+ -1 moreSLS was very rude when I called back. He said I had already paid him. Too bad that I didn't check under the newly spread soil.Garden was covered with 2 yards of good soil--I had no complaints with soil.However it is impossible to plant in hard unprepared soil under new spread. SLS said till couldn't be used in raised beds--which I have done in many years past, both hired and done myself. I also have flat garden beds that would pose no problem for tiller. He just hid his work under new soil.
Description of Work: Job required tilling garden. Owner asked SLS owner to use roto-tiller and dig down deep. SLS insisted that it could be done with hoe by hand. Worker was unable to dig more than 3 to 5 inches. SLS covered with fresh soil. I did not check depth at time of completion. When I called SLS back and asked for return to see job, he refused. I offered to pay additional if he would have his employee use tiller as I originally requested. He refused and said his employee had" dug down a foot"--impossible!
