Can't even get a hold of this vendor. The phone number they have listed doesn't work.

I've been in my house for about 30 years. I've had the roof replaced a couple of times. The last time was horrible so I used Angie's List to find Texas Lonestar Construction. They were really nice and courteous. When they said they were going to do something, they did it. The crew was real good. The also did the sheet rock inside and painting. They had a nice unified bill. They know what they are doing. This was all covered under insurance.

I had several rotten siding boards/trim on the back of my house that needed replacing. Initially, I called a siding company, explained what I needed done, and they told me the job was too small for them. My next call was to Texas Lonestar Construction (after reading all their positive reviews). I made an appointment with Jason to come to the house and give me an estimate. He arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional. I received his estimate by email a few days later and decided to go ahead and hire them to do the work. They arrived on time on the scheduled work day with the person who would be doing the work on our house (Pablo?). He determined the supplies needed to complete the job, and came to the house the following day and completed the work. The boards were replaced, caulked, and painted by the time I arrived home from work that day. Melissa (site manager) met me at my home, inspected the work with me, and received my payment. Over the past few years, we've had a significant amount of work done to our home...some good experiences...some disappointing. TLC did not disappoint. Excellent customer service, quality work, and good prices. I wish I had known about them several years ago! TLC will be the first we call next time we need work done on our home.

They came out and gave a quote. They are a very good company, but they were too expensive.

They were great. They were on time, professional, we got great information and feedback and they answered all of our questions. We just haven't decided to hire them yet as we're still deciding how to move forward.

They were punctual and provided exactly what we wanted. They described a unique stamp treatment that seemed interesting and something we would enjoy so we agreed to proceed with the added cost. The process involved a powdery substance that was thrown onto the concrete patio once poured and then a rubber mat was pressed onto the surface, creating a stone look to the entire patio. The powder ended up everywhere - on the plants, the shrubs, the deck, the foundation of our house, the wooden swing, the water hose, the fencing, the grass, the sidewalk, everywhere! Of course, eventually this wore off or "grew" off but everything was red and orange for months. Unfortunately, the process began to separate from the concrete after several months and the company had to be called back to do it again. They came back and pulled up the areas that were separating and replaced those areas. Well, several months after that, the same areas began to separate again. Only this time, the company did not return our calls or emails. So we are left with areas that have now cracked or come apart altogether. As for the deck, they did not stain it but that was our decision; we stained it ourselves. Now, the wood is separating and cracking so not sure if their stain would have prevented this (we doubt it because we used top of the line stain). Overall, we would not recommend this company, but not exactly sure if it's a fair thing to say because the Texas sun just beats up decks and patios and our experience could just be due to extreme sun and nothing the company did wrong.

They came out when they said they would and they were prompt with the bid. The only thing is that their price was high for me.

They did a great job. I would say everything they did was really good. They responded quickly, they gave me an estimate really fast. They recorded everything that they were supposed to do. They came to the house and did the repairs without any hassles at all. They were very responsive. The price was good. They took care of everything quickly and efficiently. Everything was done very well. I would rate them highly and would use them again the future if necessary.

I had a den converted into a room. They added 2 walls and 2 doors in the process. They did a good job, but, left a few things. In spite of leaving things, I was very pleased with their work. I will continue to use them in future.

They took longer than they said and they got so busy that I got put down last on their party. We found them through Angie's List where they had high recommendations. There was not enough communication between the contractor and the sub contractors. The direction they went in in getting things fixed that weren't fixed correctly took a while. I was very happy with my tile work, that guy did an excellent job. The dry wall service, they didn't get the wall lined up and I had a few issues that took forever to get fixed. It took quite a while and they didn't tell me until the end that I had to go pick out the glass for the shower myself, I thought they would bring me samples. I bought all the tile and the fixtures. Some parts were good and some parts were really bad. It got to a point where sometimes they weren't showing up until 4:30 in the evening.
