I was told the cost would be $200/day for Mr. Harris and $100/day for his helper. (I know...I should NEVER have agreed to this arrangement). On the first day, they arrived at 10:20 AM and left by 5:00 PM. During the day, they left for "parts" and were gone for an inordinate amount of time. On the second day, Mr. Harris arrived about 8:30 AM and his helper arrived around 10:00 AM. During the "work" process, the two of them were loud and played more than they worked. They constantly left the back door open, although I asked them to please keep it shut as I didn't want to air condition the neighborhood. The ordeal was a nightmare and my nerves were shot when they finally left. A job that should have taken about 3 hours took them (by Mr. Harris' calculations of a day's work...funny, I thought a day's work would be 8 hours) a day and a half. By my math, that would be $450, but his math came up with $500. To top it off, the first time I washed dishes in the sink, the water poured out of the drain onto the floor because they left an open, unattached pipe. A plumber is here now installing new pipes and just showed me what a proper drain should look like.
Description of Work: Mr. Harris and his helper installed new appliances, sink, and disposal in my kitchen that was being remodeled.
