Description of Work: I called and left a message on Metatron Cleaning voicemail and received a text message at 8:30pm or so that night. I was out and about so no big deal but it is what it is. She asked about the square footage: 2100 sqft. and I stated that I wanted deep clean, whole house. It was a surprise for my wife, I wanted it done during the day when she was at work and them to be gone by the time she got home, which gave them 9 hours. We agreed on a Thursday (it was Tuesday) and they said they would be there between 9:30 and 10:00am. They showed up at 10:30. Which they informed me they would be a little late around 9:45 via text message. The original quote was for $250, She came in introduced herself (don't recall her name) and then she asked to see the house. Went all over the place and looked around, we have 27' ceilings and a fan that hangs and she didn't seem to mind. I did have a HUGE pile of laundry that needed to be done and she said they would help with the folding (which I hate). She said it could be $300-350 she didn't know. I told her to get started and she went through the garage and grabbed her crew and then they began. Including her 3 women total. Upstairs first spare bedroom/bathroom /office master/ master bath so on. I was organizing some things, pitching things out, doing laundry, getting things out of the way for them to clean, so on and so forth. I didn't work as hard as they did but I did break a sweat. I went around inspecting their work, which at the time I found to be satisfactory, but I was looking for the Wholly $#!) that is clean feeling, which I did not receive. I gave them $360 total including tip. She just said she was done and then stared at me. I said ok let me pay you then. Pulled the money out of my wallet and said $360 Ok? She said yes. I figured was fair enough for the service. She left and then I really started to look around. The floors did not look swept, the floorboards were not "cleaned", the top of the fridge was not done, the side of the fridge between the wall was not cleaned, cobwebs everywhere, tops of the curtains and curtain rods were not done, the downstairs half bath was not fully cleaned, still dirty even. As I was on my hands and knees cleaning behind the toilet and doing the baseboards myself. This was 4PM, I texted her back and stated I was not satisfied and that she needed to come back to clean more or come back to give me back some money. She said she could be there in 10mins. I agreed. I had gone through with a list that I had compiled and started naming things off. She gave me the "I can't believe "they" (referring to her employee's) didn't clean that" routine. She was by herself hauled her stuff back into the house and then started working on the list I had provided. I had spent 8 years in the Army as an Infantryman and I know how to clean, but I didn't expect to have to do so much of it while paying so much. I am still not terribly satisfied with the service but my wife was about 15mins out from the house, and I needed the woman gone. I sprayed some fabreeze, lit a candle straightened up a little and then went about my business to surprise my wife. My wife was amazed because of the previous amount of dismay in the house, but I can see that they are either truly not professional cleaners or I have too high of standards. The woman kept asking me if I wanted things cleaned, how they were to clean them and so on. I just want things that are dirty, clean. I am also a person that does not negotiate well with service people, because this is something I can do for free, but needed a whole house done in 1 day, which I couldn't do. All-in-all the house got clean, but it did not get spotless. The laundry was all but 3 loads or so from completion and I do not feel that I received good value in my money. I would not hire this company again.
