Mosquitonix - San Antonio

They come once a month to check our system. We have a whole system installed, and then they do the pest control about every three months. I don't have a clue what they charged because we are on a monthly payment thing. I think it's like maybe $185 or something like that. It sounds like it's a lot, but it includes the insecticide, changing out the nozzels and making sure everything is working properly. They run the system to make sure that it's working properly, then they exchange out any nozzels that are clogged or damaged. We have a problem with squirrels eating the nozzels. They provide the insecticide, and every three months pesticide all around the house is included in that. I think that the price is a little high but it's not that high where we won't use it. They just show up, they don't need to get in the house or anything.

MosquitoNix installed 45 nozzles throughout my entire large backyard. I had two very hardworking young men Garrod and Mike install the system. They dug and buried the lines that the nozzles are attached to and placed some nozzles and hoses discreetly on tree trunks. If you did not know we had the system you wouldn't be able to tell by looking. The nozzles in the gardens look like tall copper sprinkler heads. Garrod and Mike worked through the heat, and were extremely neat and cleaned up their mess from digging. It took them pretty much the intire day to install all of the hoses and nozzles. When they were done, Garrod explained the system and use of the remote control which was pretty simple, easy to do! They also generously sprayed our backyard to give us a headstart on the mosquitos. Looking forward to a bug free summer! If interested ask for Jeremy. He did a great job explaining the system so that I understood what I was buying and how it worked!

We have had this system for a couple of years and I like it. The maintenance guys are very reliable. Trey is the maintenance supervisor and whenever I call him, he and his guys are on the case. These guys will do whatever it takes to make a satisfied customer. All of the tech's are professional. But....the office administration group is completely unreliable (my reason for the C rating). It took me several months to get the office to call before maintenance visits. You know the drill, locked gate, no access. Finally, they started calling in advance. But, my suspicion is the office never tells the field what they scheduled. If they over-book, they never call. I do not know who the office manager is, maybe it is Jeremy. Upshot is, if these folks could find a decent office manager, they would be outstanding. Bottom line, this is expensive but worth it, in my opinion.

It was just installed so I am not able to review if my yard is free of mosquitos. Time will tell but Jeremy (salesperson) said work is guaranteed with money back if not happy. As far as sales process and installation, all was great. Jeremy was right on time, explained system and cost, and was not at all pushy. Installation scheduled two weeks after I agreed to contract. The Installers (Garrod and Javier (?) were right on time this morning, worked about 4.5 hours putting everything in, were professional and polite, and explained system information to me at the end. I am very pleased with how this installation went today.

I like these people and they've tried hard but up until it got cold we've had just as many mosquitos as we had before. Is there a way to solve it? I don't know but so far we've seen no reduction in mosquitos. I hate to say it but I think I wasted a fair amount of $$$$. We had to use OFF before and we have to use OFF now. I'd love for Mosquito Nix to find a solution.

I would not use Mosquito Nix services our experience was very disappointing. First they tried to add thing s to the contract that we indicated we didn't need. They were honor their time commitments knowing it was crucial due to our leaving town . There were no calls for explanation. We immediately cancelled contract no services were ever performed. They still tried to bill our credit card for a deposit when they failed to honor a commitment. No one ever called to try and make things it. It was just a disaster. We called another service that was professional and handled things immediately.

So far, so good. Everything is covered. They were very prompt in the scheduling and installation. I liked their professionalism. Everything just worked like clockwork. They were very responsive and true to their schedule. The installation was professional, and they were courteous. I became aware of how good they were from neighbors who also have their service. They have had it for a number of years, and they told me that they were very pleased. So I called Mosquitonix, and so far they have proven my neighbors right. The whole installation and labor is fairly priced. I am using them because I replaced another pest control company's services that I used this past year as I was not pleased with them. The service and the scheduling were fine, but the end result wasn't. The other pest control company's mosquito control was not very effective in controlling the mosquitoes.
