawn care to our home for more than two years. They are highly professional -- the best we have ever used. They are prompt and efficient. Our lawn has never looked as good as it does under their care. The email we receive after each service is a nice touch. This company is owned and operated by a young man who has grown up in this area, and we love to support small local businesses. We have had a lot of rain this spring, which wreaks havoc with the schedule of a lawn care company who then must play catch-up to finish all work. During some weeks, our realistic expectation was that they may be a week behind when it rained for days on end -- but they were never more than a day or two off the normal schedule. If you want a local company that does what they say they'll do -- and do it well, these are the guys.

The Bi-monthly Lawn Mowing service is always prompt and efficiently handled using high quality professional grade lawn equipment. The fact that they are using very new machinery, helps to deliver a smooth and even cut across the entire lawn. They also do edge trimming upon each visit. I have them do the hedge-row about monthly for a slightly increased rate. If the scheduled service is delayed due to rains, they get my lawn service done in a reasonable amount of time after things dry up. I have worked many years as a volunteer/director at a youth baseball field and I know all of the problems with mowing immediately after heavy rains. I also have some older trees that have dropped large limbs during high winds many times.These folks have always been ready to saw and remove the fallen limbs, which are too heavy for me to remove or break down with my nibblers. The fees for this is also quite competitive. I am physically able and very familiar with performing all manner of grounds maintenance. However I now commute 140 miles daily for my work. It has been convenient to have a reliable service take care of yard work I no longer have the time to perform and they fully meet my requirements. The rates I pay have remained the same over the entire 2 years I have used Student Loan Payment Lawn-care. I feel that the rates are fully in-line with the premium services provided.

I spoke to Jake regarding the work I needed done. I got a quick response to my phone call. Jake and his team were very punctual and did exactly what I requested. Afterwards Jake spoke to me to be sure I was happy with their work. They were very willing to work with my schedule. I have read through some of the other reviews and I am surprised that there are any complaints. Not responding to calls is nothing I have ever experienced with this company. Complaints about them not being punctual also are not something I have experienced. I think in those cases there might have been some kind of misunderstanding. I am happy to recommend Student Loan Payment Lawn Care to anyone.

They were able to accommodate my schedule and were very professional. The work looks good. I'll probably hire them for future projects.

I purchased a coupon online and suggested some times for the service. I called a week later after not hearing from them and left a message. It's been close to a month and they never contacted me back.

The first two visits were great. We had different teams of workers each time, and some were more experienced than others; some of the work was not as terrific as the rest. Specifically, we made clear that one goal was to get all bush and tree branches away from the front of the house, but when they were done one large tree still has branches under the roof and interfering with the gutters. Nonetheless, they did a lot of work well, and I think we'd call them again when needed. We'd just get clear on instructions withe every new crew instead of expecting continuity from the company office.

I would highly recommend this service. We received a great price for our lawn care for every other week. Jake is very punctual in answering texts and has been extremely flexible. The workers do a fantastic job in a very short amount of time. There have been absolutely no issues with anything. We are very thankful to have found this service through Angie's List!

Met with the representative and I wanted them to install edging and repair some sprinkler heads. I was told that would not take long and i asked what else he suggested. He said they could till, seed and fertilize the yard. I heard nothing for weeks. Then one day I received a phone call saying they were on their way over. When I came home at lunch, all that was done was the yard was tilled. I assumed they were coming back to finish after lunch. That was weeks ago. Now I have a dirt backyard and nothing I asked for was done. Also, when we talked about seeding the yard, we were getting a lot of rain. With the weather the way it is now, there is no way I would be able to get seed to grow.

They were very courteous and asked me what I specifically wanted done and they did it.

I spoke to Jake the day I bought the deal to confirm that all trimmings would be removed by them and at no extra cost. He said Yes!!! 7/1/15 they came did most of the work but all trimmings was left infront of the house.They came back the next morning and loaded a small trailer with about 1/3 of the cuttings. they said they would come back that day or tomorrow for the rest. I left town early the next morning and come cack 7 days later from my trip. They NEVER came back!!!!!I called Jake many times but he didn't answer my calles. A day after my return, a man from our local Code enforcement came to my door and told me there had been complaints and I needed to have the cuttings remover. I did and it cost me $60.- The morning of 7-2 the workers finished some work they hadn't finished the day before like spraying the Oak tree where they had cut the brances off, take out a root from a bush ( they never told me there would be an extra charge ). Jake then call me later that day to tell me I owed him an extra $300,00!!!!I ended up paying $200.- extra making it more than my own gradner would have charged me + the extra $60.- for removing the cuttings by another company. all in all a very bad deal! I'll not use them again and would not recomend them onless you have money to burn!!

The service itself was superb. Had some issues with scheduling and getting answers about when the service would be performed.

I had called Jake for a quote, and he said he'd have someone out within the week. His man Brad showed up bright and early and looked over my yard, which totals about an acre and was a bit overgrown, and gave me a price. I agreed on the spot and he and his crew proceeded to cut and trim the whole yard. Since the grass was quite long, there were long rows of cut grass piled up, and he offered to rake them up for me. I declined, since he had been there so long already and I'm sure he was getting behind in his schedule. Excellent service from Brad and his team, and good service after the sale from Jake, who is as friendly a guy as you could possibly hope for. They're coming back this week to mow it again, and most likely many times after that as well. At their prices, I'm very seriously considering selling my lawn tractor and just letting them handle the whole thing.

Perfect. Got me scheduled in less than 24 hrs. Great job and were very careful of the custom stained fence we just put up. We've been getting a lot of rain so the grass was pretty overgrown. Regardless, these guys knocked it all out very quickly. Jake was a great guy to do business with and we'll definitely be using them again.

Excellent-Perfect on time every Thursday cut & trim in under 1 hr.

I was in Austin babysitting grandchildren so I was not here to communicate with them. My brother came over & instructed them as to what I wanted. Due to being handicapped, my yard needs several days of work. They did an appropriate amount of work for time paid for. I will definitely use them again to finish the rest of things that need to be done. Very polite person to work with.

The work they did was satisfactory. Communication could be better. I emailed when it had been over a week since I filled out info online. I got a reply that they were swampped because of the rain. He would get back to me when they were caught up. They showed up yesterday abouy 8 AM to start work. They left about 10 AM. The brush was bagged and left by the curb. But there was NO communication. Not a hello. Not a good bye.

This is an awesome service. Shortly after they arrived, bad storms starting popping up. Despite horrid conditions, they continued to work as long as it was safe to do so. They told me they would get back as soon as possible to finish, and I was thrilled to get home the next day and find everything completed and looking beautiful. I'll continue to use this service for my everyday yard work.
