Description of Work: Added railings on front porch steps and in House.. Added safety bars in bath and repaired damaged sheetrock in den. Also some minor painting and repaired broken windows from hail storm.

 + 0 moreI love my new kitchen! Pape Construction did a wonderful job. Everyone was courteous and professional. I had my old kitchen island removed and a new one designed. Pape Constuction had many helpful suggestions for this. They also removed part of my old cabinets and built new ones. You can't tell the difference between the old and new ones. They installed gas in our kitchen so I could have a gas stove. They removed our old lighting rewired, and installed new lighting. They installed all my new appliances. They also converted all my lower cabinets to have pull-outs. These pull-outs are much sturdier than the kind you can do-it yourself install from Home Depot or the like. The painting and staining were very carefully matched to my existing walls and cabinets. My husband and I are very pleased and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Very diligent employees. We had windows replaced as part of the noise abatement program because we live next to the airport. Some of our neighbors had other contractors doing their windows at the same time. The crew from Pape was always the first to arrive in the mornings and the last to leave at quitting time. Not only that, but our next door neighbors had a contractor who was new, and their crew was constantly asking questions of the Pape crew on how to do things. Plus, the contractor next door had to come back out about a month later when it rained, because the windows were leaking! Our windows are just fine and beautiful! We are planning to use Pape for a future expansion project of our home.

 + 2 moreAs part of the airport abatement program we bid for them. We had three bids, and were lucky enough to get them. They were on time efficient and finished before the deadline. There were other contractors that worked on different houses for weeks. Ours was promised in a week and they finished before that. We were the lucky ones! Thank you Pape Construction.
Description of Work: put in new windows, doors, ventilation fans, painted window trim and new door and replaced hardy plank siding where needed for adjustments.

 + -1 moreDoug Pape is a hands on contractor - very respnsive and visted the site often. His crew was punctual, competent, and professional. Everything went as contracted and planned. Very, very happy.
Description of Work: Remodeled guest bath. Replaced tub, floor tile, tile on walls - floor to ceiling, replaced window, modified door way, vanity for sink and towel closet. Also, did tile back splash in Kitchen.

 + 2 moreThe project was to take about a week. They worked in sections of removing windows/doors and installing over that week and completed within schedule. Ensure all prep work was performed so not to mess up the home. Cleaned up after each day. Their painting was excellent. Had to do a lot of scraping old paint.
Description of Work: They installed all new doors and windows as part of a city/federal program at no cost to owner. We hired them to paint the outside and inside of our home after the project.
