Don't use the Sugarland store. I would not let them back in MY house. Even though I had to pay them to move appliances, it seemed that they broke everything they touched. Broke the wheel on the refrigerator the back door would not close because they screwed up the weather stripping. Crushed the dryer vent and they could not even hook it up correctly. They messed up the toilet bowl reinstall and even the grout looks uneven. It took them weeks to find wood trim and in the end I had to send them to home depot where they had plenty of trim in stock. Thought they might want to stay for diner since they came so late in the morning and stayed well past my dinner time. What a mess!

The crew along with our sales rep from lone star floors ( Ziad ) showed up on time as promised , all work was done seamlessly and with great integrity . they finished all work before the promised dead line . they handled all the work very professionally. we have used Lone star floors in the past . they have always done great work ..

I was serviced by one of the owners of Lone Star Floors. I had used Lone Star Floors before but I had forgotten how great their service was. As before, I was given the Red Carpet treatment. The pricing was great. They were very courteous. They were on time. They completed the in the time frame promised and the cleanup fast and complete. Since then I've bought a new house and I'm going to use them again. I highly recommend Lone Star Floors for your flooring needs.

They did great work! We remodeled our home and have lived in it with the work complete for 2 years now. One obstacle that they overcame beautifully is that our second level is not exactly "level". the subfloor rises and falls slightly in some areas. I don't know how they did it, but they were able to tile over it without there being sharp edges or looking weird.
I was very nervous about whether the wood tile would look cheesy. It doesn't, it looks like wood. From what I understand, it's not easy to achieve that look, but their experience and attention to detail produced a great end result. Friends are always stunned to discover that it's tile, which is exactly what I wanted. We will and have used them again!

Lone Star Floors is extremely professional and dependable. I have used them twice myself, my mother has used them, and my friend used them in the last month. Their prices are very competitive, workers are competent and quick. Would definitely recommend using them to anyone!!!

Victim of bait and switch / what they showed us and what we paid for was not what was delivered. The store managers agreed that what we received was not the sample we selected and had on hand, they also, agreed that we were entitle to refund, but some days later the owner of company a slick talking Arab fellow refused to acknowledge the obvious difference and denied to honor his store manager promise to collect and refund our money.|Need I say more, this vendor is a predator so beware of LONE STAR FLOORS.

Lone Star provided a very quick, and very accurate estimate of the cost of the wood flooring and installation. Folks in the store were very helpful and professional in settling on the actual flooring and setting a time for the installation. They were very accommodating to my schedule as well.
Installers arrived a little late, but well within an acceptable time. At arrival, there were two installers, but fairly shortly, the second installer left...and did not return. The remaining installer was very, very good, but he was all on his own. We only had one family room done and it should have taken just one day (tops). It took almost two days with just one installer.
Excellent work, quality installation, and great price....well worth taking two days. I highly recommend Lone Star, but be prepared for installation taking a bit longer than expected.

Their handiwork was perfect could not have had a better team of three guys. They moved all my furniture and put it back . This was all done in one day Also sams price was cheeper than my other bids. Went by their store and got a bona cleaning kit at no charge. Thank you Sam for a wonderful job. My neighbor recomended Lone Star for her husband's son.

Lone Star didn't bother to even respond to 2 different requests for a visit and a quote.
If they can't bother to even return a phone call or an email, they are immediately on my "do not use" list.

Mohamed and everyone with Lone Star Floors, are extremely easy to deal with. They are very helpful, not pushy and have quality products, installers and anyone needed for a remodeling job.
Phone calls are answered promptly or returned shortly...every single time. They do what they say they will do and everyone associated with them, go out of their way to please you. I believe they attract people who have a similar style and desire to please you. All tradesmen I've met who work with them, has been highly experienced and excellent in what they do.

Ruben and his helper showed up on time in the morning, did a beautiful job installing very small tiles in two bathrooms, and then came back that same afternoon to do the grouting. The price was extremely reasonable, and I am pleased with the results.

Ziad and crew performed the work exactly as promised with no extra fees added. They were very professional and left the house and grounds as clean as possible every day. They were receptive to suggestions and questions and they paid attention to detail.

We installed our whole house (except media room) with engineered hard wood through lone star floors.We bought the wood floors here and they also install the floors , overall they did very good job.The sales consultant is very patient and the installer is professional.The good thing about installing is that they don't use contract labors, the installer from store (ours is Simon, strongly recommend) is very professional and responsible.He did the leveling first (for the first whole day ) and installed the first floor with glue and second floor floating.We had a good experience with them overall.

Avoid this guy like the plague. You have to supply all kinds of things you shouldn't have to (paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, painters tape). Once Ziad gets your deposit, you don't see or hear from him again until he wants more money. I kept waiting for him to finish my bathroom, and then I received my credit card bill and realized he had made an unauthorized charge on the bill three weeks earlier when he decided he was finished. I thought I decided when the job was complete, but not with Ziad.
The job was not finished to my satisfaction, but he insisted everything was done to some specification or other that changes every time you talk to him. The granite bench in the shower does not drain although he insists it should. The tile in the shower was installed haphazardly and not at all the way it should have been.
Also, make sure you get the tile and granite you pay for. He will make you buy way more than is needed and will keep the remainder if you don't watch him. He then resells the left over granite and tile to someone else.
I truly wish I had used another tile/granite contractor for my bathroom, but used Ziad because my general contractor knew Ziad's workers could do the shower work which was tricky.

We bought a house and decided to remodel all the bathrooms. Three and one-half bath. Ziad came by with Denise, an interior decorator, to look at the home and take measurements. As with all remodeling, there are always a difference in opinion between husband and wife. They took us to a home that they just finished remodeling and that helped us come to an agreement. After deciding on the fixtures, colors, tile, frame less glass doors etc; Ziad started the remodeling. He was at the job sit every day to oversee his crew and even perform the work himself. Ziad was also kind enough to clean out the drains of the house since the previous owners left a clump of two foot long hair in the drains of all the bath tube and sinks. Ziad also changed out all the toilets for us. They discovered that one of the toilet was sitting on plywood that had rotted through. He showed it to us and provided a recommendation for fixing the problem. He also had to install a offset flange on another toilet to accommodate the 12 inch rough out for the toilet. They finished the work in one and a half weeks. They customer service after the completion of the job was also excellent. We discovered that there were leaks in the frame less glass shower enclosure. We contacted Ziad and he arranged a time to meet us and came out to fix the problem. We are very happy with the remodeling.

Mr. Ziad came and took measurments, then he went away tyo plan and estimate the work. He returned on Saturday morning when my wife was available and briefed us on his ideas and plan. The estimated cost provided was for a little over $16,000.00 USD and he was willing to start two days later. The work was estimated to require one week.
The estimate included quality materials. We know from previous experience with this company that Mr. Ziad does very good work. However, we did not proceed as the estimate was higher than what we had been budgeted for this particular project..

Overall, my experience with them was good. They seemed very knowledgeable about the various types of flooring and installation. They gave me a good price; it was $2000 with the grouting and everything. I had someone else install the flooring actually. I would possibly use them again in the future.
